  1. It is important and added a lot in the ways of indirectly telling a person they are being dumb without having to write an inflammatory post about it.

  2. For all those who complain, I am not an expert or a competitive gamer but always, when something new is implemented, you have to learn how to use it. The same when you play against, you must learn to defend yourself, that's what it's all about, it's a game. You are playing. Sometimes nothing is good for people, they complained for years about something that is now implemented and now they complain too. They wanted Johto? They also have Johto next year. Enjoy old man, learn to play, have fun, if you don't like it, go play Showdown. When you learn, come back.

  3. I think it is outrageous that a hidden ability as strong as Gliscor's Poison Heal gets released at the start of a Shiny OU tournament. It catches everyone off guard and favours the richest players who are able to immediately get a competitive Poison Heal Gliscor to get a huge advantage for the rest of the tournament as no one is supposed to be prepared to face it. Can something be done for the timing of the releases, like releasing "weaker" hidden abilities during official tournaments?

  5. I think they understand that but the thing is you can't prepare for something that wasn't a thing when the tournament started. Also they want to be able to get out there and catch these mons and can't during the middle of a tournament. I don't know what the solution is but I would hate to see tournaments canceled for an undefined amount of time.

  6. l was thinking the same that Cincinno might be a bit of a threat, but after calcing some stuff i have found some pretty good answers. Escalavier can tank hits if its physical defensive: 252 Atk Choice Band Cinccino Rock Blast (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Escavalier: 65-80 (36.7 - 45.1%) -- approx. 100% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery if it isnt banded: 252 Atk Cinccino Rock Blast (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Escavalier: 55-70 (31 - 39.5%) -- approx. 3.7% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery Bronzor and Steelix got named. Gligar is a solid answer: 252 Atk Choice Band Cinccino Tail Slap (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 65-80 (37.7 - 46.5%) -- approx. 3HKO Magneton: 252 Atk Choice Band Cinccino Tail Slap (5 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Magneton: 45-60 (36 - 48%) -- approx. 3HKO i might have missed some others but these mons popped into my head first.

  7. Got to finally post this little critter 🌠🌠 Pokémon Name: Pereniwee (/pe' reniwee/) Category: Malefic Pokémon Type: Celestial / Dark Pokédex Entry: Under a waxing blue moon, this mysterious Pokémon is said to present itself like a helpless infant to backpackers on the road. Said travelers are often found in a bewildered trance like state, staring off into space after the hapless encounter. xx

  8. You're completely missing the point. Why should a Breloom or Gliscor alpha, two mons which change the meta greatly, randomly be dropped in a middle of a tournament, where many players are unaware this happened, only to suddenly have to face one in the later stages. How can you adapt to this when you only have 10 minutes to prepare each round? A lot of the players are also teamless, so don't have the friends or resources to immediately prepare/use their own.

  9. I find it hard to believe Sharpedo can be considered UU material, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, Vaccum wave Blaziken, RKs, Poliwrath, Quag, Golbat, Quick attack Ambi, Eviolite Scyther, Mantine, there are tons of ways to deal with it

  10. +1. This isn't the first time thing like this happens, earlier we had an OU tour during which a HA Breloom dropped which completely sucked (probably not for Sweet though lol)

  11. Sure, Analytics give Specs Magneton enough wallbreaking capabilities to be considered in UU/NU with a choice specs. That is mainly due to the fact that if the opponent is switching out it will trigger Analytics damage boost. Here are some of the damage output I have considered for UU, but the point stands for NU and is actually amplified there. (Note : Hidden Power Ground would be prefered for NU) First let's look at the volt blockers with viability : 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 236+ SpD Flygon: 117-138 (62.5 - 73.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Flygon: 165-195 (106.4 - 125.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Solid Rock Rhyperior: 213-252 (95.9 - 113.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 220 HP / 196+ SpD Nidoqueen: 117-138 (60.6 - 71.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Nidoqueen: 157-186 (95.1 - 112.7%) -- 75% chance to OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Donphan: 207-244 (105 - 123.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Swampert: 216-256 (104.3 - 123.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gastrodon: 228-272 (104.5 - 124.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Hidden Power Grass vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mamoswine: 208-246 (112.4 - 132.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Hidden Power Grass (or Flash Canon) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Krookodile: 182-216 (107 - 127%) -- guaranteed OHKO Now let's look at mons that cannot prevent momentum but that would want to wall Magneton : 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Umbreon: 93-111 (46 - 54.9%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Snorlax: 105-124 (39.3 - 46.4%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gigalith in Sand: 152-182 (79.1 - 94.7%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Dusclops: 63-75 (42.8 - 51%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Heat: 73-87 (46.4 - 55.4%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-Mow: 65-77 (52 - 61.6%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Clefable: 120-142 (59.4 - 70.2%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Machamp: 118-141 (59.8 - 71.5%) 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Bronzong: 102-121 (58.6 - 69.5%) Now let's see Magneton damage output against offensive Pokemon known for having a decent special bulk : 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Roserade: 132-156 (97.7 - 115.5%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mismagius: 148-175 (109.6 - 129.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Heracross: 162-192 (104.5 - 123.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Spiritomb: 145-172 (92.3 - 109.5%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO 252+ SpA Choice Specs Analytic Magneton Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 164+ SpD Scrafty: 109-130 (63.3 - 75.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO I will not mention pokemon such as Feraligatr, Crawdaunt, Slowbro, Yanmega, Sigilyph, Durant, Vaporeon, Crobat, Mandibuzz, Poliwrath which Magneton has a natural advantage against and that aren't expected to be able to live a Specs hit anyways. As you can see Magneton is literally one of those mons that always comes out with a kill or momentum if it clicks the right move, which means it has viability as a wallbreaker that can pivot. Of course it doesn't have the best defensive stats and speed but it does have a typing that lets him come on a variety of walls and a few choice locked attackers (for instance it claims a kill if Krook locks in Crunch). Umbreon, Dusclops and Snorlax can wall Magneton but cannot really damage it while being forced into a recovery loop that just gives free momentum Obviously I did not put calcs for Magneton specs without Analytics here because it wouldn't be viable, as it misses most of the OHKOs mentionned here The most basic example would be against the most used Volt Blocker : 252+ SpA Choice Specs Magneton Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Flygon: 127-150 (81.9 - 96.7%)

  13. Hello everyone! This is my first post here. My pokemon is inspired by the japanese tale "Taketori Monogatari" and "Tennyo", celestial women wearing a magical gown called "hagoromo" which allows them to fly. Often depicted on clouds, like the other "tennin" (celestial beings). I thought this would be appropriate for this theme, and I hope you'll like it. ^^ (sorry for the bad english, I'm french) IGN: JuLullaby

  15. Hey everyone, I decided to make a beginner friendly guide to new players explaining the competitive impact of each new hidden ability. This will probably be eventually obsolete when it's replaced by an actual competitive guide when tiers settle but for many newer competitive players this time can be a complete mess and it might be difficult to understand which Pokemon had their viability significantly changed and why. The purpose of this guide is to help you understand should you update your Pokemon to have Hidden Ability or not. Pidgeot (Big Pecks) - Unviable. Not only is Pidgeot unviable to begin with, Big Pecks is just so incredibly niche ability because very rare moves are even dropping opponent's defense. It is hard to make a case it is even better than Keen Eye or Tangled Feet, even if you happen to be a Pidgeot fan. Nidoking and Nidoqueen (Sheer Force) - Absolutely role defining. If you paid any attention, you might have noticed that Nidoking jumped all the way from Untiered to OU/BL and Nidoqueen jumped from NU to UU and had its main role completely change. It is because Sheer Force is one of the best offensive abilities in the game, because getting that power boost over secondary effects is so useful. Nidos' movepools are also amazing and so many of its attacks have a secondary effect so they get boosted by Sheer Force. Crobat (Infiltrator) - An upgrade to Inner Focus for most sets in Singles, a downgrade to Inner Focus in Doubles. Having accessibility to hit through Substitutes and Screens is a great safety net to prevent getting completely swept by either a Substitute set up spammer or Screens Hyper offensive team and is often more valuable in singles than not getting flinched or not get Intimidated (as Crobat is already very fast and there isn't that many Intimidate Pokemon in Singles tiers). In Doubles, Intimidate and Fake Out is very common so Inner Focus remains supreme. Persian (Unnerve) - Unviable. A downgrade to Technician even if you happened to love this cat. Arcanine (Justified) - Unviable in Singles, has a very niche strategy in Doubles where you use your teammate to Beat Up Justified Pokemon to gain quick attack boosts. Rapidash (Flame Body) - Unless you play some very unorthodox defensive Rapidash set, Flash Fire is definitely superior to Flame Body on Rapidash which already is quite unviable in any tier. Magneton/Magnezone (Analytic) - Unviable. Magnezone and Magneton are about trapping, so you shouldn't drop Magnet Pull. Even if you wanted to pull off a weird gimmick, even Sturdy is better at that. Pinsir (Moxie) - Nice ability for Pinsir on a Choice Scarf set, which potentially could allow some late-game sweeps when HP gets low. In other sets, Mold Breaker is arguably better. Ditto (Impostor) - I don't probably need to spell this one out. Quagsire (Unaware) - Unaware made Quagsire potentially viable even in higher tiers to serve as a counter to physical set up sweepers by ignoring their boosts, which is nice. Qwilfish (Intimidate) - This hidden ability boosted Qwilfish physically defensive set in NU because Intimidate allows Qwilfish to switch in much easier against physical threats. Swift Swim still remains viable in low tier rain teams. Mantine (Water Veil) - Unviable. Rain sweeper Mantine should use Swift Swim and defensive Mantine should use Water Absorb. Breloom (Technician) - Very useful in some aggressive sets that focus on doing maximum damage with Mach Punch and Bullet Seed. For SubPunching, Poison Heal with Toxic Orb still remains useful. Sableye (Prankster) - Boosted Sableye's viability by A LOT in both Singles and Doubles. Having access to priority Will-o-Wisp, Recover and Taunt makes Sableye a very menacing wall in Singles. In Doubles, thanks to Prankster Sableye can be a very disruptive Pokemon by Will-o-Wisping physical attackers before they can attack, Tricking unwanted items on opponents, using Quash to force opponent's certain Pokemon to attack last, set up priority Sunny Day/Rain Dance, etc. Aggron (Heavy Metal) - Unviable. While technically Heavy Slam should do more damage with it now on average, still heavily inferior to Aggron's previous amazing abilities Rock Head and Sturdy. Roserade (Technician) - Very strong for offensive variants of Roserade by effectively boosting the power of Hidden Power from 60 to 90. Crawdaunt (Adaptability) - Absolutely game-defining. Changed Crawdaunt from absolute uselessness to one of the most powerful wallbreakers in the game. Staraptor (Reckless) - Improved Staraptor's Singles viability a lot by boosting the power of Brave Bird and Double-Edge from Staraptor and thus bumped it to OU/BL. In Doubles, inferior to Intimidate because Intimidate is one of the best abilities of Doubles. (Although Staraptor was quite mediocre in Doubles to begin with) Luxray (Guts) - Luxray used to be quite meh even in the lowest tier of NU but Guts gave it some potential to do something in there. Guts with Flame Orb is a very powerful strategy and Luxray definitely has the attack stat to start doing some heavy damage to its opponents. So ability is Pokemon-defining but can't guarantee it will be any great, even in NU. Floatzel (Water Veil) - In case you are using a physical Floatzel in a team that does not have rain set up, having protection from burn can be okay. But Floatzel is quite awful to begin with - the only reason before to use it was to have it in low tier Rain team with Swift Swim so in that sense, you shouldn't even use Floatzel outside of rain team to begin with. Technically can be useful but practically unviable. Lucario (Justified) - Same as Arcanine, in Doubles has a gimmick strategy where you use Beat Up on your own Pokemon to boost its attack heavily. Potentially strong strategy but very difficult to pull off and thus unreliable. In singles, inferior to Inner Focus. Watchog (Analytic) - Well, it is an update from Watchog's previous abilities (Illuminate and Keen Eye, both of which are some of the most useless abilities in the game). But Watchog is absolutely awful. Musharna (Telepathy) - Useful in a Doubles team that has lots of teammates that have attacks that target all the Pokemon on the field (such as Earthquake, Explosion, Surf, etc.) Will be updated as more HAs come.

  16. I saw your reaction to my post, and also saw you claim you're not an expert in PvP - after reading your comments please stick to shiny hunting. Steelix, Bronzor, Escavalier, Magneton, Gligar, Rotom (to an extent) to name a few on the top of my head. Agree - Sharpedo can be a great threat to offensive teams, but overall isn't too strong to be banned in NU. Cincinno should definitely stay in NU as well.

  18. Actually this is the best solution. It still implies that every player has to prepare within the 6/12 hours for the changes but it's better than having a mon suddenly be available in the middle of an ongoing tournament

  19. Now this I do think it might be a mistake given the amount of tools, sharpedo has access to, including priority which can negate some of what axel mentioned, paired with zen headbutt which can help lessen the burden vs poliwrath and golbat (and I'm assuming no need for that if they're jumping to UU soon ish), scouting tools that bring a lot of value to him such as protect, or even gimmick niche things like destiny bond. Not to mention it packs decent enough sp.atk to consider a mixed set, or even a sp.atk set to catch people off guard.

  22. Gliscor Poison Heal is released. For now ok for the OU. If they add new regenerator pokemons, such as Tangrowth, Amoongus and Slowbro, I think a Regenerator Clausule will be needed (Limiting Poison Heal/Regenerator to 1 per team). We have to remember, we play with a time limit of one hour, so I think the tier would be unplayable without restricting the regenerators, with a lot of game being decided on the tiebreaker, with the regenerator favoring whoever uses it in one of the two criteria (Total sum of % HP.)

  23. I am seeking donations for a LC tournament series, just good old regular tournaments weekly/whenever I'm free. I want to make them newly introduced HA themed, with prizes being : 1st place Perfect HA comp + maybe some cash. 2nd semi comp HA. 3rd-4th 200k discount on a LC breed. Might do some giveaways to new LC players too. The goal is to help people aquire new stuff while testing out new meta regularly. I can't really afford making a lot of them so I'm asking for donations, the goal would be 10M so I can comfortably host 6-7 of them. Reach me in Discord if u are kind and cool : Lala#5068

  24. We have on the forum several posts demanding the return of the Little Cup, one of the unofficial formats that the community loves the most, and which had one of, if not the open tournament with the biggest prize pool, the LCPL (Little Cup Premier League), with $500 m of prize pool on previous edition. The points that Gbwead posted on LC Club as what he believes to be (and likely are) the main reasons for removing LC as an official format: The LC tier kept exposing a lot of bugs that otherwise would be unoticed like dmg rolls, recycle not working, etc. Through those bugs, LC was making the game look bad. The LC tier had a lot of bans and even ability bans (AT & Download). Devs do not like tiers with a lot of bans. The LC tier did not have a large player base like other tiers. The LC tier needed to go in order to make room for randoms. The LC tier didn't have a very versatile metagame and was always defined by very high usage mons that usually ended up banned. Some possible solutions for them: Most of the bugs that happened in LC have already been fixed. The only notable bug (which manages to be noticeable in LC metagaming) that still haunts the tier is the impossible damage rolls. However, I already found out where the error may be, analyzed and put a possible solution and reported it to the devs at support.pokemmo.eu in the bug reports On top of that, the most likely problem is that tiers with high banlists are difficult to control. So a solution is simple: Leave the LC still under the control of the LC Club. If devs want to go further, remove the LC Club and create a new one for all unofficial formats, such as LC, Untiered (Can be divided into RU and PU), Monotype, 1v1, etc... What club leaders or moderators of the clubs will will do is notify the devs in case of Bans on the monthly movement thread when the next one opens (Example: A ban happened on November 16th. It will be notified on the first tiershift thread that is created, on this case it's December-movement discussion thread and will be applied when all movements happen) and they are applied along with the tiershifts that already occur in the official tiers. The reason why LC tier did not have a large player base is because devs did not give us LC matchmaking, so that's an easy fix. They will have a little playerbase on start? Yes, it's normal. But the playerbase will increase with time, espcially when most lucrative tours is on LC, so a lot of players will want to play and go for this prizes. Even praticing and understanding metagaming to play on Smogon, that again, the tours more lucrative is LC tours. Randoms has a large player base, so it's safe to say that LC will not hurt Randoms. The LC tier will certainly get more versatile and interesting with the recent additions (reactive gas koffing for example) and the upcoming ones. Discuss what do you think. This thread at least for now is only to make devs and players think a little about LC, not suggesting re-add it at least for now.

  29. Changelog: 20/10/2022 Balancing Endeavor no longer works against Alpha minibosses Timer Ball's price has been increased from $800 to $1,200 Alpha Swarm durations have been increased from 60 minutes to 75 minutes When fleeing from an Alpha miniboss, a 2 minute penalty for respawning now occurs Note, this penalty does not occur if you white out Changes Improved behavior for automated channel swaps during very high load times Previously, the game server would automatically switch players' channels under very high load conditions very often. This change allows a moderate overflow to channel capacity to prevent unnecessary changes (until an excess channel is closed automatically) Bug Fixes Fixed Gender ratio calculation for Alpha minibosses Fixed an issue where secondary spawns in Alpha Swarms did not have appropriate IVs for Shinies Fixed stat stage copying for Transform / Imposter Notes While this update improves in-game channel behavior, the game is still running at maximum capacity during high load times due to the popularity of the alpha swarm feature. Please note that players with active Donator Status automatically skip queues and receive privilege when logging in during high player volume times. This is not a new feature, but it's not normally relevant.

  32. I would like when someone consumes an amuletcoin or riches charm he will get a % bonus from a riches charm another player in your link consumed. Also if possible add bonus from each player in your link that consumed. If you feel its too much then at least 1 player bonus. please allow stacks to work!Nothing stacks despite that it has the word ''stack''. Right now your choice is only 10% total if someone in your link has used riches charm and you dont have active amulet coin or riches charm yourself. only 50% if you have used amulet coin only 75% if you have used riches charm 75% only 100% if you have used riches charm 100% the 10% is pretty much useless and waste of time when you can just use amuletcoin 50% for 15000pokeyen. What i would like to see is like this. For example i consume amulet coin i will get 50% bonus or a riches charm i will get 75%. My friend is in my link and he has consumed a riches charm so i should get a % bonus for being in the link of a player who used a riches charm. Can be 10% 5%.anything you feel is fair.Just something. So i should get 75%+5 or +10. It will encourage people to get into link while doing runs to get that small extra bonus. Right now if you consume amulet coin or riches charm u will not get any bonus from another player's riches charm. That means you can only get 10% bonus if you dont consume amulet coin or consume riches charm. That makes the %10 bonus useless for anyone who wants to farm money. With the amuletcoin at 17000 on gtl and 50% bonus all you need is to beat 4 gyms to get your 17000 back from the bonus alone.Thats 1gym leader every 15 minutes. With 10% bonus only you will be wasting your time grinding money when coin will give you more even if you dont clear trainers fast. In the past i suggested to stack amuletcoin 50% and riches charm which was 25% in the past.Since at 25% riches charm was useless.Costs more on gtl and less bonus. My suggestion was granted and made even better.Instead of stacking both and buying both items. You only need riches alone at 75%.Thank you admins ! Now something must be done with the bonus from riches. As of now it is useless. So why have it if its useless? Will encourage people to join link and do gyms in a group for better money. Only people it helps right now are mostly story players or something who are not using riches or amuletcoin and that +10% wont hurt. If they can even get lucky and get it from someone who lets them in the link. Donator status stacks with shiny charm so why cant we at least get coin or riches + a small bonus from other link players who used riches. 5% or even less if needed.Just anything to at least not make it useless. Please like post and vote yes if you like the idea.

  34. I think Cinccino isnt a pain for NU, there are plenty of mons able to stop it same just like Poseidon here, adding to the list people is able to use Aggron, Probopass any rocky helmet user would even give a lot of damage to Cinccino on a 5 hit Tail Slap. Could be a hell of a good late sweeper if the player playing against it chokes losing the things that handle it.

  36. There is no solution, they must choose if they want to go capture Alphas or participate in the tournament. They can't always do everything they want, sometimes you have to choose, I would also like to farm gyms while I capture shinys but I have to choose and I go in search of my shinys leaving gyms aside. The easiest thing is always to complain but I think it is time for them to see that they are doing important things towards the future and to value them, they complain about everything.

  37. This is exactly why I suggested that shiny tournaments would be postponed to after HAs release is over with. You can't expect from hosts/devs to adapt their "random" swarm spawns to tours and such, so the only option is to adapt tours to the situation You had an unfair disadvantage in your shiny finals against SweeT because he had access to HAs released that same day and during the tournament. Plenty of people tell me "It's just a tour, it's temporary, whatever" but I understand being frustrated if I were in your shoes ngl About the recent changes, I think Sharpedo / Gligar / Xatu should at least be placed in UU. No idea about OU but Xatu seems to be a good replacement for Espeon there so it seems fair to start it in OU

    More Flaming Skull Masks

hello, i have recently discovered that there is a very very very low chance that i will ever be able to obtain a blue flaming skull so i was wondering if you guys could add another color like pink or purple so that i can finally have a flaming skull. i know its a long shot and probably wont ever happen but its worth a shot, thank you ❤️

  42. Unfortunately I'm horrible at coloring but this is my entry. Name: Galastar (Gah-lah-star) The Star seed Pokémon Type: Dark/fairy Dex entry: this pokemon travels the known universe to plant stars and form new galaxies. When it finds a dying star, it will obsorb what energy it has left and leaves a new born star in it's place. It's tail can obsorb and form new star seeds which it leaves when planting a star. When traveling through the galaxy; the white part of the body glows bright while the black part of the body obsorbs light. This pokemon is commonly mistaken to be a shooting star.

  46. Here's my submission! Arscub, the polaris pokemon! It's a first stage pure celestial type. I based him Ursa Minor or the Little Dipper. The name comes from a character in greek legend who was said to have been turned into a bear (Arcas) and cub. The little dipper contains seven stars, and so I made sure to have seven stars featured in the design, the two stars in the ears, the star on the forehead, a hidden star made from the shape of his snout and scruff, one on his back, his ring, and finally the one on his tail. The greek legend mentioned earlier says that Zeus picked up the bears by their short tails and threw them into the sky causing the tails to grow large, If I had the time to draw it the final stage evolution would have a long tail similar to the shinx line. A lot of this pokemon is based off the shinx line as well as teddiura with my own twist.
