SpoilerYour job? To predict (5 players per manager) which players get sold to which manager! You'll be scored from 0-40 based on how many you get correct, and the highest score (post auction) gets 1M. In the event of a tie, the first poster wins the money. Managers can participate (up to you if you want to reveal picks), and each team must have at least one player signed up each of the 5 tiers (OU/UU/NU/LC/DUBS). Other than that, glhf and maybe you can influence what goes down in the real auction ?

Regardless on how the multiplier for winning works (if the 2x is applied just once despite a player winning twice), you're still definitely crippling a player who you know doesn't play tournaments by potentially nullifying the fact that he won this event 2/2. I agree that he needs to have a serious signup to be scored at all, but there obviously isn't any point in doing so if you're either going to give him an automatic 0 or halve him into C-D range, where you have the autonomy to pick anyone "scored" above him.

Motivation: Statistically, I’m aware I’m probably in the lowest tier because I currently exclusively play scavenger hunts (<winning an official shiny in the time it takes to sign up for an official tournament), and I was chosen to manage in the past but prioritized my own wins (most manager wins in PSL 12) to gain respect for myself over focusing on team building and cohesion, which I believe I learned to improve the following season working with Sebat (3rd place finish in PSL 13). With managers now being able to play and their games holding more weight than previously, I’d like to see what I can accomplish by combining the positive aspects from my experiences the last 2 seasons.
PSL seasons in which you participated as a player: 10, 11
PSL seasons in which you participated as a manager: 12, 13 (co but couldn’t play so yeah)

While this is a somewhat serious signup, I mainly wanted to bring light to @pachima's current scoring calculation. I'm sure he dislikes me every other day, but this doesn't take away from the fact that he's an excellent manager and deserves a fair evaluation while he seeks a 3rd PSL title in 3 attempts as a manager (name someone else who's won 2/2 and cast aside this easily in a signup for 3/3, I'll wait). Because of this, I propose to take responsibility and ownership of the x0 multiplier if it means he's not judged by anything other than hard merit, because he's clearly dedicated as hell and, love him or hate him, always finds a way to win.

If you have been around the PSL or WC discords in the past few years, you know that I'm the best when it comes to unofficial tournament drama. I will be always available when it comes to having a lengthy argument over a decision, making sure justice is served and corrupted individuals are exposed. I may also make a power point presentation while I'm at it.

I’d still be interested in a rejects group mainly because the “best” players aren’t always selected but rather the most well known. Yes, the two tend to go hand in hand, but there are a few exceptions. See every previous psl champion in recent memory, pretty much all of them succeeded with low credit high reward buys. And worrying about quality of matches in this mmo isn’t too relevant, I’ve seen everything from exp share hold items to using an electric move on a ground type in psl play. There’s also a level of added motivation to wanting to beat a “drafted” player that allows for some good competitive matches
