  1. Hey Rross! I'm sorry for not being online much at all lately, life has gotten busy and I just haven't gotten a lot of free time is all. I'm fine and I hope you are too, I miss you too! ❤ I can definitely fix the summary page, the reason why they're so high up is so that the shiny sprites won't appear like they're half underground once you find one. So they either look funky in the summary page and normal when you encounter them or the other way around! I think you are right though, it's better to have them look good on the summary page than when you find them, it never occured to me. It should be an easy fix, thank you for your feedback once again ^^ Hi! Every version is standalone, which means you don't need to install all of them! The only exception is the icon mod, which only changes the icons. I have changelogs for every patch which are summarized in the OP, but long story short the differences are: All sprites are updated, except a few ones I like the older version of more. It also has more sprites in general. Septentrion's version hasn't been updated in months. The positioning and scale of sprites has been adjusted (and is still going to be adjusted further in the future). Septentrion's version has floating sprites and doesn't handle alpha pokémon correctly (iirc, it's been a while since I last run it) That's really it, doesn't sound like a lot but it adds up when you have 3k sprites and various versions to keep updated ;-;
  2. New MMM! version is out! Download Link Bigger Shinies Version 0.9.5: Darkrai sprite has been added! Parasect, Ditto, Misdreavus, Mismagius, Kingdra, Celebi, Lombre, Dusknoir, Garvantula, Klink, Klang, Klinklang, Druddigon, Feebas and Milotic sprites have been updated! What's next? A mega evolution version is in the works and will be released soon! (As suggested by @DarkFrost, I'm really sorry for the delay on this!) A back sprite "mirrored" version is next in the making, as it would be a solution for people that don't like the current half back sprites. (I'd suggest using @nutakuotaku's version as of now if you're interested in that since they did a really good job, go show them some love!) Personalized positioning and scaling adjustments for every single sprite (This has the lowest priority as sprites will be updated and changed around rather frequently for a while) I'd like to thank everyone that took part in the topic so far by submitting feedback and suggestions, keep them coming! 💗

The mirrored sprites version is a great idea, I actually was discussing it with a friend a few weeks ago (Darkfisher) as he has the same version for one of his mods and I'm gonna implement it to mine as well. The mega version was also requested and I'm gonna have my own take on it soon. Unfortunately I can't download your mod and I'm not sure how much of a problem the misaligned pokéballs are to you but it's the effect of using coordinates to align the sprites altitude. You gotta change the position manually (which is why sprites have a lot of transparent background space around them, among other reasons) but that also changes the position of sprites in the summary page. You might also have stretched HM sprites if you have trimmed every sprite (Not sure if that's the meaning of "Resized every pokemon according to its original size.", or if you mean you just gave every single sprite a different scale value in the .txt file) Maybe you already know all of this but it's stuff that took me a while to figure out at first and was of great help to me, so it's hopefully gonna be useful to you as well!   5. There's actually two discord servers and they sometimes use slightly different sprites. I've also deliberately chosen to use some old / alternative sprites for the mod. As long as you credit, sure!
  6. You can find the sprites in the moemon discord server, it's the first link on the official thread: I don't think there's any current plan for full back sprites as Moemon started as a GBA hackrom and I think it's very unlikely to happen anytime soon, unfortunately!

  10. So sorry for pushing an update so early after the last one but I really wanted to fix a few things I overlooked before I forget about them again! I also started working on adding the moemon icons to the mod, although the majority of them are still missing. I'll probably make it an optional standalone mod. New version is out! 0.9.3: Donphan, Huntail, Drifloon, Drifblim, Venonat, Venomoth, Milotic and Heatmor sprites have beeen updated! Serperior, Tirtouga and Carracosta backsprites have been updated! Tirtouga and Carracosta shiny sprite colors have been adjusted!
  11. It's entirely up to the artists working on the moemon project, so there's no real way of knowing that. They will he added to the mod as soon as they're available!

In all this time I've met a great number of amazing people, made friends and received a lot of help and support both in and outside the game. Around a month ago I opened a free shop to give some of that love and help back to people. In staying true to the spirit that drives it, I've decided to give away all shinies I come across while working on orders, starting with the first one! Anyone can participate and there's no limit to the number of people that can enter. Be mindful that alts are not allowed and you will be disqualified if caught entering with one! To get in, you have to write something nice about someone else in the comment section of this thread. It can be anyone from the PokeMMO community, and the comment can be as long or short as you want.   15. Ok so, I'm gonna talk about all the issues you've described one by one. Keep in mind this is my current understanding of PokeMMO modding and it's probably very limited - The sprites appear a bit lower on the pokédex I've been trying to fix this issue but it appears to be connected to the position of the sprite itself within the sprite canvas. The canvas of every sprite needs to be 96x96, if it isn't things like alphas and HM sprites are gonna break. Keep it in mind because it's important. So let's say I have a charmender sprite, and I align the first pixel starting from the bottom to the bottom of the canvas, so that there is no transparent pixels between the two. The sprite in the pokédex and summary will look wrong because they will be positioned a lot lower than they should (kinda like your picture, but even lower). The obvious solution to this would be to center the sprite in the canvas. By doing so, the sprite will actually appear positioned correctly in the pokédex and summary pages! The problem is that... it will make the sprite floating in battle! So here comes in play the coordinates file... you can move the battle sprites down to align them to the ground without making the summary and pokédex sprites appear misaligned... great! There's only one problem... since the pokéball throw animation is tied to the bottom of the sprite canvas, the pokéball will appear undeground when you throw it! From here, the obvious solution would be to go back at aligning the bottom of the sprite to the bottom of the canvas, but to modify the height of the canvas itself! that way you can achieve all 3 things without compromising anything... except wait, the sprite is not 96x96 anymore, which means alpha sprites and HM sprites are broken again! It's basically a game of compromise until I can find a different solution, but unfortunately nothing really comes to mind. If you have any ideas I'll gladly listen! - Backs prites are bigger than front sprites That's actually done on purpose. Back sprites are 1.3x times larger than front sprites. This is entirely personal preference, but I think most sprites look better this way. Keep in mind back sprite dimensions vary a bit from one another. I might make a 1x version in the future but it's gonna require some sprite tweaking as scaling also changes the positioning of the sprites themselves! It probably won't be too hard to make, I'll work on it etiher with the next update or with 1.0.0 Hi! That would be really nice, but it's unfortunately out of my control as I'm not a sprite artist for the mod and I don't have the necessary skills to animate them. It's all up to the amazing people that are working on Moemon, you can try making a suggestion there if you want but I doubt they'll start animating the sprites at very least until they're done with the normal spritesheet, if ever. Either way, if that ever becomes a thing I'll gladly transpose them in this mod!

  19. Version 0.9.0 is out! Doesn't sound like a lot (and technically wasn't) but took me a while to recalibrate all the sprites in order to make them appear right in their positioning again after applying the fix for alphas. The positioning of Alphas is still... floaty and I'm still unsure how to fix that. Still, They should look a lot better now! Changelog: The red glow around alphas have been fixed! Sprites of pokémon using HM moves aren't stretched anymore.
  20. Hey! Thank you so much for the suggestion. I'm 100% sure the sprites don't have any invisible pixels, the red glow simply happen around the edges of the sprites themselves. In case of the front sprites, the upper and bottom edges are actually used for the positioning of the sprites themselves. I tried using the built in coordinates system but it messes with things like the position of a thrown pokeball, not to mention that alpha sprites seem to ignore the coordinates settings either way. I looked into other mods to try and understand how they might have fixed it but to no avail. I also thought it might be a problem of .png vs .gif since most other mods have animated sprites, but I'm pretty confident that didn't make a difference either. I haven't really asked anyone directly because I wouldn't know who to talk to, and I'd likely feel like a bother doing so. If you know someone that might help though let me know! That being said, I can probably come up with a couple more things to try (and retry, just to make sure), it was set aside because there was a lot of work to be done on everything else. I'll definitely look more into it when I get some time! EDIT: Small update: a friend found a solution to possibly both problems but I need to tinker with it for better sprite positioning, either way it's pretty huge and an update will come out asap!
