    UPDATE: Lots of bugs and compatibility error fixes. There are still some known compatibility bugs that I'm working through. To update the tool, it's the exact same process as the original install, except this time it will ask you if you want to "replace files", for this select "replace all files". CHANGELOG (v1.0.2): Settings Panel should now be more manageable on smaller displays (crops size and is scrollable) Included a "default 2x" theme, which should be better for 4k displays (the pokemon icons on expanded mode will still look small, I'll fix this in a later update; and the settings panel may still be small). ***Custom strings are now compatible with the tool*** - some custom strings will throw an error, but my tool will tell you why that custom string is not compatible (has to do with custom "Shiny" and "A wild horde appeared!" text) The error where PokeMMO was reporting a non-existing MOD file is now properly handled and should not cause an issue The tool should be much, much better at counting all pokemon at 1.25x - 1.75x scaling Added support for Spanish ROMs Some things still not fixed that I know of: Not counting at all due to a gecDebug.log reporting a cv2 assertion error. Working with Nakkura on this one. Safari encounters not counting properly (this is due to "A wild x appeared!" text only appearing for a brief amount of time). Nidoran m/f will break the csv data dump (due to the special symbol), I will fix this in the next update.

    Hello everyone, I just got approval from the PokeMMO staff on Aug 30th for my app. (Latest update 12/4/2022) Please keep in mind this is a BETA release and only for Windows 64bit systems (32bit will come soon, and I want to get a MacOS version at some point). Expect bugs, crashes, it just plainly not working, etc.. I ask that you report these bugs back to me in the following format: Description of issue (what happened, what were you doing, etc.): Is the issue reproduceable (i.e. can you make it happen again)? Anything in the debug folder? if so please make a https://pastebin.com of the debug files Did the app spit out an error to you? (if so please screenshot it) What PokeMMO client theme were you using? What ui scaling is your client on? I may reach out to you to gather additional details depending on the issue. Want to make your own custom theme for my app? Check out my quick run through of how to do it KNOWN BUGS (not yet fixed in downloadable version): - Fullscreen mode unsupported at this time. (unsure if I will be able to fix this, as the Fullscreen mode for PokeMMO is not capturable, even by regular screenshot methods; and it prevents any window from being on top of it) Best suggestion is to just play in borderless window mode while using the encounter app. - Safari Zone encounters don't always count properly. This is due to the "A wild X appeared!" text is not up on the screen for a long interval. Currently working on a fix for this - Doesn't count Zorua species (will count as the species it is currently illusion'd as) - German ROMs do not count single encounters. This is caused by a typo in the single wild battle start text. Fixed bugs and update in downloadable version: - jre path location that exists in a personal user folder path will not work. If you don't see a black window pop up on startup, this is most likely the culprit. (prevents counting) I have a fix for this and will be implementing it very soon! - Settings page is too tall and doesn’t scale with smaller screen sizes. You should be able to drag the settings page up and down which should trigger it snapping to the top or bottom. This will allow you to access the rest of the page. Will add a scroll feature in the future. - If you use custom strings, my tool will not currently work for you. I am working on a fix. awkways has posted a workaround for the timebeing. - Certain pokemon aren't being counted, while others are (and I'm not on 1.25x, 1.5x, or 1.75x ui scaling). This is likely due to my program being unnecessarily strict on image matching when the font rendering is slightly different (due to anti aliasing or something). I will relax the restrictions in the next update which should alleviate this issue. Also check if your antialiasing is set to "no antialiasing" (in Graphics) and High DPI Font is enabled (In Interface) - The black window is still not showing up. Likely due to the PokeMMO main.properties listing a mod name that does not exist. A workaround on the user side can be to delete this mod name from the main.properties file. An code-side fix will be included in the update I will be pushing later this week. -Gilan

    This feature was removed as it trivializes the game's difficulty. "Switch" mode allows you to maintain a type advantage 100% of the time and bypass the drawbacks of powerful moves, all with no penalty. Although the free switch makes training weak party members easier, it comes at the cost of all storyline balancing and poorly prepares players for the postgame. The game instead only offers the "Set" mode from the originals as we'd like for it to be challenging. We won't be changing this, even as a setting, sorry.

    Lol I just lost 120k on Android again from this issue. Perhaps it isn't intentionally sadistic, I haven't seen the Android client on other devices so maybe the devs don't know how the interface looks on some? I do want to say that they've done an amazing job on all the cross-platform clients and it all works beautifully, as a programmer myself I am extremely impressed. So on my 2000x1000px android phone, not only is the GTL Sell dialog tiny, but the box to input price is actually smaller than the Sell button, and it about half a centimeter above it. In between is the Fee box, which is also smaller than the Sell button. Maybe on different Android devices this layout comes out differently? I know it can be difficult to design interfaces that look right in every display system. But on my device it's ridiculously hazardous, very easy to accidentally brush Sell while trying to set the price. Why does it even have a $100 default? Leave the price blank, so it can't be sold until the user sets a price (will prevent most mistakes and snipe griefing, not all). And please add confirmation dialog, that would prevent close to 100% of mistakes and snipe griefing (and further complaints). I'm not expecting interface to be fixed for every possible device, I really appreciate all of the hard dev work so far. See screenshot, it only just occurred to me that maybe this wasn't intentional.... (the tiny layout; now the lack of confirmation I still question... ) Keep in mind this is a touchscreen, my thumbprint is bigger than the price/fee/sell button all together.

    Basically a dark theme without many modifications, I just tried to make it as dark as possible without straying too far from the default. (As I lost the original file, I decided to remake it using the Extra Dark Theme theme as a base, and some parts from other themes.) I used elements from the following themes: theme : Dark Stolen Theme DARK THEME Extra Dark Theme Thanks to all the authors of the themes from which I took some elements and Special thanks to @budadeth for helping me fix some bugs. Some elements in the hp bar have become smaller, due to the new update, I intend to improve this later, but Raids and all other elements are working as they should. Let me know if you find any bugs.     This is a super important future, because its the only way to easily and quickly level up low level pokemons. I don't know why this is disabled but it's a common thing among a lot of pokemon games. The battle goes on without the game asking you if you want to change your pokemon!! We should be able to change our pokemons before the enemy selects the next pokemon in order to change it back once again and the exp get's shared. That is particularly useful for beginners since we dont have the exp share device.

    Always take screenshots. Mods are very strict about scamming so the other person always gets punished and you get your Pokemon back. Having proof of what happened would make your case go more smoothly. Also if you're really worried you can ask a GM to trade with you instead. Like for expensive Pokemons like 6x31 and such. There's almost always one in chat or in the Discord server.
