  1. Is the first game or game-event that i even see someone just saying 3rd place doesnt matter! And in all games when a event happens media partners profit from their own content with their actual fans, they are not involved with the event it self in this way ๐Ÿ˜‚ (Unless you guys do something along the lines of what @Poufilou said...) What you say doesn't make sense and doesn't happen in any game! In fact, the whole event doesn't even make sense when teams are buying the spot to participate, so discussing everything else is a complete waste of time. Good luck with this biased world cup for the rich pokemmo people ๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. When i said "pay to participate" it was because whoever donates more is going to get spot for world cup 6. Lol About what you said, having some incentive to media partners can be good idea, in wc 5 they are using donated RPs for triple threat event for example, but thats pretty diferent from giving a huge part of prize pool, more than 3rd place that dont receive nothing...
  3. You need to check closely what happen to all games or events that start to be pay to participate/win ๐Ÿ˜‚
  4. Because the point of this post is to secure the spot before the current event ends and not give anyone else the opportunity, nothing more
  5. I was being ironic. But as these rules show, a good chess move doesn't mean checkmate.
  6. Before anyone thinks about being a host, is thinking about ending this event, playing on halloween, christmas, new year, johto, etc etc etc, and even if someone wants to be a host after that, with a post like this and with this advance notice so earlier where "things are already created", they will hardly say so. Well played. You are a smart guy. Use this now to create rules as it should be.
  7. First point - Am I the only one who finds this post ridiculous? The current world cup is still starting the playoffs... 6 weeks or less to finish, is it too long to wait???? Second point - This year no one wanted to host the world cup and the community was already saying publicly there wasn't going to be one, and then and only then the actual host did it. (... despite no one wanting to host it, once things got under way, other possible hosts popped out LOL ). Apparently in this community they often don't want to do anything and are only motivated when it's to run over others, that's why this post is really being posted so early like no other event probably. I'm gona do a post saying im gona host next world cup then LOL. Or you even know if actual host is already planning that or if the host is already passing the tourch to someone else? In this WC, the seriousness of the event has recovered in many ways and because of that there were people already motivated and interested in participating again and eventually in being a host, and by making a post like this, these people did not even have the opportunity. Third point - I just read some potential rules that are ridiculous. Pay to participate event??? Prize pool for media partners??? World cup police??? Sign ups for regions, citys or whatever people want with no rules?? Etc. I think this game staff should seriously think about making this event official to avoid this kind of self-centered idiocy that comes only to step in others when current event isn't finished yet.
  8. Uchiha Pawniard by Lady Rosy ... just because i'm a HUGE Naruto fan... ...And this is the very first Pokemmo contest im in so i make it special ๐Ÿ˜ PS - Pawniard and not Bisharp because i thought that Uchiha Eyes would fit better (previously approved)
  9. Next time you can give me the pokemons instead of releasing plsssssssss, it's much less boring ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿค—
  10. Back to the bases: โ€œCybercrime is any criminal activity that involves a computer, networked device or a network. While most cybercrimes are carried out in order to generate profit for the cybercriminals, some cybercrimes are carried out against computers or devices directly to damage or disable them. Others use computers or networks to spread malware, illegal information, images or other materials. Some cybercrimes do both -- i.e., target computers to infect them with a computer virus, which is then spread to other machines and, sometimes, entire networks.โ€ There are many types of cybercrime and I don't want to talk about that. I intend to address those that I know have already been common practices by pokemmo players and have not been approached with due seriousness, namely Cyberespionage, Software piracy, and even access just to be a troll by disabling some things on the victim's computer. In any case, any form of undue access is a crime, punishable by law in 80% of the countries in the world, where there are departments where you can make a complaint and take the necessary legal measures. Regarding pokemmo, I don't think it's normal to have people with this history and where these IP's are not permanently banned. I have been in various gaming communities for decades and they are always strict with this kind of attitude. Not taking access to other pokemmo players seriously, even if it's just for trolling, only leads to these people continuing to do the same, or even others to do the same. My objective with this post is, first of all, that the game follows the measures that other games and gaming companies do and that are logical and expected. This game started out as something small, but it has grown and is now on par with many other games, these things cannot be taken lightly. Secondly, I want to address trolls who access other people's computers, either to steal data or to troll. What you guys do is a crime and just because others didn't do anything doesn't mean all people will stand still. Seriously think if you want legal entities to track your IP and have you labeled as cybercriminals. ACCESSING OTHERS' COMPUTER IS A CRIME. For all I leave Cybercrime Legislation Worldwide so that you know in your country the existing decrees of law and the measures to be taken. https://unctad.org/page/cybercrime-legislation-worldwide PS - Sorry if this post is not in the right place but I'm still not very used to the forum
  11. I think you really have to watch the stream and hear what was said instead of saying things that were never said or done. I think you really have to watch the stream and hear what was said instead of saying things that were never said or done. PS - If you don't know English, find someone who can really translate what was truly said, not a broken phone.
