  2. There were no boots in gen 4, 5, 6 and 7 yet Moltres was a good mon. And so were Volcarona and Yanmega. This argument has to stop, sure it will not be as strong as it is in gen8 or gen9 few months back, but it still has solid arguments to its name that deserve to be considered for at least UU πŸ‘

  9. Weather is brainless by definition tho, but I don't believe it to be banworthy for now. Especially with how non weather teams can easily bring rain & sun abusers or sand setters. There is also a high amount of powerfull priorities available in UU which are generally fairly good against weather teams (Band Entei, Bisharp, Ambipom, Machamp, Medicham ...) and even some teams which can speedcreep and onehit Sun or Rain abusers (using speed boost options like Ninjask, or scarf Crobat). Obviously, it's hard to tank a banded fire move from Entei under the sun, but so was it for Arcanine and it never rly was an issue before πŸ™‚

The easiest way to complement your core would be using : - Kindra because it is likely the strongest Swift Swim user available and gives your team a great wincondition against balanced/offensive teams - Scizor because it also is a widely used Rain abuser that covers your lack of Dragon/Ice & Dark resistances. Scizor benefits from the damage reduction of fire type attacks from rain and his weaknesses are also well covered by the team's water types ! - Gliscor, Garchomp, Dugtrio or Excadrill, last slot or more generally a ground type with access to Stealth Rocks because you want to use at least 1 hazard in this type of team and you also don't want to let your opponent use Electric moves for free when using Rain Of course there are many ways to build a team so you're free to take another angle with your rain team. I was just trying to provide one of the logical solutions for finishing that Rain team πŸ™‚

  12. It's not a problem, Mkns' account value is many hundreds of millions worth. Besides nobody asked for your input on the matter πŸ˜‰ Besides they are still cheaper to perfect than male only mons, and not way more expensive than mixed comps, which is an absolutely reasonable price
  13. Hey there ! In my opinion, the main problem of your team is that 5 of the mons are playing a defensive/bulky variant but most don't have reliable recovery or not enough staying power. This team is pretty much guaranteed to lose against any type of stall and in the meantime, it isn't really THAT good against offensive teams since you don't use a Sand Rush user, so most of your team will still end up quite slow compared to the metagame. There's 2 way to fix that "overall" issue : - Either you add more survivability through wish passing or more regenerator users (i.e. Mienshao over Infernape) - Or you add more breaking power to be able to attempt to at least beat Balanced/Stall (i.e. add something like Garchomp or Excadrill, Serperior, Magnezone & more, you could also swap Metagross to offensive...) If we come to the specifics of your sets : - I think you missed Rotom's nature (should be +spedef, if you really meant +def with full spedef invest, could you explain what for ?) - Infernape kinda doesn't fit in the team, but it does a good work against offense I guess ? Wouldn't really pack enough power to wallbreak tho - Stealth rocks on both def Metagross and def Gliscor seems kind of a waste, you're basically having 2 mons doing the same job in the team, should use Spikes on Gliscor in that case - Assault Vest Tyranitar can't use Thunder Wave I am no OU expert (I mostly do UU) and don't know much about the metagame there so I can't really say what specific mons give you trouble, so it's just a general critique. Nice work for a first shot at a sand team tho, usually people make many more mistakes. Hope that helped πŸ™‚

  15. If you host a private team event I'm not sure that posting in the open forums is the way to go. You should probably make your own team club and post about the event there, or use your own resource like discord or whatever else you're using πŸ˜‰

  18. About the current bans, I think there is a potential to unban P2 and/or Shaymin for UU. I've not really been playing lately but it seems that the tier damage output has risen a lot since we last banned p2, and there has been a recovery nerf that makes defensive teams less potent and hyper offensive much stronger with the introduction of all weathers as well as legendaries such as Raikou & Entei. It appears to me as P2 should have a harder time switching in and recovering/pivoting freely as it used to be able to do
  19. Point being that Golbat can easily outspeed max speed adamant Machamp and wait for burn chip to put it in range for Brave Bird. I feel like Golbat is a great check/counter for most Machamp variations, actually much better than Crobat πŸ™‚
  20. Guys we already had this discussion countless times and the devs always straight out replied they wouldn't, because it would "ruin" the (shiny breeding) economy ... There's nothing to do or discuss about improving tournament rewards anymore. 😭 There's a real battle about improving ladder rewards imo but that's a whole different subject !
