At this point just change your name Caio, who is going to participate in a tournament that is full buy in when you contribute nothing to it, and has a questionable host?

The party hat is by far the rarest thing in this game. It was the 1st limited item released. I believe it was suppose to be seasonal but it was so ugly it never made a comeback and was available for a VERY short period of time. I'll conclude with this, the majority of them which were purchased (maybe 90%+) and believe me there was not many, was gathered / collected by a player "BaronOfViridian". This player got banned and thanks to him, you're looking at ONLY 2 party hats existing.

Edit: You can argue the 255 mons are also just as rare because finding one with 255 on 2 stats is like finding a chicken with teeth. But there are players who have them, including myself and then there are players with shiny ones that have 2x 255. I know of 3 players that have this.

The rarest thing is a party hat, it has a whole population of 1 in existence, nothing else will ever come close

Well that's wishful thinking isn't it? I wouldn't consider writing prompts on generative chatboxes thoughtful or effortful. I get the appeal of using those tools to assist on stuff but let's not kid ourselves here, ChatGPT does a lot of heavy lifting on your posts it's not simply assisting anymore. I lowkey kinda hate it. Putting your AI slop guides on par with genuine helpful guides is big slap in the face to anyone who actually took time and effort researching, experimenting, gathering data, translating and writing their guides. And by the way, in your "guides" you tell people to interact with suspected bots- You shouldn't. People should stick to reporting them if they have reason to believe someone is botting and let staff handle it. Meddling with bots you're causing more harm than not. I think your heart is in the right place, it's just that there nothing much to be said on the topic than has not already been said.

    PokéMMO Intercontinental Cup 2025

    What is it?
It's a tournament aimed to find the best players in the World and promote the development of the Competitive in underestimated areas.

    Tournament Structures
We can host up to 6 tournaments, one per tier + a All Stars, which englobes all 4 official tiers + LC at once. Each will be a 64-player Tournament.

What decides which tours are going to be hosted? You!
We will have 6 Milestones: For each one we hit, a tour is hosted in the corresponding milestone:
    5 Millions - OU
    15 Millions - LC
    30 Millions - UU
    40 Millions - NU
    50 Millions - VGC
    75 Millions - All-stars

All Stars will take 1/3 of the Prizepool if it's set to happen, all others will share the remainder prize equally.

How we Play in the tournament?
16 Places will be invites. But unlike other events on Forums which dont use a Crystal clear way to decide the invites, we will. A Global Ranking is opened, and all players will get points based on their sucess in official tours. They being:
    4 Points to a Winner
    2 Points for a Runner-Up
    1 Point for Semifinals
Community Combat and Qualifiers to Seasonal don't count.
Season Finale and Seasonal Finals will count with 3x the value.
The window we will use for the tournament is 01/01/2025 - 01/07/2025.
32 players will be decided by Regional Leagues. The world will be divided in 8 regions:
    North America
    LATAM North
    LATAM South
    Brazil
    Europe
    Asia-Pacific
    China
    Africa
Each one will have its own league. 4 players from each league advance to the final tournament.
16 players will be decided by the Intercontinental Playoffs: 4 players from each league + 16 best players from rankings that failed to get a direct spot will fight for one of the 16 remaining ones.
8 Spots will be given to the Global Rankings Playoffs.
8 Spots will be given to the League Playoffs.

    Regional Leagues

All Leagues will be hosted at same time, and all leagues under Intercontinental Cup's Organisation will have the same format:
8 Week League Phase: You face the opponents in a Swiss-style tournament. Each round, you face the opponent 3 times, and each victory is a point. The score(how many Pokémon each side defeated) must also be written out.
Top 8 advances to the Knockouts. Top 12 qualifies to the next year's 1st Division.
13° - 20° will play a Play-in to decide which 4 players will be on next year's first division as well.
3 Week Knockout Phase - Standard Knockouts. BO3 in all stages - Semifinalists win spots in the Intercontinental Cup.

Each tournament will have a 100k buy-in, and they're treated as separated tours so they will have their own prizepool as well:
50% of the Regional Prizepool goes to that region's champion
20% of the Regional Prizepool goes to the region's Runner up
10% of the Regional Prizepool goes to the region's Third Place
15% of the Regional Prizepool goes to the Intercontinental Cup Main Prizepool
5% of the Regional Prizepool goes to the Region's Media Partners.
The Regional Prizepool is made up entirely by donations for that regions and Buy-ins.

However, not all regions will be hosted by Intercontinental Cup. If that region has it's own federation, and that federation wishes to host the regional tournament instead, they can contact the Intercontinental Cup organisation via Discord, Link at the end of the post, to do so. The leader of said organization will become the Region's Chairman.
Be aware that there is requirements.

Right now, Brazil is the only region who already has a Chairman: CaioXLive with his organisation, BPL.

    Main Tournament

    First Stage - Swiss Stage

On First Stage, all players will get 3 lives. They will play in 5 Swiss-paired Rounds. They need 3 wins to advance to the Knockouts.
Defeat = Lose a Life. If lose all 3, you're Eliminated

    Second Stage - Knockout Stage
All players will be paired randomly in a Bracket. For the first round only, players that finished the First Stage 3 - 0 will get the following advantage: They will be paired no matter what vs a player who finished with a 3 - 2 record, and that player will have to forfeit one fight(Will start losing 1 - 0.). If on All Stars, the player who had to forfeit can choose which tier he wanna forfeit.
Bo5 on the Round of 32, Bo5 if on all stars, else Bo3, on the Round of 16 onwards.

    Special Considerations and Rules:
All Announcements will be done through Discord and it will be the main way of Contact. If two different decisions are shown off, what is inside the official discord is what takes priority.
Players may only compete if they're in their Nation's respective tournament. If not, they will be blocked from competing even if they have secured a spot via Rankings.
(Don't worry tho, federations are prevented from blockading people from competing unless the Intercontinental Cup decided to Ban that said person as well.)
If a player get the spot for the tournament in multiple ways, the following list is the priority:
    Global Rankings
    League Direct Spot
    Global Rankings Playoffs
    League Playoffs
You get the highest spot in the list, and the other is redistributed in the same place as you got it.(Global Rankings Playoffs spots may be given only on Global Rankings.)

After zong and raikou left, togekiss will indeed become a problem.

As of now, there are actually some solutions to deal with togekiss.

Some combinations are worth trying, such as HA umbreon, and carry batton pass, also TP bliss; so that your CB entei can be swapped in.

Gigalith, Rotom, and Bisharp mentioned by scott above can be used as checks, and togekiss has a way to beat all potential checks, but it cannot beat all checks at the same time.

Going back to OU in 2020, looking at UU now, Jolteon and Timid Milotic might become options as hard counter. This sounds stupid, but I think this may bring changes. For example, because of Lucario, some players began to carry rotom ghost, and eventually because of UU's usage rate, rotom left NU, and also created a rotom-free environment for NU for a period of time, which is fresh.

I think Togekiss can still be retained for a while, at least it is not as perfect as Lucario. it is weak to rocks, has a basic speed of 80, it has serveral checks. Lastly togekiss needs a lot of luck to play.
