As there are a few people in this thread experiencing the same issue I'll post a (possible) solution here;
Spoiler- Download the Portable Client via - https://pokemmo.eu/downloads/portable/
- Extract the file (PokeMMO-Client) to your Desktop, then copy the ROMs into PokeMMO-Client/roms
- Launch the game.
This works for some people, if not I'd recommend ensuring that if you have installed Java 11 already that it is actively being recognised by your System, as old Java versions are known to contradict with newer ones.
You can do this by inputting the command java -version into your respective Terminal / Command Prompt.
If you get the message;
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
This means Java may not be installed correctly, I'd suggest completely uninstalling any Java version you may have installed;
Go to the Windows Start Button and select Settings then Control Panel.
Click Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel list.
Find Java in the list and uninstall it.Then install Java 11 (LTS) via this link (scroll to bottom of the page), ensure that the OS and Architecture match your devices.

If you get a response from the java -version command, this may mean that Java is installed but misconfigured, I'd advise checking this link for some help on what to do in that situation;

Wouldn't be able to tell you as of right now, I'll ask the Developers about it and see if they can shed some light on this, good question.
Needless to say, the odds of you finding one that JUST spawned are incredibly low, so there will always be some lack of conviction in the timing if you are actively hunting for Phenomena.

If it's not Feebas, Special = Phenomena. Bubbling water/rustling grass/shadows/dust clouds in Unova.
There are only 2 of these on the server, they exist for 10 minutes, then de-spawn and spawn in a new location after 5 minutes to last 10 minutes again. In return for them being rare you get better loot inside — a rare mon (some are exclusive to these) with higher than normal average stats and either a fossil or a mysterious gem. These gems can be combined with any type enhancing items, like charcoal, to get 5 consumable typed gems that provide a one time +50% boost to a move. You can also use 20 of these typed gems to change the type of Hidden Power a mon has to that type (doesn't need to know the actual move for this, it's permanent till you change it again or reset with normal gems).
Watch the global chat, add "pheno" to your chat alert by clicking the speaker icon in the chat box.
For Feebas — it's catchable in 6 spots across the whole river, so pretty hard to find. These spots change every 45 minutes. Some people organize raids to brute-force the river semi-regularly.

Hi there,
It might help to extract the client, using an APK extractor, or an easier method is to download the portable client and then extract that file so you get access to the sub-directories as by default on android I don't believe you do, Mods should then be placed (in an unzipped format) into PokeMMO/data/mods and then can be enabled via the Mod Management option while in-game.
