When selling 5x31 IVs pokemons, do people prefer if they're also EV trained ? Or do they prefer if they have 0 EVs ? I've read contradictory opinions about it. Personally I would say 0 EVs is the best, since not everyone might want the exact same build for a given mon.

So I've seen a lot of videos or posts about how to make money in PokeMMO, and it's always kinda the same methods (redo battles, berry farming, dittos farming, IV training, etc.). But I was a bit surprised to never see any mention of trading, and by that I don't mean simply IV training mons and selling them on the trade channel, but actually monitoring the market to find interesting mons to buy with the idea of selling them at a higher price later in order to make a profit. The thing is that the GTL is at a central place in pokeMMO, and it's a free market, prices being set solely by and for players (I could sell my zubat for 10M if I wished, or my shiny metagross for 1k). Usually, in any game with this kind of free player to player market, a huge trading community quickly develops, because it is simply the best way to make huge profits on the long term. So what about this game ? Why doesn't anyone talk about it ? If anyone has relevant info about this, I would be more than interested in it.

You can do pokemon contests in Hoenn. Originally you could also do it in Sinnoh, but I believe it hasn't been implemented yet. You need a total of 10 ribbons on one pokemon to enter the building if I remember correctly. You can also earn ribbons without doing contest (go to the ribbon page of your pokemon data for infos on each of them).

Sooo, I'm going through the Sinnoh story for the first time on PokeMMO (done it countless times on nintendo tho), and when I arrived at Giratina I just smacked him (wtf was that fight btw ? were the devs on shrooms or smth ?) because I assumed you couldn't capture it. But that is the case right ? I didn't just kill this awesome beast when it could have been mine ? It also felt really reaaaally wrong, because in all my years on console I have never ever killed a legendary pokemon T_T

Alright, so thanks to your shallow response I understand that I'm literally quite likely to become fluent in chinese starting learning now BEFORE I even get a shiny from breeding. Which is kinda crazy when you come to think of it, but hey, who am I to judge. Thanks tho!

Hey everyone, fairly new player here. So I would like to get into shiny breeding as I was told it would be the best way to get certain shiny mons I seek. But I am a bit confused by it and I have some questions: Regarding the time, how much does it take on average ? Because if I consider the 1/30k chance for a shiny + the time for eggs to hatch, I only find myself needing to spend several hours a day ONLY breeding on pokeMMO, for several months, to get a shiny. Surely I must be missing something, so what are the tips and tricks to make it more efficient ? (Because then my follow up question would be, you know, how to actually have a life while breeding for shinies) Then the matter of the cost. That many eggs require that many braces and dittos, I have seen people talking tens of millions pokedollars for this. How to get to such an amount ? Berry farming, champions farming, or tournaments maybe ? Because all of these require additional considerable time of course. Or do people simply use real money to get rich in game ? Final confusion, how in hell do you get 3, 4, or even 5x31 IVs shines ?? (I've seen some) From what I understand it takes a whole lot of mons to get 5x31 IVS better mons. But do to it with shines you would need EVERY SINGLE ONE of these to be shiny as well. Just how ? Is it just luck, or do these only come as tournament rewards ? So here are my questions, but maybe it is just not realistic for beginner players to go for shiny hunt ? And maybe it is a several years journey to actually get the perfect shiny + good nature + good IVs pokemon ? I'm totally in the dark here so any guidance would be most welcome ! I see, but is shiny breeding viable tho ? I mean, do I need to get 30k feebas + 30k dittos to get one shiny ? (on average) This looks hopeless tbh

Hello there, new player here, and I would like some clarification on the Feebas case, for which I haven't found much info. I would like to farm a shiny one. In the original game there were 6 water tiles in route 119 on which we could fish them, using the super rod. Is that the case in pokéMMO as well, are there only 6 tiles on which we can find Feebas, or is it changed ? Also, I've heard that the tiles change every 30 mins, is that still true ? And if so, how in hell are we supposed to find the right tiles in time ? There doesn't seem to be any other players looking in channel 1 and 2 to base my search on. I mean, 30 mins seems hardly enough to test every tile on the route. It could be okay for regular Feebas only, but this seems to make shiny hunt just unrealistic. Especially with the astronomical 1/30k encounter rate. So what am I missing ? Could you explain to me what is the right way to hunt for a shiny feebas please ? Because the way I see it right now, it looks kinda impossible.. Thanks in advance!
