Hello, I am making this post here since it doesn't get any attention elsewhere. There has been many errors reported concerning impossible damage rolls that would indicate that this game is bugged when it comes to calculating damage. On this topic (and in bug report), I reported 3 different "impossible" damage rolls (first one since January). There was no answer from staff about it. Obviously, this is very problematic, because it affects every PvP game, and probably way more than what we came to witness. I just took 20 minutes of my time checking random moves calcs, and found yet another 2 errors. 212+ Atk Barboach Waterfall vs. 0 HP / 36 Def Eviolite Onix: 16-24 (80 - 120%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO Possible damage amounts: (16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 16, 24) 76 Atk Mienfoo Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 36 Def Eviolite Onix: 8-12 (40 - 60%) -- 12.1% chance to 2HKO Possible damage amounts: (8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 12) There are probably way more errors that I didn't came to witness because I didn't come across the wrong roll. All of them have been found at level 5 fighting, which is standard for Little Cup, a format played by community. It is very problematic that we have so many errors that may affect our games. @Rache @Kyu @Desu Are you aware of these bugs ? Have you even looked into it and took in consideration ? If report bug tickets didn't work the way it's intended to, what should we do as a community towards this ? Can we have more answers and transparency ?

I'm blown away by the animosity & the level of entitlement in this thread Personally I'm super happy about the state of PvP, the meta is way more interesting than on Smogon, many people just play sub optimal teams they like. Gallade is definitely not broken. I can't believe we are talking about banning Gallade when you have way more toxic sets like Rotom-Wash, Gliscor, Garchomp, where you cannot know what set they are playing & you can lose when guessing wrong. Like is it trick Rotom Wash or not, you can lose a mon on the trick, Garchomp can setup rocks, hit hard spe or phys or even hone claw, is Gliscor gonna sword dance or not, is it spe def or phys def or offensive. These sets have been around for so long, the Rotom core is still way more popular than Gallade. Rotom can easily end up doing trick + will o wisp & that's a 2 for one, plus volt switching around. Gallade is predictable & risky. I personally don't like Gallade in its design so it being banned is not what concerns me, it's this kind of mob mentality responding with the dismissive smileys all around, and overall being super whiny. Saying the PvP isn't addressed properly by the devs is just factually wrong given all the stats & the ladder experience. Again AFC Adinho is de facto the one person documenting the state of the game the most, and we recently saw Solar Power Charizard & Poliwrath at the top of the ladder. How are you gonna say it's not a good state for PvP

I apologize in advance for the bad english I would like to have a search function for teams ingame, something like a shield or something like the GTL. I wouldn't mind if a team had to pay a fee to be listed. The purpose of the search function should be that players who do not use/know the forum ingame can see which English teams, German teams, Spanish teams, etc. actually exist. Maybe you can specify which languages are represented as a team, how big or whether you are more focused on PVp or hunting Maybe even with the option that the person searching can send/leave a message to show interest or that the teams can leave a link to DC or something (similar to the team info)

If you really do have no clue then perhaps the best course of action is to refrain from making a post in the first place. Their criticisms is also fair and well-thought-out, although harsh in some cases. You may disagree with them which is fine, but don’t go around and pretend everything that has been said was done in bad faith. If you didn’t bother to go through everything they said and/or try to understand then that’s on you and ignoring that on purpose makes you come off as dishonest and hypocritical. I’m pretty sure their biggest concern is more about preserving their legacy rather than the actual reward itself

Every season/ year pokemmo is gifted with amazing pvp players. I wont name them you know who they are. Unfortunately these players dont often get to play pokemmo forever. They busier irl and some pass away. So i propose rebattleabled npcs of those players be created. The npc will have the classic team that player used and most worn outfit. You can put these npcs in a new building or in random spots in the world or at the player's favourite location or something. The fight doesnt have to give any money as a reward because simply having them there is reward enough.

I think this prop is quite good, and many Chinese players will buy it. I think the effect you mentioned is also very good, perhaps other props can be added to achieve it

Friendly reminder i was player of TT for years, leading my team. We were absolutely worst at it, but we tried. Then i reffed, then I hosted. Its not like i just took TT as mine cause no one wanted it ^^. Formula makes it possible for team with no TT wins to win a year, but its so highly unlikely that i dont even consider it an option. Matter of opinion, to choose which one is better. Should have speak of formula sooner, guys. When - after 3 years - GB started talk about improvements, I argued with him, then we have found middle ground, giving more spotlight to wins. I might grind teeth sometimes if I hear same discussions 15th time with same arguments from both sides, but I did not tried to make TT bigger than it was because i wanted to show off some formula- i did it from never ending passion for idea of this tournament. Some asked for more spotlight from tts, i made general standings. Increase in prizes in meantime, then finally vanities. I would never spend hours reading discords discussions, pms, etc if I wouldnt care, so lets assume i do and work forward. So no worries @gbwead, I never take your arguments personally, and thank you for kind words. I will reach out to community about it, while fixing standings in meantime. For now, waiting for more voices about it.

I would start with joining a cool ass team so you can vermafk and chill. And then maybe spam the fishing rod every now and then and catch a shiny. The game can get stale in every area that you grind in. If you gym run a lot...youll get burned out with gyms, if you shiny hunt alot, same consequence. If all you do is pvp....eventually youll just get tired of being a pvp god Its the people that keep me playing here. Maybe find a super active team. I can offer a place in our team, NDGO, but there are a shit ton of super awesome teams if you just go through clubs or even the new recruitment section.

Please understand that the only scoring system that existed at the time was the one set up by DoubleJ. It was simple: 5 pts for the winner; 2 pts for the loser. That's it. When people disagreed with DoubleJ's scoring system, they created their own. That's what I did in 2017, I created my own scoring system for individuals. That's what Lkrenz did in 2018, he did the same. That's what Lifestyle did in 2018. However, no one fought agaisnt the scoring system DoubleJ made because it was straightfoward and fair. AW is an amazing team, the decorated team in the history of this game no question about it. Saying RNG/Saké won 2016 and AURA won 2017 doesn't take anything from AW. However, RNG/Saké and AURA fought hard to get the title of best team of the year. I don't think it's fair that years after they won, their title gets stripped away based on a new scoring system. It's quite sad really, it feels like spiting in our faces for the little we won.

I'm sorry but I disagree. Calling a team A team of year XYZ then changing it due to changed suddenly criteria, which never was part of the official scoring for 2013-2018 era is unjust as well. Then we would have different criteria for 2019-2022, then different for 2023 - its just a mess that Im not willing to introduce. The points system that was used to find winners in 2019-2022 will be the one used to find the winners in 2013-2018. Im sure some teams will be hurt, but some will be hurt no matter the decision. 2023 edition can still be won by a team who hasn't won most TTs during the year and Im not willing to change that either, and I'm sure we talked about it for ages now. The change to 15 points was about as far as I wanted to take it. Side note: If I count 15 points for win, and no points for 2nd round : AW: 61 points RNG: 49 points.

While i dont agree with being rewarded items/money for logging in daily i do agree with the idea of rewarding this kind of activity in general. They can do other things like : + Unlocking shortcuts to gym puzzels (As long as your daily login streak is above a specific number you get shortcuts for gym puzzels ->For Gym puzzels that currently dont have shortcuts) + Daily Logging streak -> your dark caves become fully illuminated /smog is cleared from defog areas. + The higher daily log streak -> Get priority log in when server is full.

Tbh i made this thread to see if there are certain things we forgot to mention to handle gallade or some people that can hard defend it in order to stay. Seeing this thread almost 3 weeks open, i havent seen anyone solidly defended gallade. i also agree slowbro/tangrowth wont do a thing to gallade as well if potentionally their HA are added. there are many solid arguments to nerf gallade by removing its abillity but nobody has yet to counter argument those.
