The matchmaking is extremely inconsistent. I was unranked and played against the #2 player back-to-back games, followed by the #73 and #3 player in the same day. Ever since becoming ranked & getting as high as #52, I haven't played against anyone else in the top-100. It makes zero sense from the experience I've had.

Among the various generations of pokemon i decided on the fourth generation, mainly because in that generation is the evolved form of my favorite pokemon, togepi. It's the same brainlet excuse people who want Landorus-Therian to be banned from Smogon tiers have been using for years despite more overpowered/unhealthy pokemon/strategies having less usage. Yeah, that is somewhat my goal. I want a way to fuel some money to me so I can start building COMP teams but also assist with the PokeMMO community with there own themes they would like. I look forward to the many request as you have mentioned, but I know I am going to eat my own words in the future if I get busy with lots of request. I think prioritizing them is just being logical and realistic to be honest and no hard feelings here at all. I definitely didn't think you were stepping on my toes or trying to tell me what to do, so all good. I still stand by what I said... if you want to come back and do the theme shop thing, then go for it! It is not about being rude or anything of that nature. Let's be real, we have different styles of work so someone could choose what they would want similar to the type of car they choose from different dealerships. lol. *I will say, I thought about it and I have revamped my original thread to somewhat of a similar approach (I might as well copied you at this point) and decided to let the person name the price as that would be fair. Hello. As briefly described by Rottenko, you need to send a forum message to SGMs Bearminator and SecretDjinn to apply for a staff position. Tell them a little about yourself and why you want to join. To be considered, there are a few requirements: The applicant needs to have at least 500 hours of in game played time, including good knowledge about PokeMMO and be able to communicate in English. In addition, the applicant should have completed all four regions and preferably have no history of punishment. Preferably 18+/mature as well. Hello, this isn't exactly a reply about you- more like a general explanation about how the recruiting works and what can be a reason for the player to not be chosen for a staff member position. So please, don't take it personally or as me telling you that you are not accepted. First of all, the requirements that we put for recruitment are just entry requirements. They don't guarantee for a player to be chosen -sometimes I get 'but I have 500 hours already" messages but the reason why at least 500 hours is required is the experience and knowledge about the game that the player has acquired during those hours. We might also decline a candidate that was known for toxic or very impatient behaviour in the past and there is no visible sign of changed behaviour. The experience of players differs. One is more solo-play oriented, the other is a social person but without really a bit of knowledge about the game itself. Some things also come with time. When the player meets the requirements and messages us, we then check the player. We see if there were any punishments and if yes then how serious they were or when they have been given. We then check the activity of the player in general, to see if the application has sense and we don't get players who will join our team and not be here too much, if at all. However, there are also few reasons why someone is not accepted. One of them is the simple fact that we could've recently accepted a lot of staff members and need to make sure they are properly aided first. A situation like this happened not so long ago, as an example. We don't usually consider our team "full". It doesn't hurt to have more than one person in a timezone/language but when we get a lot of people for a certain position, and the candidate is not considered fully known to be a good choice, we simply choose to wait and see that person more. A lot of candidates contact us only to be nowhere to be seen a few days/ week later, when not chosen immediately. Life happens but we don't want to waste ours and their time. Our priority is to make all staff members properly aided in all fields, including mentoring and general help. Lastly, we are forming a team. We spend a lot of time together and we aim to help the community and each other grow every day. We aim to bring people who we believe will be helpful and fit for the role. Sometimes I get messages like "I wrote to you last week and you haven't accepted me, and XYZ got accepted now" and yeah that happens too. Sometimes those accepted candidates were left before the decision as well and were simply accepted later. To summarize- a player doesn't necessarily has to do something wrong. It might be that he/she is just simply not active enough for us to consider bringing him/her to the team, or not known by us enough to immediately see it as a good idea. Being rejected from joining isn't always final as well, and certainly doesn't mean that the player is not good enough, or considered worst than the staff that was chosen. I speak from my perspective, but I'm sure other staff members would agree- any help that you, players provide is considered needed and makes that community as fantastic as it can be. You don't necessarily need a badge to do so. However, we do appreciate all of you who contact us to become part of a staff team. As always, I will remind anyone reading this long message that I am always open to questions about the staff team, requirements, and any info you will possibly need.

Basically this. I'm no wizard but I could almost guarantee the number of scams would cut down by a huge number just for stating it's illegal and that the staff can look into it if they want. Who knows, maybe the reported incidents would drop by a big number and the time you had to explain to people why scamming isn't illegal you could use the time to actually look into the cases where someone was scammed. I don't know, just speculation. Either way, not having scamming even against the rules doesn't make any sense. Not every wrongdoer faces punishments in real life but the fact something is illegal and that they may suffer consequences for it does limit people from doing bad stuff.

I am not sure if this is something I have ever said before but I dont mind repeating myself. The most common scam that players fall victim to is the trade evolution scam. For me, speaking independently of staff, I do wish that there was an NPC in existence to help players evolve their Pokemon. I've always envisioned a helpful character in every Pokemon centre that if you talk to with a trade evo Pokemon in your party it will give you the option to evolve it. I think that if we had something like this, incidences of scams would drop immensely. I do understand that this is an MMO and things like trade evolutions encourage communication with fellow players but it is never a nice experience to be a new player and have this happen to you.
