This is for those shiny hunters that really like the old 2D pixelart but still want to spice up how their shinies look.

The Chinese have a Shiny Diary section on their forums, and I was wondering if there’s a possibility to get it on the English forums. 
 
We already use the shiny existence thread as a sort of Shiny Diary, but it would be cool to see it as its own section. Thanks.

Alright, I see people are very emotional in this thread and I want to make a few things clear.
 
Your first punishment was a warning about inappropriate chat in June 2022 and later for spam. You proceeded to be muted multiple times during this and last year for inappropriate chat, including political discussions and racist comments. I'm not sure how many more hints you would need to be aware you should improve your behavior.
 
Instead of learning from the previous punishments, you decided to be an even worse person and add some "joke" about pedophilia in your team recruitment message.

You don't need to be very bright to realize that in a game where we have minors playing, we would not tolerate pedophilia, being it a "joke" or not.
Given your history, the severity of this message and the fact that you did not learn at all with the previous punishments, we made the decision to permanently ban your account. You are still allowed to play in a new account, which is as nice as we are willing to be for someone who claims to be a pedophile and/or makes "jokes" about it. But if you continue this behavior in other platforms or in game again, you will not be welcome in our community anymore.
 
We don't care where the person is from or how long they are playing, how much they donated or whatever variant you want to add there as an excuse or free pass for poor and disrespectful behavior. If they break the rules, they will be punished accordingly. Nobody gets special treatment.
 
The decision about this ban and appeal was made and the ban will not be reverted. Feel free to play in a new account respecting the rules and other players this time. Thanks!

Team [Mr]'s Shiny War 5: Aquaboy Vs. Magmagirl
Fifth edition of the bi-anual [Mr] team war event
(This event is for in-game [Mr] Members only and NOT open to the general public)

Team [Mr] is hosting the 5th edition of our legendary SHINY WAR event for all of our (in-game) team's shiny hunting members to join. This is a 1 week long, 2-team, group shiny race. Every player wishing to join can sign up and will be noted down and then drafted to 1 of 2 groups/teams on the day the event starts. Each shiny found during the week long event will gain points for that player's team, and at the end of the week, the team with the most points wins. Points per shiny will vary depending on how the shiny is found (single encounter, safari catch, 3x horde, 5x horde, egg hatch). We will be hosting a team draft for both teams 1 hour before the event to decide who goes on which team. The captains are going to be GingerMatt and OHJI. You may mail me in-game or via Discord to sign up to participate. May the best team win!
 


Point system:
35 Points - Alpha shiny (Regardless of encounter method)
15 Points - Egg shiny (or revived fossil)
7 Points - Safari CAUGHT shiny (fled = 0 points)
6 Points - Single Encountered shiny
5 Points - Double Battle Encountered shiny
2 Points - 3x horde shiny
1 Point - 5x horde shiny
+1 Point if the pokemon is also a secret shiny (ex. secret shiny found in a single encounter: 7 points)
 
 
 
Bonus Point Days:
For three days during this war, bonus points will apply for each shiny caught in certain formats/types.
Note: The dates are only based off EDT time (from 12:00AM EDT until 11:59:59PM EDT).
The bonus days during this war and their corresponding boost formats are as follows:
-July 24th: +1 Extra point for each shiny found via a Horde encounter (3x or 5x hordes)
-July 26th: +1 Extra point for each shiny found via a Single encounter (Not including Safari encounters)
-July 28th: +1 Extra point for each shiny found which has at least 1 type matching your team's (Team Aqua: Water & Ice // Team Magma: Fire & Ground)
 
 
 
MVP Awards:
At the end of the event, the players (1 person from each team) who got the most shinys or the most points will be awarded a portion of the donation pool.
(This is primarily decided by the team captains)
 


Rules:
--To sign up to enter this event please mail me (IGN: awkways) in game or via discord and you will be noted to be drafted to 1 of the 2 teams
--Only in-game team [Mr] Members may enter this event. This event is NOT open to the general public
--Players will meet at the Team Galactic HQ in Veilstone City, channel 4 (channel subject to change last minute) below the podium at the draft time (1:00 PM EDT on July 22nd, 2023) if they are online and wish to participate (in the draft).
--You do not need to show up to the draft to participate in the event, as long as you sign up, you will be drafted to 1 of the 2 teams
--Any shinys found on bonus point days (see above), get a +1 point bonus applied (from 12:00AM - 11:59:59 PM, Based on EDT time zone)
--During the draft team captains will pick from the list of hunters signed up to be added to their teams
--The event will officially start 1hr after the draft (at 2:00 PM EDT on July 22nd) and players will hunt all week to get as many shinys / points possible for their team
--Players may sign up to join a team after the event begins if they wish to participate and will be assigned to whichever team has the least # of players at the time to keep the rosters balanced
--Team members may vote to kick inactive players from their team (captains have the power to veto this decision) even after the event has concluded
--Shinys that were caught before a player joins a team or after they have been kicked do not count towards that team's point total
--Some time after the end of the event (at 2:00 PM EDT on July 29th, 2023) prizes will be distributed EVENLY among the players of the winning team, along with the MVP prizes
--MVP Prizes will be awarded to 1 player per team who either got the most shinys or the most points
--MVP Prizes will be decided by their team's captain
--Egg shinys must be a NEW SPECIES OT shiny for that person and bred from non-shiny parents
--Safari shinys must be caught to count (fled shiny = 0 points)
--In the event of a TIE between both teams at the end of the event (2:00:00 PM EDT on July 29th 2023), the event will go into SUDDEN DEATH, meaning the first team to score ANY points wins
--If team [Mr] is not your main account's team (if you have an alt with us) you cannot participate in this event
--Any player who joins the team between this posting and the event beginning must donate at least 500k to the prize pool in order to participate in this event, and cannot join after the event starts

Wasnt sure this post would ever be made, but, 36th shiny while looking for riolu,  I finally got it.

 
I started hunting riolu the 23rd of january of 2022 when I had 3,343 hours in game, I now have 6,558, thats 3215 hours that this hunt took.
Went through a bit over 1,042,284 single encounters, had 35 fail shinies in the process, and the 36th was riolu.

Thanks to the folks at @TeamMrfor not letting me give up on the multiple ocasions i wanted to do so, and thank you to the fellow unnoficial shiny existance thread enjoyers who would react to my phase-posts and give words of encouragement here, failing a single enc shunt 35 times was much less painful thanks to all of you. ❤️

Hey there,
 
So my Team and I would love to see a new added EU Server, with a low and stable Ping.
Low ping in any online game can give other people, who live nearby the current server location, a huge advantage. (for example: gtl sniping, egg making, etc.)
I feel like in the Year 2023 a low ping should be considert normal and is the industry standard for most online games.
