Hey PokeMMO community, I hope everyone is doing fine. I hope some of you are enjoying the latest event, "PokeMMO Shiny Wars!" that runs from July 22nd to September 22nd. It's been exciting to see teams coming together and competing to catch the most shiny Pokémon. However, I wanted to share some concerns regarding the event's name. The word "War" in the event title might be a bit misleading and could be replaced with a term that better represents the spirit of the competition. While the event is a team-based challenge to see who can catch the most shiny Pokémon, the term "war" can evoke images of conflict and violence, which is quite contrary to the fun and friendly nature of this event. I've also noticed some players wearing military hats in the overworld, which further emphasizes a war-like theme. This could potentially transmit the idea that it is not a friendly competition. If may I write a name, I think a term like "Challenge" or "Quest" would better convey the fun and adventurous spirit of the event, without the negative connotations that come with "War". Revise the Rewards: Instead of the competitive "who can catch the most" format, we could reward players for the sheer act of participating. Perhaps every player who catches a shiny could receive a "Certificate of Sparkle Appreciation." This way, everyone feels like a winner, and there’s no pressure or semblance of rivalry. Modify In-Game Apparel: The military hats might indeed be sending mixed signals. Let’s replace them with more whimsical and friendly headgear. Imagine players donning "Rainbow Unicorn Horns" or "Fluffy Bunny Ears." These would not only promote a more peaceful atmosphere but also add a touch of fun and fantasy to our game world. Adjust the Language: We should be cautious with all competitive language. Instead of "teams" and "competition," we could use "friend groups" and "celebration." Team [Mr]'s Shiny War 7.0: Pikachu Vs. Meowth Seventh Edition of the legendary bi-annual [Mr] team shiny war Event (This event is for in-game [Mr] Members only and NOT open to the general public) (Thanks JMmainard for the artwork @JMmainard) Team [Mr] is hosting the 7th edition of our legendary bi-annual SHINY WAR event for all of our (in-game) team's shiny hunting members to join. This is a 1 week long, 2-team, group shiny race. Every player wishing to participate can sign up, and their IGN will be noted down and then drafted to 1 of 2 groups/teams on the day that the event starts. Each shiny found during the week long event will gain points for that player's team, and at the end of the week, the team with the most points wins! I completely agree with Michele about the importance of not using the word "war" in a game as friendly as PokeMMO. PokeMMO is an environment where players from all over the world come together to share their adventures, exchange experiences and, above all, have fun. The word "war" carries connotations of conflict and destruction, something that goes completely against the collaborative and friendly spirit that defines the PokeMMO community. Instead, we should celebrate the camaraderie and sportsmanship that permeates every coaching encounter. Shiny hunters, in particular, deserve special mention. These dedicated trainers spend hours, days, and even weeks searching for Pokémon with rare colors, driven by passion and patience. The search for shinies is not just an in-game activity, but a true art that requires strategy, perseverance and, often, a good dose of luck. Each shiny found is a personal victory, a trophy that symbolizes dedication and love for the game. Additionally, the shiny hunter community is known for its generosity and willingness to help other players. They share tips, strategies, and even their own Pokémon to help other trainers achieve their goals. Alright, listen up, pasta enthusiast. I have a bone to pick with the entire noodle industry. Normal-sized noodles are completely useless for typing words. And yes, I’m talking linguine, spaghetti, fettuccine—all of them. Here’s the cold, hard truth, backed by math. The average noodle is about 2mm in diameter. The average keyboard key is approximately 1.5cm². This means a single noodle only covers about 1/75th of a key. Imagine trying to hit individual keys with something that thin—it’s like trying to write an essay with a toothpick dipped in soy sauce! Let’s do some more math. The average word is about 5 characters long. To type out a single word with normal-sized noodles, you'd need a precision of about 0.03mm per keystroke. That’s smaller than the thickness of human hair! And that’s without even considering the space bar. It’s physically impossible unless you’re some kind of noodle-wielding ninja. Therefore, I propose we start making keyboard-friendly noodles. We're talking a solid 1.5cm in diameter, perfect for mashing those keys with noodle power. In conclusion, normal-sized noodles are a disgrace to noodle-kind when it comes to typing. Let's demand better from our pasta producers. The future of noodle-based communication depends on it!

Everything was fine yesterday, so this may be due to channel volume, but I keep getting stuck on the Canalave Gym elevators. This has happened several times today on various elevators in the gym. It's pretty self-explanatory, Make it so I can have My teleport & Fly ocarina on all characters in my account, and not me having to buy each one seperatley, or using an actual tm slave, which is such a waste of a party slot for people doing certain things. HM's Such as fly and moves like teleport are very frustrating to use in the storyline, And it makes it even more frustrating having to need them. I hope my point goes through.

For now, Every single way is slow and mediocre, Why do we need to do single encounters, And hope for a chance to find hordes?!?
