After the release of Johto, I think we can all agree the need/desire to pheno hunt has skyrocketed and with that the chat spam as well... Easy solution; add a map marker/alert, just like how there already is for both swarms and alphas! The functionality is already developed and works well for both those situations, so why not add a third one in for the phenos? Since phenos are random as far as the Pokémon you encounter, could use a "?" or "!" icon or something similar to mark on the map what location/route they spawned, with a text banner along the bottom stating something along the lines of "a phenomena is occurring at <insert location/route>!". This would drastically cut down the constant spam in global for cut-outs and improve what is possibly the worst part of the OT dex grind.

I would LOOOOOOVE if they added more items AND increased the item limit! I've got my base looking nice, but had to make a lot of compromises thanks to the 24 item limit

Ahhh okay, thank you for the clarification. Guessing it was a bug I experiencing then. The reason I went looking for an answer is because at the start of round 7 my poke suddenly wasn't holding a sash anymore and resulted in getting OHKO'd

Now that I have your attention... I just have a possibly quite nooby question that I can't find an answer to lol. Maybe a bug? Idk lol. In Hoenn, at the Battle Tower, you cannot interact with your pokemon between rounds, only have them healed. Well I've been trying out a new poke using a focus sash and I swear sometimes I have another one equipped on that poke the following round after it was used in the previous, but then sometimes I don't have one equipped after it was used in the previous round... I've found posts about in the normal games single-use items aren't used up in Battle Tower, posts that in PokeMMO it does use them up and there's no way to re-equip them for the following round, posts that in PokeMMO it was updated to re-equip single-use items automatically in Battle Tower after used in the previous round if you have more in your inventory, but nothing that explains what I've been experiencing lol. Soooooo I've come to the forums for answers! 😄

I'd have to disagree with you there... When I first got into doing gym reruns I had a horrible time using the team I'd been using up until that point. Then I spent 47k (GTL pokes, brace items, gender selection) on breeding a pair of Typhlosions, caught a Torkoal and a Cottenee (evolved to Whimsicott) using a couple regular pokeballs, and there's my gym rerun team done. Making around 300k+ in like an hour and a half, daily, ever since. So yeah I'd have to disagree, it's very fair, easy and fast to get a lot of money in a short time. Plus there are other ways on top of that to make large chunks of money daily that don't take much time or effort at all to do.

LOL there is one gym in Sinnoh I refuse to do on my gym runs because 3/4 of the time one of his first two pokemon is a damn lvl 1 Aron and I just wanna close the game every time I see it! ?

If you're in need of a steady stream of pokeyen, complete Unova region as this gives you access to two giant berry farming areas. Very easy money and quite a fair bit, just remember to check on your berries occasionally (I check every 6ish hours), so that they don't wither up! You'll need to buy harvesting tools from Pretty Petal flower shop, which is south of Rustburo City in the Hoenn region, or from a farm attendant NPC in Mistralton City or Abundant Shrine in the Sinnoh region. You use these to harvest seeds from berries, then plant combinations of seeds to grow specific berries. As an alternative you can also buy seeds on the GTL. It's slow at first, but once you have a routine and both large berry farming areas full of plants, you can make pretty good daily income! Of course this all depends on what berries you're growing and what you're doing with the berries. When either selling the berries or harvesting them to get the seeds, you should always harvest enough seeds to replant your berry patches before you sell the remaining seeds/berries.
