I don't want to be that guy but I recall the messy release of the anniversary event that was hype for March and we didn't see it until June after several delays. I'm not going to bet the farm that it gets released in ten days. Devs do an amazing job at what they do but they need to hire a spokesperson who only gives updates on development. I would rather them keep us updated on that rather than blowing smoke up our asses. This is hype The same way the anniversary event was hyped then delayed. Now if it is indeed released in ten days I will be.... Apathetic... My excitement went from "WOW JOHTO IS COMING" to "another region... Neat" because I'm used to devs keeping us in the dark.... I'm actually surprised kyu even said ten days... Like at this point just shut the f up until Johto is actually done... No more fucking guesstimates on when it's coming because if they miss another date I'll be annoyed even more than I am now... Last year I missed the bulk of the anniversary event because I called off on kyus word which was bullshit because it got delayed until June.

Why private? Give me like 30 min and I'll screenshot all my accounts out in the open because unlike some people I got nothing to hide or be secretive about. Show some evidence you were incorrectly banned not some screenshot of a mod telling somebody off because they lost the appeal and whine about it. Hard evidence like a mod explicitly saying something to prove someone is being falsely accused.

I operate two independent accounts one of which was created on a different IP address because if you know a bit about how IP works some addresses aren't static most are dynamic or at least I know mine is. Meaning PokeMMO had no way of knowing my recent alt was me. Therefore if your assessment is true... Should I not be banned? For suspicion of RMT even though I own both accounts but sent a shit ton to "a new player". So I've already done what you're asking me to do bro.

Moderators have the all seeing eye. They don't need proof of anything. They can SEE you. You know what you did and so do they. To ask for evidence is low-key an insult as if they are untruthful in their assessments of your deeds. It's an absolute insult to the intelligence of those who can see everything from the last time you used a leppa berry to your inbox to how often u lose and white out to imply they aren't keen and shrewd enough to understand when a trade is between buddies as a gift and knowing when something shady is going on. I have multiple alts and use them on the same IP and trade and give a fuck ton of Pokemon and pokeyen to and somehow I've never been flagged for RMT. Now don't get me wrong Devs aren't perfect and from time to time maybe they do make a mistake but I'm fairly certain these mistakes are far and few between. It's against PokeMMOs whole purpose to chase players away with weak and false allegations. Do you have ANY idea why they limit appeals? So that people who think they're smarter than the devs and mods can't clog up the appeal system when they have other PokeMMO problems and issues to deal with not to mention real life and finding the time to actually play the game. Thousands play this game... Imagine having 5 6 or even 7 people... To deal with ALL the issues plus some childish brat who spams appeals!? I'm not saying your friends are cheaters but I mean... The devs not chasing away potential income because they have a random uguu to ban folk.

I can't help but notice the abundance of people on forums throughout my PokeMMO career who come to forums to appeal a ban for RMT. So I'd thought I would take a few seconds to clue people onto some things they may not be aware of. Mods can see everything and they have common sense. If you're getting mailed shinys or a bunch of money for nothing or a terrible trade they can extrapolate RMT evidence from that. I mean If I were a betting man I'd bet they have an automated system that flags ridiculous or weird trades for human review. I would also bet that they have purposely set up honey trap accounts on all these MMO account for sale websites. Tbh I wouldn't be shocked to find out they have people paid specifically to sniff out RMT I've been playing for a few years now and never once have I been banned(as in unable to log in not a mute ban) or flagged for weird trades or whatever... Only captcha one time and then never again...Which leads me to the conclusion that whatever system they are using to detect RMT it's pretty solid. I think it's an insult to mods and devs intelligence that people come here and be like "my ban was a mistake!" Lol.... No no no see what you may not realize is that they don't always instaban you for RMT. Sometimes they let you get comfortable and think you got away with it then 2 months later drop the ban hammer and you think it's a mistake since you mistakenly think you got away with it the first time. Almost every ban appeal on forums includes the words "mistake" "innocent" "no reason"... Lol y'all sound like a bunch of inmates when you ask them why they got arrested. So if you're considering RMT to get a boost? THEY CAN SEE EVERYTHING YOU DO IN GAME NOTHING IS PRIVATE!!! THEY CAN GO BACK IN TIME UP TO AN EXTENT AND SEE WHAT OCCURRED!!! THEY WILL BAN ANY AND ALL ACCOUNTS LINKED TO RMT. THEY AREN'T STUPID. THEY KNOW HOW ALTS WORK AND CAN INSTANTLY KNOW WHO IT'S LINKED TO BASED ON IP. so in conclusion? RMT will get you RIP Edit: "In order to ensure the fairness of the game is maintained, we have diverted significant development resources to our administrative tools so that we can better handle this scale of cheating."

With the upcoming release of Johto there's been quite a bit of talk about features concerning the region. I've heard some rumors a few of which I lend credence to because the have high probably to be true based on current region features. I just made this thread to see what ideas or rumors you've heard or think will be in the region? To start... I've heard Kanto will be replaced will the new Kanto (inhales hopium)

Egg shunting all the way. Lures are fucking annoying it's difficult to even get a regular starter to appear let alone a shiny one.

Idk man I'm kind of split because last year the event could be done by one veteran player coaching 3 noobs and still walk away with a decent score. This year is awesome because I love being able to use my Pokemon but at the same time I'm not using just my Pokemon... I've had to cope with people using story mons with screwed IVs, people running HM moves, people dying quickly because they overestimate their Pokemons strength and to top it all off sometimes the Pokemon you need early doesn't spawn till later on. So I think I have to go with last year simply because it didn't require anything except that you listen and be coachable. This year you risk getting in battle with someone's Pokemon and it has one or two STAB moves and cut and strength smh

I wouldn't agree that lures are outright pay to win but I can understand that POV because while you can indeed buy the premium ones with in game money... It creates a sizeable pokeyen sink if you're shunting certain Pokemon which would be able to be better nullified if using real money rather than the various methods of grinding. So again... I understand that POV

I don't know if this was aimed at me or not but in retrospect this whole post is a non starter if we had some communication after the normal start time came and went which was my whole issue. You won't find one comment or post from me where I complained about getting the event specifically but rather that we were left to speculate, assume, debate, bicker and argue amongst each other on whether the event was coming at all. I just got a Xmas shiny in game on xmas so I was okay with whatever they decided to do either way but I had no clue what was going on and was getting good arguments from both sides as to why the event was or wasn't happening which kind of caused a bit of frustration with being left in the dark. In none of my comments did I attack the devs but I did raise what I think is a justified issue with being left in the dark. Did I jump the gun a bit? Yes. But my rebuttal is that speculation made a lot of us a bit anxious and willing to jump to conclusions because of the good reasons many players gave for the event either happening or not

Well I gave a more relevant and comparable example with the Sims and paralives above but the overall metaphor still applies even using those examples...My point is that the number one spot isn't guaranteed just because you're currently the biggest and best on the scene. Kyu may indeed not really care and that's not really relevant to my point but I know I would and many others would too if another game came along that rivaled this one and started to slowly overtake it as the best PokeMMO. I would hate to jump ship because of all the accomplishments and progress on my account but I would if they provided a superior experience.

You know... Block buster thought the same about Netflix... Mike Tyson was the champ until buster Douglas... And Internet explorer was the #1 browser for years until chrome came along. My point is that you never know who's in the shadows taking notes about the flaws in your armor and plotting to take you down. They may have had a ten year headstart and have a load of experience to back it up but that doesn't mean that the number one spot is guaranteed for the duration of PokeMMOs existence. Like I said bro they can afford to do as they please in the face of player dissatisfaction because they're pretty much the only horse in the race worth riding but if a legit Clydesdale shows up then the real race is on

Bro be honest... Do you patronize any of the other Pokemon MMOs? And if so which game do you prefer because I have a PRO account and IMO it sucks and everyone I run across in global pretty much has the same opinion. I wouldn't call having a game server and a few players "significant competition" but I mean if that's how you describe the other MMOs fine. You didn't even name the other significant competitive MMO games because I doubt you even know them and if you do I doubt you play them to the extent you play PokeMMO. All I'm saying is that if PokeMMO had a relevant contender for it's spot a lot would change... It's easy to be diante wilder until Tyson fury comes along
