  1. I think Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno would be cool “next”! They’re another trio plus Johto and Kanto are connected. I sure would love the Lati twins as well. These things are fun to think about much like what new alphas are coming! I have really enjoyed being able to get both Shaymin and Suicune. I like how Shaymin was available for a limited time since mythicals tend to be tied to a limited time in-game event.
  2. I was just thinking about PokeMMO and gen 6 sprites! To my knowledge the only sprites that exist post gen 5 are on Pokémon Showdown. Fans on Pokémon Showdown have created sprites; They have nothing to do with Nintendo. Also, I don’t think they any animations like the Nintendo sprites do. Perhaps a way around that would be to change all Pokémon to 3D renderings and getting rid of sprites entirely. I personally wouldn’t be a fan of that since I prefer the sprites over 3D for most gen 1-5 mons. Another point to add is that X and Y were the first Pokémon games with 3D graphics. All of the vanities are in 2D like the rest of the game. Either our characters would have to stay in 2D or PokeMMO would have to create 3D versions of every vanity in the game. As amazing as it would be to have more regions and new Pokémon I don’t blame PokeMMO for keeping their game gens 1-5. Besides, it really creates an “old school Pokémon” atmosphere that drew me to the game in the first place.
  3. They said they would add ~60 alphas this update; Does that include pre-evolutions? A bit unsure if “unique species trees” means ~60 evolution lines.
  4. Regenerator + Assault Gear Reuniclus would be interesting. Side note: Looks like you were right about Riolu! Woke up this morning and saw Lucario was the Sinnoh alpha and thought of this post, lol.
  5. I also think Sinnoh. Luxray was my first thought
  6. I love Pokémon and I loved MMOs when I was younger - This game combines the two & adds in some nostalgia! The grinding in this game always gives me something to work towards; My long term goal is a shiny Breloom so that will likely take hundreds of hours and millions in Pokeyen. I’ve also been careful about not burning out. Sometimes I don’t have the energy or time for the grind and that’s okay!
  7. While I see the reasoning behind this (trade evolutions can be pretty annoying) I think it encourages you to be more social. Even if it’s just asking for a mod to help you in global chat it encourages you to engage with the community (even in a small way). Since this is an MMO I think trade evolution should stay but there may be a way to make it more convenient; Like a specific section on the GTL or chat to coordinate meeting up for trade evolutions. There are times I don’t really want to go through that so I’ll trade them to myself on a second account; Not everyone has access to two devices, though.
  8. Adding new HAs 100% feels like the best thing to do but my initial thought was a bit pessimistic. Are we going to get enough of them in the next batch that adequately counter or check Serp? I can’t speak for anyone else but I know that I would be annoyed if we ban Serp & the newly added HAs (presumably in October) aren’t ones that counter Serperior. Hopefully the devs take PVP into account when they decide what mons get access to their HAs. I just don’t want us to have this same discussion in February when the events are over.
  9. Sorry I meant for Serp only but idk if thats even possible
  10. Would reducing the power of Leaf Storm to say 80 or 90 do anything? Didn’t PokeMMO reduce the power of Outrage? The thing about Leaf Storm on Serp is the +2 so I’m not sure if it would make much of a difference.
  11. What HAs being released would make Serperior less of a threat? I’m not very well-versed in the possible checks and counters new hidden abilities would bring. I hope that the staggered release of Hidden Abilities doesn’t mean we’ll have to figure out how to deal with a broken mon like Serperior each release.
  12. I feel like this would make defeating the elite 4 much easier than the gyms. Like others have said nothing would stop you from leveling up your Pokemon to 100 (which is quicker in PokeMMO due to hordes). With a halfway decent team that’s level 100 most players would likely have a very easy time. Not to mention that in PokeMMO your team’s healed after each Elite 4 battle.
  13. Have you finished all 4 regions? Even if you’ve beat the champion in all 4 there’s still the post-game locations like the Sevii Islands to finish up the story. If you’ve completed that there’s a couple of choices: 1) Getting into competitive & breeding Pokémon for the tier you’re playing (my personal favorite). 2) Grinding for PokeYen to get the vanities you want. There’s a money making comparison guide here that’s helped me quite a bit. 3) Shiny hunting (Guide) 4) Completing the Pokédex (we actually have rewards for that now) 5) Joining an active group to make friends and have a more social experience. Some players don’t find the endgame to be very rewarding; I think it depends on your preferences. If you only joined the game for nostalgia/to replay the regions the MMO features may be less rewarding but you don’t know til you try!🙂 (I may have left some minor things out but those are the main things players do after competing the 4 regions).
  14. That makes sense - they’re not very hard to get & it would get chaotic every 2 weeks when a different mon is flooding the market. I definitely wasn’t thinking this way when I wanted to make a Conkeldurr from scratch and I had a reward one with Mach Punch but it wasn’t hard to do. Now that I think about it this way even being able to breed a reward pokémon & not sell it people would (rightfully) still breed them into 3, 4, or 5 IV pokémon which would also affect the market. Thanks for explaining
