      This also wasn't an insult against Desu's intellligence, JWong was warning Desu that the IRC bugged and split off and had left him separated from the rest of IRC (Which was, by the way, a hilarious bug)

    I mean the game is in alpha why not try it out? That way you don't assume the pros and cons and get results on a massive scale to make a proper conclusion.

    You have to wait at least a day before a response what are you doing. Also if you wanted a shoutbox and make IRC relevant why not make IRC integrated into the forums instead of using a shoutbox. Unfortunately this idea won't happen for one reason and one reason only: Desu hates plugins.

    The only thing mods should do is block nudes, ban those who post extremely racial comments, and when fights get too violent. A forum is usually self moderated unless it needs to be moderated. Over moderation is too much moderation and by doing so you have an unhealthy relationship between those who work for the game and those who play or participate in the game. I do agree that moderators should be treated with respect but if they don't respect people's opinions it's very hard to do so.
