Basically the ability: Sturdy is absolutely useless right now. The ability prevent that OHKO moves like: Horn Drill and Fissure OHKO your Pokemon. But these moves are already banned from every tournament (standard clauses), hence making the ability have no use. In gen V they made it that Sturdy functions like a Focus Sash preventing that a Pokemon can be brought from 100% HP to 0% HP. For example: Rhydon (Sturdy) is in play and faces a Magneton with Hidden Power Grass, now this Grass move will with no doubt (assuming a reasonable power) bring down the Rhydon. But because Rhydon has Sturdy he hangs on with 1HP. If the Pokemon with Sturdy was even slightly damaged, with Spikes for example, the ability doesn't work. Making it a balanced ability IMO. Only 100% - 0% is prevented. Pros: - Adds a little to the comp scene. - Making the ability useful. Cons: - Ew gen V (??) - Gen V mechanic in a, for now, gen III game.

I made this in hopes that it might help in the mean time, between now and when/if a colorblind accessibility option is added. What I think could be fun is a capture race. Everyone starts off in pallet or viridian (most likely Viridian since theres a pokecenter). Each person starts with a fresh Ratata or Pidgey caught from Route 1 as the only pokemon in their party. From there we all have 30 minutes (could be more or less it doesn't matter) to run out and catch or train whatever Pokemon we want using only the lowly pokeballs and your starting pokemon. At the end of the time we have a tournament with whatever team we caught/trained. Could be fun since you have to balance catching new pokemon vs training up who you have. This obviously will require a heck of a lot of honor system stuff but I don't see anyone wanting to win so badly that they'd cheat. One way we can work around this is having the winner of the final tournament giving their pokemon to someone to check the capture date/time. We could also put restrictions on it like "No using Fly" or "No tm's or hm's at all" those kinds of things. Just an idea.

Hey everyone. unfortunately, I'm shipping off to Basic training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma for the Army tomorrow morning. I can't make any more, but I'm glad everyone's been happy with those that I have made. Basic training is for 9 weeks, and 4 days. I'm not sure what we can do for all the variations of colour blindness, as there is more than just the Green/Red Colour-blind that the OP is describing. The better option would be to increase the opacity of the background and then do a depleting HP-bar type animation, so that a pokémon @ 50% hp has 50% of the bar displayed.

Refer to previous image for the "Staryu" as "Staryu". IMO this "Staryu-Starmie" looks better than our current Starmie, but I won't change it since Zizel seems to oppose it. So yeah guys I left, I left for a few reasons and im gonna list em below. Thanks for a great time guys. 1: Not enough competitive players 2: I dont care about shinies 3: Uair is kind of an ass 4: We had a team tournament yesterday, our leader didnt even know about it... when informed despite being one of the wealthiest guys in the team neglected to donate to help pay for the reward. I paid for a shiny marowak out of my own pocket 5: Yes its a bad thing when the people from your own team neglect to show up for their own tournament, Rilleh you were supposed to co-host with me, yet I was stuck doing it by myself until Snowyh volunteered help (thank you) 5: Everyone else is bailing 6: Keep inviting noobs in that just spam chat. I promised a guy a level 50 competitive if he left the team yesterday... he did, great loyalty. 7: Bad reputation because quite frankly the vast majority of you scam people for shinies.
