We have been through many hardships and it was really challenging for not only me but all participants in many cases. I would love all constructive criticism or any feedback about PRL as this is planned to continue in future if our community keeps making it happen or somehow PokeMMO staff decides to support us as I guess we have proven that we can run this thing properly! Hall Of Fame and Rewards Following participants have earned rewards! I know the rewards are not that big but that's what our community could gather for this event so I still appreciate all the effort. Suneet - 13,225,000$ and "Champion" Title kiwikidd - 5,290,000$ and "Elite 4" Title Guilleex - 1,322,500$ and "Elite 4" Title SweeTforU - "Elite 4" Title Cali - "Elite 4" Title Hagene - 5,290,000$ and "Grand GYM Leader" Title Kasperl - 1,322,500$ Those who have earned in-game money rewards can request their rewards by replying to my message about this from discord or by mailing me in game. Until they do so, their rewards will stay untouched without any date of expiration. Honorable Mentions: About Future Plans PRL is scheduled to continue around January of 2020. We are moving to a new system! The plans are not final and may change before that date but, I will summarise what to expect when PRL continues, We will have GYMs permanently open! GYMs will continue to hand out badges for future conferences even during and after the League Conference. GYM Leaders will open and close their GYMs whenever they want as long as they are still registered as official GYM Leader of PRL. Winner of every GYM battle will get 10,000$! Also once a player attends a conference, their badges will reset so they will have to recollect! There will be regular conferences! Instead League Seasons, we will hold Pokémon League Conferences! People with 8 badges in their posession will be able to sign up. The winner will challenge Elite 4 then the Champion for their title! This will more canonize our Player-run league! So in next conference to become a champion, your challenge is expected to be like this: Much shorter tournaments! Four different battle conditions will be announced before a conference starts, every competitor will have to be ready for all 4 conditions. The tournament will be BO3 Single Elimination and conditions will be randomly selected right before the match! So PRL will be permanently active, but the tournaments will conclude much faster! Also there won't be wasted effort by preparing for a match that opponents do not attend to. Feedback Needed! A lot of people gave lovely feedbacks during tournament and what makes me proud and happy is almost all of them were quite positive. Here are some examples! I need every constructive criticism and feedback you have to give to make this event better, positive or negative!   3. Breeding is fun, one of my already favorite things to do in PokeMMO despite it being an expensive hobby. Yet sometimes, when I have a lot of Pokemon in the PC, each with different IV stats, I found it hard to tell which Pokemon I should bring to breed. In my first attempt, I wanted to go for a 4x31 Spheal, but somehow ended up with a 2x31/2x30 Feebas instead because it was absolutely chaotic, I forgot to look at the gender. Despite what happened, I grew to like the eventual Milotic, but I definitely made a mistake in the process. So I decided to make a tool so that I wouldn't be confused anymore. It doesn't use anything special, just a spreadsheet program. I figured along the way some other people would like something like this as well, so I made a public version for others to use, complete with a tutorial inside!   4. 1st SEVII Islands Festival (Part 4) Background (fictional) story: The entire island blooms, in nice and warm weather, during almost the entire year. You ever wondered why inside the Icefall Cave is always frozen? Locals have an explanation for that. It's said that several hundreds of years ago, that mountain was actually a dormant volcano. One day, without any warning, the volcano erupted. Suddenly the day became night, the sun was hidden behind the dark clouds of ashes. Fireballs flew through the sky. The population was in a panic. Then a mysterious flying Pokémon showed up. With a few powerful whirlwinds it scattered the ashes from the sky, crushed the fireballs and saved everyone. It boldly dove inside the volcano, and in its final breath, it froze its interior. After that, every 50 years, during the festival, the inhabitants of the island pay respect to the spirit of the Pokémon, with celebrations, Pokémon battles and catching competitions. For as long as we can remember, even before the written language as we know it, that the SEVII Islands Festival was held only for locals. No outsider was allowed to attend. Generations later, for the first time, they have decided to welcome trainers from all over the Pokémon world. The festival itself takes place once every 50 years!     Secret Bases 2.0

    Secret Bases 2.0: 1) New Secret Base layouts would be added. 2) Secret Bases have the option to be set to public, invite only, friends only or closed. Closed would mean no one can visit the Secret Base. Invite only means you must have an invite to enter the Secret Base. Friends only means you must be on the owner's friend's list and the owner must be online to enter the Secret Base. And, public means anyone can enter the Secret Base as long as the owner is online. 3) People have an option to "like" Secret Bases they visit. 4) The ability to add a Secret Base to your "Favorites" list so you can visit it at any time. 5) A popularity leaderboard where rankings are determined by how many "likes" a Secret Base has. 6) The ability to invite friends to your Secret Base. 7) A menu that allows you to see where your Secret Base is located, how many visits and likes it has received and the Secret Base popularity leaderboard. 8) Secret Base decorations can now be sold and purchased off the GTL, traded between players and gifted to other players via mail. Team Secret Bases: 1) Team Bosses can create a "Team Secret Base" 2) Team members can visit the Team Secret Base at any given time regardless whether the Boss is online or not. 3) Team Secret Bases are generally larger than regular Secret Bases and feature various exclusive decorations (Battle Arena, PC, Spectator Bleachers, etc.) 4) Team members can contribute decorations to the Team Secret Base. 5) The power to edit the Team Secret Base can be granted to chosen team members by the Boss. 6) Non team members can enter the Team Secret Base if given an invite.

Week9 Day1 Suneet vs urquidi urquidi decided to resign early from this match as he had another match waiting for another tournament and it was expected as his standing in tournament was not getting affected in any way by result of this match. We will get results for PRL in another topic and future plans as well soon so stay tuned for that.

    Emerald route 119

    As others have mentioned, there are several Invisible Kecleon that block people's paths and require the Devon Scope to reveal and then fight (You can catch them, or faint them). Steven will give it to you on Route 120's bridge, there are two Kecleon which are mandatory to beat for story progression if I recall correctly being the one blocking the path to Fortree City and the one blocking the bridge on Route 120. The others can be avoided as they are not mandatory for story progress, but can still be cleared if you want to unlock a little optional area / shortcut sometimes. c:

    Daily rewards

    (this is the part where I play devils advocate) I don’t believe there’s much concern needed regarding the economy at this point. I mean, we just had an update that significantly impacted the economy in more ways than one. And I can confidently say that the Lucky Egg and Amulet Coin reworks affected the economy significantly more than daily rewards ever would. Unfortunately the rest of the player base might not share the same enthusiasm as you do!!

    Long term accounts recognition

    Would be nice to get something to show for long term accounts. I have been playing since 2014/15 would be nice for profiles to show "loyalty" even if it's just to the players themselves. Like thanks for playing so long. A star system on the profile or titles would be a cool feature. Feel free to improve

  26. No need doesn't mean it wouldn't be interesting to have. As an example, these are some "medals" you can get in CS: GO: Untradeable, therefore, without any market value. But for some players who really enjoy the game, a recognition signal like this may be worth more than any "shiny" or "labcoat". ( These medals would look amazing on a possible public trainer card, don't you think? ) Anyway, as a 2012 player, I think the devs should explore this.

  27. even tho it's not that important to many people, the ability to interact with your follow pokemon like in hg/ss would be really nice since it will make the game seem friendlier to newer players and people who just like to relax while playing the game. i don't think it would be that hard to implement either, since it would only check if you are having a following pokemon, if you are looking at the mon(since it always follows you) and it would turn the pokemon towards you if you do interact with it.

  28. It'd definitely be a great addition, I always found the interactions with follower sprites in HGSS quite endearing, especially how they change with happiness levels. Unique messages for Mewtwo and Rayquaza would be cool too, like them getting bored without battles or being happy they get to battle after being in the wild for so long, or if they're glad a strong trainer found them

  29. PokeMMO Mods are a custom format used by the PokeMMO Client to load override resources. The following types of resources are available to modify: Music (mp3/ogg/wav) Item Icons Monster Icons Front/Back Monster Battle Sprites (PNG/GIF) Front/Back Monster Battle Sprite scale (Table for overwriting render scale. Default is 3x. Only supported for GIFs) Front Battle Monster Sprite positioning (Table for overwriting the rendered Y coordinate/altitude) Basic Mod Structure: Every mod is a simple zip file. It can be edited with any zip editor, including window's build in zip archive support. A mod file should contain the following required elements: 1. An info.xml file with basic information about the mod and it's author. 2. An icon.png file with an icon for the mod. 3. The resources you wish to modify. info.xml The basic structure is as follows: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <resource name="PokeMMO Example Mod" version="1.0" description="Barebones mod with no actual content changes." author="Desu" weblink="https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/user/2-desu/"> </resource> Note: The weblink must link to the "pokemmo.eu" domain. icon.png This is simply a PNG file which is displayed in the Mod Management panel. Suggested size is 48x48. Music: All files in the /sounds/ folder will be loaded as music files. They should be named '0/123.mp3' where 0 is region id and 123 is the sound id. Use "/bgm" command ingame to print out the current playing sound id. Item Icons: All files in the /sprites/itemicons/ folder will be loaded as item icons. They should be named '123.png' where 123 is the item id. You may use the 'Dump Moddable Resources' utility in settings to see what items correspond with what ids. Suggested size is 24x24. Monster Icons: All files in the /sprites/monstericons/ folder will be loaded as monster icons. They should be named 'ID-FRAME.png' You may use the 'Dump Moddable Resources' utility in settings to see what monsters correspond with what ids. Suggested size is 32x32. Monster Battle Sprites: Certain files in the /sprites/battlesprites/ folder will be loaded as monster icons. The naming format is 'ID-front-n.png'. ID is the ID of the monster, followed by either 'front' or 'back' to indicate which type of sprite this is, finally followed by either 'n' (normal) or 's' (shiny). PNG Notes: PNG files are required to be 64x64. Front sprites are modified by the 'table-front-y.txt' and 'table-front-altitude.txt' tables. PNG files are NOT modified by the 'table-front-scale.txt' and 'table-back-scale.txt' tables. GIF Notes: GIF files support arbitrary image sizes. GIF sprites are NOT modified by the 'table-front-y.txt' and 'table-front-altitude.txt' tables. Sprites will be automatically positioned to what the 'center' of the sprite. GIF files are modified by the 'table-front-scale.txt' and 'table-back-scale.txt' tables. For example, You can use this to render front sprites at 2x scale while back sprites are 3x. GIF files currently use a static time between frames of 50ms. I only remembered this when writing this documentation, it will be fixed Soon™ Table Notes: There are several table files in the /sprites/battlesprites/ folder which modify the way sprites are rendered. I recommend you use the 'Dump Moddable Resources' utility to see how this table functions. It is editable with a standard text editor. table-front-y.txt - Modifies the rendered Y position for front sprites. (PNG Only) table-front-altitide.txt - Modifies the rendered Y position for front sprites. Would control shadow rendering, if we supported it. (PNG Only) table-front-scale.txt - Modifies the render scale of front sprites. (GIF Only) table-back-scale.txt - Modifies the render scale of back sprites. (GIF Only) table-summary-scale.txt - Modifies the render scale of sprites in the summary window.

  30. Also, keep in mind that you can only have 250 MB of uncompressed files and a limit of 10k files in a single mod file. Therefore it’s suggested to use .ogg/.mp3 over .wav Limitation seems to be ignored now
