caioxlive13 got a reaction from Tajo10 in Support KnowledgebaseA question: if some player would like to add a new language to support knowledge or simply improve a translation from a existing language, is some way to do and if yes, how we can help?(if needed we could provide prints to guide novices about when they need to go.)

caioxlive13 got a reaction from salamabici in Speed Up Battles (v2.0)Really some players explained. The impact on economy could be a big deal because it will be quicker to found a lot of hordes, and shinys in consequence.
The only way i would like this implemented is plain and simple: Accelerate all battle animations and texts by 25%(1.25x speed helps a bit and would not broke) for everyone, not for donors-only.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from heppaistoss in [PVP] Teambuilding Guide "1.0"A piece of advice for newbies on using HOs/BOs, based on my experience, is to use an "Wild Card" mon when you can. Basically, some unexpected mon, or unexpected move on a common mon. Don't abuse and place too many wilds, so the team is not weakened. You can do this to all teams, but Balance and Stalls usually take long to win, and you by placing an wild is giving up of something better for the long-term. Offensive, however, abuse that because if you kill the right mon with the wild, let's say Kill an Skarmory using an Flamethrower nite, you'll have an easier time sweeping the opponent. And due to the suprise factor, usually you're getting the kill.
How do i know which wild should i use? You play with an team without one, look for things you struggle the most, and think on ways to trap your opponent that use this against you. Here's two examples:
- AV serperior on an Hyper Offense. HOs tend to struggle vs Rain. So if you use an Hyper offense with serperior, the opponent most likely will sac pelipper, clicking U-turn, in front of it, so he enters with Kingdra on the next move and he'll most likely game. AV sets up a trap, if he does that, kill the pelipper with an Leaf Storm, then the Kingdra won't kill Serp if full life. Use DPulse, kills the Kingdra, then stall the remaining turns of rain and win. On past, i did that. A lof of players fell for it.
- Mixed DD Nite + Scizor: Nite + Scizor core can be really hard to wall, but one mon shuts both down: Skarmory. You can't really setup either since he can roar you out, and both struggle to pass through it's high defense. However, he has an weak Sp. Def and nite can exploit it. You can use an Dragon Dance, and include Flamethrower alongside Dragon Claw and E-Speed. Use DD to bait skarmory so he most likely stays, then use Flamethrower. If he use Brave Bird, he dies. If there is rocks before on his sides, he also dies. Anything else, he either give up their 1 HP skarm, or switches out. But if you put rocks later and he has nothing else to defog, skarm is now just something to be sacked. Pair that nite with Scizor and he can clean one of the biggest checks to scizor, part of the times the only thing able to stop it, allowing it to clean out the opponent once he has the chance to setup.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from HumongousNoodle in PokeMMO Type RanklistMan, that happens always with me, i can write an essay of 85 lines, they will search and quote only what they found to blame me, even if it's just one of the 85 lines. If they don't found anything then they won't answer. (Did you see the argument about Wish TP i did on April Movement thread? Since there was NOTHING they founded to blame me they just straight shut up.) About the moves i legit forgot about QD but there didn't change the situation. Bug is literally the Opposite of Ice, is good defensively but bad offensively(Ice is good Offensively and Terrible Defensively) , just have like 5 good moves to any offense and that's it.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from HumongousNoodle in PokeMMO Type RanklistShedinja has 0% usage(not literally 0 usage but last time checked has less than 1%) and Eject Button is a one time use. While every other way of pivoting has 1 reliable answer to prevent it. And when i say prevent is not like: Using chip dmg to make people think on switching, and yes stop the move as a whole from being used(Ex: Volt Switch is prevented by Volt Absorb and Grounds, Teleport/Baton Pass by Taunt). Remember what i sayed: U-turn can only be Punished. About resistances, I did recall of a good resistance Bug Has, not recalling if was Psychic or Dark.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from OriginalDodrio in The "hate" on heavy duty bootsThis is so wrong... If they ever release boots in the meta, TC can always ban if they see that became an issue. Bans are not a developers decision, is a TC decision. Devs may decide a way to bring a banned thing back but if TC says it's not sufficient they can ban it again. Is almost as if there’s a fear that by releasing boots, some truth about the meta might be revealed...
And you can't say that something is useless in PvE when it was released a month ago. Teams may be built using something released but it takes time and testing. Like Loaded dice: There may still be tests to see if it will replace Wide Lens on Route NPC runs with Cinccino and Ambipon(Although it saves time because with Loaded + Technician you use less attacks, the downside is that the miss chance of the attacks rises). Same is true to boots, there is NPCs that use rocks like Red(with Gliscor in the Johto team as his T1M) . But there will still be done a lot of tests to see if it's worth using boots to avoid it. It's too early to say that it will be useless in PvE and therefore a claim for the item removal is invalid. You can argue to it remain banned on PvP.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from OriginalDodrio in The "hate" on heavy duty bootsMan, please stop fighting for the stupidest comment there. Sorry for the mods but honestly didn't find a better term to use.
Its fine to ask that the item remains banned. It's fine to not want a rule change. But removing the item is a joke. There is PvE which some teams may use boots. There may be OU tours which are not scared and release Boots, may create rules to counterbalance them, or other metas that may tolerate them. Like, in the future, Ubers with the Summoned Legendarys. Or, currently, LC, which currently as far as i'm concerned, didn't banned Boots yet.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from YoruKiss in OU Tier Discussion Request ThreadPeople are failing to see exactly that. Their Dragonites they face must've been packing Leftovers and Weakness Policy because there is no other explanation. Like i said, once multiscale is broken, Dragonite become an immense target, and your Weakness Policy won't ever trigger because as soon as a Super-effective attack comes, your nite will be dead. And taking literally any attack on the switch-in, heck even a U-turn from a f*** Pelipper, is a problem because of that. Sandstorm active? Don't even think on coming. Rocks up? Even worse.
What could be seen is that set being paired up with Espeon/Electrode Screens, which would made Dragonite easier to setup(Espeon could even prevent hazards from coming on the field), but i doubt that would broke Dragonite. It could make Screens viable just like Ursaluna made alone Trick Room being viable in Gen 9 OU? Maybe. But no guarantees.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from razimove in The "hate" on heavy duty bootsI recall at the middle of the year one of TC saying that they wished to ban gallade, but devs asked to wait until Halloween since answers to it might come. But they had permission to vote before that if they believed their ban could not wait. Don’t worry, i'll hunt down that post and want 5mi if i found it.
Edit: Was not a TC member but Rache(Dev) itself giving the TC the greenlight to discuss Gallade at any time they want, but advising to wait halloween:
it still is what i claimed from a involved member in those discussions so... dm me later for me to pass the ign where you send the money.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from Cristi in The "hate" on heavy duty bootsI have an even better idea:
Or introduce a Broken Item Clause: Items there may be used but only once per team.
Weakness Policy and HDB could be introduced for the clause.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from TTVimjustbetter in Ho-oh rematch: Hard Mode IdeaThis is an idea for the Ho-oh rematch. You could fight him solo on a Normal Mode or in raid for the Hard Mode.
On the Hard Mode, Ho-oh would be a 5 star raid, where it would be... easier? 2 actions per turn and 2 off-turn status attacks, with the dmg cap at 10%... However, once the HP is down to 0... like on regular fight, Ho-oh would be reborn and there is where the bucket is kicked. He'd come back clicking a Sacred Fire on someone, which creates a Sea of Fire+, burning any consumable items. Also a Intense sunlight would be created, which weakens all non-fire mons by 10% and evaporate any water type attack.
The cap damage would be reduced to 7.5% and Ho-oh would have 3 actions.
This raid would have a 30 day cooldown and when beat for the first time, would grant Ho-oh permanently.(As a orb of course)
To fight, all Seen National Dex would have to be filled. Seen, not caught.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from YoruKiss in OU Tier Discussion Request ThreadIf 1 item was enough to justify a mon not be banned, AT/Shadow Tag would never be banned because "You can always use Shed Shell".
Ok, we have Covert Cloak but for Singles is still a niche option on the Itemslot. For doubles is Justifiable since Fake Out is everywhere alongside moves with secondary effects. But Singles has only few moves you're actually caring to use/resist due to secondary effects, either because the odds of the majority of the moves are too low, or the effect is not expressive enough. You use Shadow Ball because it's a hard hitting move, not because of the 10% Sp. Def Drop. And most of the moves that have useful effects are boosts for the user, not negative effects on the enemy, so Covert Cloak won't help: Fiery Dance boosting the user's Sp. Atk for example. Or Giga Drain healing the user.
Maybe Scald, Discharge, occasionally Hurricane/Fake Out, that you may aim to avoid with Covert Mantle, but that's it.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from Soulblight in The "hate" on heavy duty bootsI think the only ever condition to HDB have a place in our meta is if Knock off is buffed. And even then, it would be VERY debatable.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from razimove in OU Tier Discussion Request ThreadI already forfeited trying to convice people here. The request for bans are more towards personal interess, rather than the health of the meta. I already believed that with Gallade nerf when they instead of going with the ok nerf, which would allow it to do it's job but let it be acceptable enough, people wanted and got that TC killed the mon for good. Now my suspects were confirmed with that digglet discussion. Conveniently who are bringing that up is the old people who can afford an Heatran which currently are costing a Kidney. Digglet had endeavor for a considerable time and just now that it is brought to the table even though action on Dugtrio was done for a good while now? TC Members didn't at any point said that they couldn't discuss AT so it could be brought earlier if wanted. And they are mad when people use Facts to dismiss their arguments.
When people claimed that Heatran had Magma Storm which could be as uncompetitive as Digglet, they claimed: But it doesn't trap instantly.
People then pointed: Even though it does not trap, you are commiting to take a lot of damage if you switch out and lose the momentum unless you went to a Flash Fire mon, so you are discoragued to do so. They didn't properly countered that. If they did, it got lost in the 234 posts of hate.
Then people claimed Tytar was more uncompetitive with Pursuit because it pseudotraps things more effectively than Digglet with true trapping.
They claimed: Pursuit is weak if you don't switch out and could be resisted.
Then it was pointed: You are commiting a lot by staying. They could predict that and use something else.(Which is true: Let's suppose you has a Zapdos in front of a Tytar. If you switch you risk dmg from a Pursuit. But you will stay and risk a Stone Edge? Ofc not, unless you are dumb or Zapdos is on range of dying to Pursuit anyways. You're most of the time switching out and taking the huge dmg.)
Again, if it had some comment properly refuting that, it got lost on the middle of the Hate posts.

caioxlive13 got a reaction from Boojanglez in Ditto choice scarfI've read, idk spanish but the double switch in one turn already gave up that the move you used is Dragon Tail. That move has -6 priority, and the order for moves is Priority, then Speed, then Coinflip(50/50). Draco Meteor is normal(0) priority, so 0 > -6 , and therefore your mon would attack last regardless of speed.
