Why any showdown tiers? It's a managers worst nightmare - trying to find someone good when no one publicly plays showdown tiers is awful, often the competition is really low except from 1-2 people. And managers get their friends who only play showdown to enter and wreck some scrubs cos they are like a top 50 in-the-tier-player smogon tour winner. Why are we bringing back showdown? I thought this was dead and buried and I was thankful for it..

Player appearance loading was optimized during the latest update. Everyone's equipped items did not show to others until they were changed. This was one of the optimizations which let us increase the server capacity.

You can unlock this mode after you beat Pumpking 1 time, by offering it a Special Candy. The strategy I use is based on Snarl Hydreigon as a Minion cleaner and Weezing as a way to prevent their abilities to activate, especially Friend Guard (Pumpaladin) and Rob the Rich (Pumpthief), and 2 strong Assurance users, Tyranitar and Krookodile in my case. A 5th hard hitter may be added for more consistency at the cost of less particles per run. Items needed: xSpecials, Healing Items, Chesto Berries (or Awakenings), Pumpkin Cookie, xSpeed/xAttack/xSpDef (Phase 3 dependant) I reccomend stocking up with these items to be safe. Since this strategy relies on Snarl hitting, it can be a bit RNG dependant. There are some ways to make this more reliable: - on phase 1, instead of using Assurance with Tyranitar, use an x Accuracy on Hydreigon; - phase 2 is really dependant on Fever Dreams RNG, you don't really have time to use an xAccuracy, you will have to improvise. It's NECESSARY to end phase 2 with Tyranitar, Hydreigon and Weezing at very high HP; - on phase 3, you'll have to pay attention to what stats get reduced on Hydreigon. On turn 2, depending on that, you can choose between xAtk on Tyranitar or xAccuracy on Hydreigon on your Weezing turn. Keep in consideration what Minions get summoned on turn 3: Ghastly Vision will take Hydreigon (and the rest of the active mons) to 1 HP and some of the Minions have Priority: -Pumprince (Shadow Sneak) -Pumprincess (Vacuum Wave, supereffective vs Hydreigon) -Pumpthief (Extreme Speed) If Pumpthief is summoned, make sure to heal Weezing as well or otherwise it will get KO'd and Rob the Rich will activate. EVs IVs It is possible to complete runs with Tyranitar-Hydreigon-Weezing only as a core, with 3 pokemon to put particle on. I don't know consistency but I'm 5/5 as of now. Updated to speed up Halloween event. Thought I'd share my strings modification since it covers just about everything for endgame characters. https://github.com/Slyyxp/Shao-Strings These strings are compatible with Gilians Encounter Counter. I won't post every small update to this thread as I do them, you can check Github for that. But I will post batches of updates every so often when they have changed significantly enough. MC will be scrapped. I like the idea somewhat but I can't be dealing with managers forgetting to give MC early in the week and then asking for their lineups on the Sunday. I'll just be rid of it. I want to try keep it as just 1 showdown tier for this season

If there is a bug, it should be reported here. It will then get fixed. Yet, the only bug that is related to the mod has been reported here is Taillow. It has been fixed, just not updated. Love the guide, been having almost a 90% success rate using x acc/ x special at the start of phase 2. It's important to mention that when you get double sleep, use taunt to avoid whirlwind.. I didn't no this at first. I was wondering about the end of phase 3 when everyone is at 1 hp, I heal Hydro with both (unless it's pumpthief, I heal Weezing too) then use snarl but if it's Pumprince, Tyranite survives and then gets harvested by boss at the end which loses my stat boosts on Krook for the kill.. can I avoid this by healing Tyranite too? Thanks.

i can't say this publicly, but u may ask me in game but lemme give u sthg to calculate .. easy mode farm: 4 minutes and a half (let s say 5 minutes)... every 5 minutes u get 5 goodie bags... 1 hour gives you 60 goodie bags (don't forget , odds are sure, but just in case bring Xatt + Xspecial or ghost cookie if u misclick or sthg .. however u can always log out and quit session and restart .. but be sure that odds are 99.99% now make your calculations 1 hour = 60 goodie bags but what is sad, is that i can't buy anythg from GTL while fighting and that s really so sad.. cause GTL during haloween is a money making method, u can even make milions through this

Turn 1 phase 1 Pumpmage dodges and Accuracy drops Weezing. Then I miss taunt (provocazione) and it shows cheating AI, since taunt prevents it from using Trick-or-Treat (it somehow knows when you use it) but it reacts mid-turn to the miss and uses it anyways.

No, better hold up and wait rise. It's a high risk, but with high reward investement.

I mean we got a good amount of decent stuff, the thing is it was mostly front loaded so it kinda makes sense that the other stuff is lackluster. Kinda hoping for at least one more big addition near the end. Ideally Alakazam so offense has another catch all answer to many threats.

Yahallo its almost winter so that means its time for psl. Without a psl host or general thread ig this is the right section to post. So i have recently started playing tours on showdown and saw some cool ideas we could implement to psl. My suggestions: 1 schedulingsheet : a scheduling sheet where teams are mandatory to post their matches x amount of time prio the match. I know we have a scheduling channel but its hard to keep track when games. If someone do not follow the rules a punishment could be yellow card for both players. This is something really simple and makes it better for viewers. 2 midseason/auction/trades : more hype for the midseason auction let players draft from undrafted list. Do not involve credits with any player that is already drafted to avoid wintrading. 3 retains : add retains based on team colors on smogon retains are based on names what is not a bad idea having new teamnames every year is better. You could auction the colours between managers like last year and give priority to players the either managed or played for that colour previous edition.( we could use colours from previous season or implement it in 2 seasons) 4 pay recorders good : more hype imo nobrainer especially with a schedule sheet you can easily get over 80% recorded. if you read all this your truly amazing person sry for my bad english. Edit: if you put laugh emote or crab without any feedback i consider as trolling. I Love to get feedback because im sure there are people that disagree with me
