  3. Is it possible to have UT as it's own tier? For example renaming the current NU to RU (rarely used), and moving the viable UT to NU. If not, is there a way we can use the same usage system to separate stuff like Omastar and Kangaskhan from Squirtle, Rattata, etc on the pokedex?

  11. Hi there, As you can tell by the title I have recently been working on a UI Redesign Concept for PokeMMO. I have a lot of previous graphic design experience, and one of the fields I enjoy working on the most is GUI design. I really enjoy PokeMMO, however at times I feel that the UI can be frustrating to navigate, and although the current UI does fit with the game pretty well. I feel like it could be a lot more modernized, clean and generally more optimized for ease of access and better appearance, which is what I have attempted to do here. I first thought about making a theme, however after looking into it and reading some forum posts I realized that it would restrict a lot of what I was hoping to change, so I decided to make a full-blown concept instead for a new more engaging and pleasing UI. I would like to clarify that this is NOT a theme/mod It is only a concept and at the moment there is no way to FULLY implement this into the game. I am considering making a theme or possibly a mod that allows for the complete changes and additions I have made to be included properly, however that would take some time and research so I decided to get some feedback from the community first. Below are some of the screenshots of the concept UI as well as comparisons (mine on the left) with the current UI being used in the game. (I am in no way criticizing the current UI) however I do believe some things could be changed and optimized for a more user-friendly clean experience. The current UI does an amazing job at sticking with the classic retro Pokémon look, but in my opinion PokeMMO is growing into a more vast and complex game that incorporates the classic feeling of the original Pokémon games and also that of an amazing MMO and believe the UI should also branch towards that. Feel free to look through the screenshots, the UI is not fully completed and a lot of things are still in the works, (such as a Login Screen, Store Menu, Breeding Menu and more.) This is what I have completed so far; Pokémon Summary Character Inventory / Bag Hotbar / Toolbars Global Trade Link Trainer Card PC Deposit Box Party Bar Chat Box Minimap (New) Top Left Display Battle Screen I would appreciate any feedback/suggestions or general opinions from the community and let me know what you would like to see for future concepts! I am also considering on making a webpage of sorts that will showcase the full UI and allow users to interact with it as they would in game, this would help showcase the changes I have made behind the scenes along with animations and any new updates I make, let me know if that's something you would be interested in.   12. I did a quick search for a friend who wants to single shunt bagon with munchlax while earning some extra yen. After running some calcs, here are the details of what to use: Bagon: will faint with payday Lunatone & Solrock: singles encounters and horde encounters only faint with rock slide I recommend using the item wide lens to ensure 99% accuracy with rock slide.

  15. We have just noticed the "icons" folder for the counter has for whatever reason not been added into main build package. The counter will work without these icons, but just want look as "cool" lol. Please look out for an update soon on this thread for the repackage. Hope you all are enjoying the counter 😉 EDIT - UPDATE: The counter has now been updated with the correct icons and even resolved a bug noticed in collapsed mode. Please re-grab the counter by redownloading as you will now get the new version.

  16. So my idea is, to implement an item that notifies us when there is an event of any sort upcoming or underway, either is a catching event, a PvP event, or even swarms and phenos! (I'm not good at naming things, so just for the sake of easy reading let's call the item a Poketch for now on, since it's a familiar name) The players can adjust the Poketch to notify them of an event 60min/30min/10min before it starts. It will show a notification in the corner of their screen and go "beep beep!", which they can turn off by simply opening their Poketch tab (which is key item, and can be set on the shortcut tab for easier usage) and pressing the red button. The Poketch can also notify players of an ongoing swarm or pheno around the world! While i am aware of the TV announcements for when there's a swarm underway (except in Unova, which should be fixed in this update if this idea ever flies), i think that can still be improved! So, if you own a Poketch, regardless of which region you find yourself in, it will notify you of a swarm the moment it starts. It won't just tell you where to go though! Here's how the notification would play out: "Breaking News to all trainers out there! Something fascinating is happening in {region}! Don't believe it? Turn on your TVs and see for yourselves!" And then you check a TV in that region and you see the usual swarm message, telling you exactly where to go! As for the phenomena, once again, you don't need to be in Unova to be notified. The moment it starts, you receive the following notification: "Hello, everyone! This is Bianca, from Nuvema Town. I was walking by {location} when i saw a funny-looking {patch of rustling grass/shadow on the floor/dust cloud in the air/water whirlpool}, so i got closer to have a better look, and you won't believe what i found! Come check it out!" Some more info: • All notifications on the Poketch can be turned on and off at will, so if you don't care about swarms, or phenos, or events, you can turn off notifications for each them whenever you please. • You can mute the beeping sounds the Poketch does if you don't like that. • This feature would make it easier to know if there's enough time to check out an ongoing swarm/pheno, since now we can now know when it started. • This could very well be a gift shop item if sold at a reasonable price. I think people would be interested in buying it, long as it isn't too overpriced.

  39. Not targetting anyone, just quoting the information. Our usage system is just horrible. The UU metagame has developped for the past 2 months around the latest update features (Empoleon Roost, Espeon Magic Bounce, Machamp Drain/Bullet Punch, etc.). All the UU/NU movements are in direct response to that UU development that is now thrown out the window with the departure of Empoleon and Espeon. How can we possibly justify 7 usage movements based on data that is now obsolete. It doesn't make sense to have UU/NU movements happen at the same time as OU/UU movements. We always end up in these situations awful situations: Heracross goes up to OU, next month Gligar falls to NU, next month Heracross returns to UU, next month Gligar returns to UU. Jellicent going up to OU at the same time as Azumarill goes down to NU. It's not a surprise that Azumarill returns to UU the following month after its biggest check leaves the tier. It's plain stupid to have all this yoyoing going on. Tiers are supposed to reflect what is currently going on in each metagame and that's not what is going on in PokeMMO. There are countless solutions to this issue that have been documented, analysed and discussed over the past years. Please just change this awful system already. Any system that will desynchronise 1) OU/UU usage movements & UU/NU usage movements and 2) move up & move down cutoff points will solve the problem. It's really simple and requires 0 work for staff.

  40. 41st OT Shiny, 15h since last shiny, FINALLY after a month of hunting it Shiny Hoppip meets Shiny Hoppip: So glad I had made a Gardevoir for this, cause the little guy was lv 49 and knew Memento. And with this, now I've tested out that pop up message shows up even when trying to use all attack move as well as when trying to run away from a shiny in horde. GG
