    Functioning :

A team leader (or members with the proper permission) proposes a clan war to the other team

The team proposing the war sets a sum of Pokédollars to bet (or members with the proper permission)

The opposing team leader (or members with the proper permission), has the choice to : Refuse / Accept / Modify the bet sum

Members of each team will be able to activate or deactivate PvP mode inside a Pokémon Center
(A team permission must be created to choose which Rank has the authorization to activate PvP mode to participate in the Clan War)

And for one week, the 2 teams at war can initiate battles without refusal on the players of the opposing team with their PvP mode activated

Some ideas to limit spam :

You can only activate PvP mode if your Guild rank allows it
You can attack players from the opposing Guild only if they have activated their PvP mode in a Pokémon Center
You can deactivate it whenever you want in a Pokémon Center
When you are defeated, you are teleported to a Pokémon Center
You cannot attack players inside towns or Pokémon Centers

And for the distribution of the bet, it would look like this :

The two leaders (or members with the proper permission), choose an equal amount to bet from their own pockets
    Example:
    100k / 100k

They set the amount of the price of the heads of the members by team grade category, example :
On the heads of members with the Admin rank - 5k
On the heads of members with the Officer rank - 2k

    The war week unfolds
When a member defeats an opposing member, they win the amount related to the defeated player's rank
    Example :
If they defeat an Admin, they win 5k
The money is taken directly from the amount bet by the opposing leader (100k) (Or in the pocket of the member who set the bet at the start of the Clan War)

if during the week the entire 100k is taken from us (the total bet by the two Leaders : 100k + 100k), the war ends ; the team still in the game is victorious

Otherwise, the war continues. until reaching the 7th day of war and the team with the highest amount remaining in bet gamble is victorious

    Visualization during the War :

See the nickname above opposing players in the Clan War with PvP mode enabled, in red.
See the nickname above allied players in the Clan War with PvP mode enabled, in blue.
See a progress bar in the team panel with: The number of wins / The number of losses / And the remaining money of each team still in bet

Heard this asked so many times so im going to run through it all. You will need a pokemon with strength and surf for this.
Step 1: Defeat the Elite Four
Step 2: Fly or boat (via Vermillion) to island one.
Step 3: Go inside the pokecenter and talk to Celio by the big machine
Step 4: He will mention something about a Ruby, at this point you need to go to MT. Ember (also on island one)
Step 5: Defeat the team rocket guys off to the right of the entrance to MT. Ember
Step 6: Enter the cave and follow the path through
Step 7: Complete the first 2 rock puzzles, at the split road take the one to the left and follow through until the Ruby
Step 8: The pathway to the right is a faster way out the cave
Step 9: Fly (or walk) back to Celio with the Ruby in hand. He will upgrade your ferry pass to allow full access to the other islands.
    Enjoy!
As per a CM request here is another guide with directions on how to get the Sapphire.
You will need a pokemon with Surf and one that can learn Waterfall for step 1. After step one you must have a pokemon that knows Cut and Strength
Step 1: You must defeat the Rocket Grunts inside Icefall cave (island 4). To do this you must first complete the Ice Puzzle and obtain HM Waterfall at the end of the cave. Once obtained return to the front of the cave and use Waterfall on the Waterfall (duh)
Step 1.5: Head to island 5
Step 2: Go to Five island Meadow and defeat the Rockets outside the Warehouse to obtain the first password
    Step 3: Fly/Boat to island 6
Step 4: Head out East from the Pokecenter and Bike/Walk south
Step 5: Follow the path until you reach Ruin Valley
Step 6: At Ruin Valley take left path and follow it through, the two paths that require strength lead to HP UP and a Full Restore
Step 7: After following the left path you should reach a small closed cave. The door should have Braille on it
Step 8: Use Cut on the door (by selecting your pokemon, going to moves and clicking it)
Step 9: Enter the cave and fall through the first hole
Step 10: Follow the remaining holes in the following order.
    Top/Left/Right/Bottom
Step 11: Click the Sapphire, watch some noobish Scientist steal it. Take the stairs back up and leave the cave
Step 12: Head to island 5
Step 13: Cut through the Five island Meadow and go to the front door of the warehouse and hit A on it,
Step 14: Enter the Warehouse, follow the floor paths through. Upon reaching the end of the floor paths a Rocket Admin will engage you in a battle
Step 15: After defeating the Admin head through and destroy that pesky scientist.
Step 16: The scientist will give you the Sapphire, with that return to Celio on island 1 and hand it to him.
With those done you now have access to Cerulean Cave and numerous high level pokemon. Enjoy

🚨 New Feature Alert: Pokémon Search Page is Now Live! 🚨

    Hey everyone! 👋
I’m excited to announce that the Pokémon Search page is now officially LIVE on PokeMMO Help! 🎉 I’ve been working hard to craft a tool that lets you find Pokémon based on exactly what you need—moves, stats, abilities, and more. Teased way back in the first post, it’s finally here to level up your PokeMMO game!

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE: 🚨 If you’ve used PokeMMO Help in the past 2 weeks and don’t see the new Pokémon Search page, please clear your browser cache for this website. I’ve switched hosts from Vercel to Netlify to improve performance, but this might cause old versions to stick around until you refresh your cache. You will also need to do this on mobile and add a new PWA after. Thanks for your patience!   🔹 What’s New?
Move Search: Add up to 4 moves with live search—type a move (like "High Jump Kick") and get color-coded suggestions by type to pick from. Stat Precision: Filter by base stats (HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed) with "More than," "Equal to," or "Less than" conditions, plus values from 0-300—all in a slick, unified dropdown-input combo. Ability & Alpha: Search by ability (e.g., "Levitate") with a fast text input, plus an Alpha checkbox to include those special variants. Type Control: Select types with a visual picker—choose "At least one," "Exactly," or "Only" these types to narrow your results. Search and Table Filters: Hit "Search" to get a table of matches—Pokémon icons, names, all abilities (stacked), type icons, and base stats. Sort any column (ID, name, stats) up or down with a click. Reset everything with one button. 🔗 Check it out now: https://www.pokemmo.help/pokemon-search
This feature is your all-in-one tool for team-building, raid prep, or exploring PokeMMO’s Pokémon roster. Pair it with Capture Chance and Type Coverage for the full toolkit!

    🔹 What’s New?
Live Search: Type in a Pokémon’s name and watch as the list filters in real-time, making it easy to find the Pokémon you need. Catch Rate Calculation: Automatically calculates the capture chance based on Pokémon data, including level, HP, and status conditions. Alpha Pokémon Support: If the selected Pokémon has an Alpha variant, you can switch to its custom catch rate with a red aura effect. Poké Ball Selector: Choose the Poké Ball you want to use, with multipliers depending on factors like type or fishing conditions. HP & Level Input: Adjust the Pokémon's HP and level, or use the 1 HP mode to check the catch chance under specific conditions. 🚨 New Feature Alert: Type Coverage Page is Now Live! 🚨

    Hey everyone! 👋
I’m excited to announce that the Type Coverage page is now officially LIVE on PokeMMO Help! 🎉 This is a huge step forward in understanding type effectiveness and analyzing your Pokémon's strengths and weaknesses in battle.

    🔹 What’s New?
Type Selector: Input a Pokémon's name or select from the type images to choose up to 2 types. The types will be displayed, and you can manually adjust them if needed. Attacking & Defending Coverage: You can now see how the selected types perform in battle. Attacking Coverage: Check how effective various moves are against different types. Defending Coverage: Learn how vulnerable a Pokémon is to attacks based on its types. Dual Typing Support: If a Pokémon has two types, you can check the combined effectiveness of both. Interactive Type Chart: Explore a visual type chart displaying damage rates between different types. Hover over the chart to highlight the relevant row and column. Flip Typing Button: Invert the type effectiveness! For example, Water deals 2x damage to Fire, but with the inverse mode, Fire now does 2x damage to Water.

🎉 Introducing PokeMMO Help – A New Tool for Pokémon Trainers! 🎮✨

    Hey everyone! 👋
I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on – PokeMMO Help! A few days before the Lunar New Year event, I found myself wondering which Poké Balls I should stack up on for the event. While searching for a Capture Chance Calculator, I found some like DragonflyCave, but they weren’t really suited for PokeMMO. Caav had also made one that worked properly, but I found it a bit clunky and not as user-friendly, since it required manual input for every multiplier. So I thought, "Why not make one myself?" And that’s how PokeMMO Help was born!

    🔹What’s Inside?
Capture Chance: Find out exactly which Poké Balls you should use for each Pokémon, with real-time calculations based on level, HP, and status effects. Pokémon Search: Filter Pokémon by moves, stats, abilities, types, and even Alpha status – with a sortable results table. Type Coverage: Analyze battle effectiveness with a dynamic type damage calculator, including dual typing, type chart interaction, and even a flip typing feature.
    🔹Why You’ll Love It:
Fast & Local: Runs on local JSON files – no laggy APIs, just instant results. Live Search: Start typing, and suggestions pop up – Pokémon, moves, abilities, you name it. Customizable Themes: Choose your background theme or submit one via Discord. Interactive Features: Hover, click, and flip through type matchups – it’s all real-time and intuitive.
🔗 Check it out now at https://www.pokemmo.help/, and I hope it makes your Pokémon journey a little easier!
Feel free to join our Discord server to see sneak peeks of future updates, share suggestions, report bugs, submit your art, or just hang out.
    Happy catching! ✨

Hello PokeMMO Devs & fellow community members,

Thank you for another great Year of Events!!! Raiding has been a huge game-changer for many who have played this game for a long time looking for a true PvE “end-game”!!
(shiny hunting great, but running around in a grass patch endlessly is not for me)

I think we can all agree that almost everyone very much enjoyed the content that was released in the last year here!!! I love this game and have played it for a long time, but I mostly a PvE player, have been really enjoying the addition of challenging PvE end-game content in the form of Raids. Last year I took a long break after event season, coming back during the recent events (for raids of course). As this event season draws to a close, I need to ask a big question to the Developers if you plan on releasing any new content before next Halloween?

I am sure this is a shared concern, that we will need to wait until next Halloween for anything new content-wise. Countless other players would like to know If you have anything planned before then too. I honestly feel like keeping players more engaged with the game over a long period of time would add tremendous amounts of benefit to the community as a whole. I know this might be asking for a lot perhaps, but these are definitely shared thoughts by others. And please don’t get me wrong, extremely grateful for all of the new content released into the game thus far! But, we would just truly appreciate more transparency in the communication and road maps for content releases.

So again, I am wondering (like many others) if I should consider taking another break from the game, and repeating this cycle for only event season?

    Thank you for reading!

    Getting Started
    Prerequisites
Windows 10 or more. Linux distributions capable of running AppImage files. Installation
Download MonTally from [HERE]. Navigate to the settings and configure MonTally according to your preferences. Open your PokéMMO game. Ensure that you are using Windows 10 or a later version.
When running the Installer of MonTally application, you may encounter a message indicating that the application is not signed. This is a common occurrence for unsigned software. Follow these steps to proceed securely:
Upon seeing the "application not signed" message, click on "More Info." Look for the option that allows you to continue or run the application despite the lack of a digital signature. Click on "Run Anyway" to initiate the application safely. This message is a standard security caution, and by following these steps, you can confidently launch the MonTally application.

    🐧 Linux
Download the mon-tally_x.x.x_amd64.AppImage file from here (where x.x.x represents the latest available version).
Make the AppImage executable using one of these methods:
From the terminal: chmod +x mon-tally_x.x.x_amd64.AppImage   Or using the file manager: Right-click the file Select Properties Go to the Permissions tab Enable "Allow executing file as a program" Run MonTally by:
Double-clicking the AppImage file in your file manager Or from the terminal: ./mon-tally_x.x.x_amd64.AppImage   Navigate to the settings and configure MonTally according to your preferences.
Open your PokéMMO or Pokémon Revolution Online game.

    Usage
MonTally is designed to be flexible and user-friendly. Here's a simple guide on how to use it:
Launch the MonTally application. Access the settings to customize Pokémon detection: Automatic Mode: MonTally will effortlessly detect and log all encountered Pokémon automatically. Manual Mode: Users can select specific Pokémon to track, providing more control over the counting process. Go to Settings and select "Select Capture Area". Position the capture area so it encloses the region where Pokémon names appear during battles. Be sure to include enough space to account for horde battles, where multiple Pokémon names might appear on the screen.

For the best experience in games like PokeMMO, consider the following recommendation: In the game settings, go to Interface settings. Enable "Always Show Battle HUD" to ensure accurate Pokémon detection and logging during battles. In the game settings, go to Video settings. Disable "Show Battle Background" to ensure accurate Pokémon detection and logging during battles. (you can enable if you are using MonTally OCR Optimizer Mod) For optimal Pokémon detection in PokeMMO, I highly recommend installing the MonTally OCR Optimizer Mod. This mod significantly improves detection accuracy. To prevent miscounting, I recommend giving nicknames to your Pokémon. This helps MonTally distinguish between wild encounters and your own Pokémon.
Begin seamlessly counting and tracking your Pokémon encounters!

Strongly Recommended: MonTally OCR Optimizer PokeMMO Mod

For optimal Pokémon name detection, I highly recommend installing the MonTally OCR Optimizer mod for PokeMMO. This mod significantly improves MonTally's detection accuracy by:

Adding a dark background behind Pokémon names during battles Enhancing text contrast for better OCR recognition Improving detection rates in various battle scenarios Reducing false positives and missed detections
The mod is specifically designed to work seamlessly with MonTally, making your shiny hunting experience more accurate and reliable. You can download the mod from the official GitHub, MonTally website or Discord community.

    Known Bugs
Despite its robust functionality, MonTally may encounter certain issues. Here is a list of known bugs and possible solutions:
Issue: Doesn't detect Pokémon on other screens.
Solution: Play Pokémon on the main screen to ensure accurate detection. Issue: Incorrect Pokémon Count
Description: The MonTally application occasionally exhibits inaccurate counts, especially during initial usage. The counts may either be higher or lower than the actual number of Pokémon encountered. Solution: Actively use the application; as more encounters are recorded, the counting accuracy tends to improve. Issue: Unintended Pokémon Detection in Inventory.
Description: MonTally is erroneously detecting Pokémon when browsing Pokémon in the backpack or other locations. Solution: Temporarily disable the counter in the settings during these specific moments. Alternatively, consider not placing Pokémon in the upper half of the screen. Issue: "Always on Top" mode not working in borderless windowed mode (e.g., in PokeMMO). Description: When running games in borderless windowed mode, such as PokeMMO, MonTally’s Always on Top functionality may not behave as expected and can fail to stay above the game window. Solution: Change the game’s graphics API to a more compatible one, such as ANGLE or DirectX. This can usually be adjusted in the advanced graphics settings of the game.
Please note that we are continuously working to improve the application and address these issues. If you come across any additional bugs, feel free to report them so that we can continue enhancing the MonTally experience.

MochaCola reacted to Teddiursa in Team Recruitment Section Rules
Welcome to PokeMMO’s Team Recruitment section!
Here teams can make an announcement recruiting new members for their teams, and players can browse through the announcements to find a team that suits their needs.
Whilst we hope you enjoy your time here, there are some section-specific rules we ask you to abide by.

    Rules about recruitment announcement:

    1. List the team leader, current executive(s) and commander(s), and requirements to join the team in the main post.

    Example 1:
    Example 2:
    Ideas for optional content:
    1. List of team members
    2. Screenshot(s) of team members/events
    3. Videos about the team
    4. Shiny showcase

    2. For non-english speaking teams, the post can be made in your language but an english translation in spoiler will be required, as well as a tag with your language in the title.

    Example:

    3. Keep your thread's title reasonable! This means:
No excessive use of caps, punctuation, or special characters No more than 60 characters (not counting tags)
Examples of titles that won't be allowed:
    Examples of allowed titles:

    4. Only team leaders, executives or commanders may create the thread.
For moderation purposes, the thread will be removed if posted by any team member who isn't in one of the mentioned required ranks in the team.

    5. If the team is full or not recruiting anymore, the title needs to be edited to add [Closed] in the beginning.

    Example:

    6. Threads that are inactive for 2 months or more will be removed.
If you wish to restore your thread after it was removed, contact one of the moderators of this section.

    7. If the thread owner leaves the team or becomes inactive, the current leader or executive must contact a Team Recruitment Moderator to create a new thread.
Thread ownership cannot be transferred. You may copy the content of the previous thread, update it or create a new one.

Rules about activity in the threads:

    1. Only one thread may be open at one time per team. Main teams and their extension teams will be considered as one team for recruitment.
If team Cheese is full and creates team Cheese2 to recruit more players, both need to be mentioned in the same thread. If team Cheese2 did not exist when the recruitment announcement of Cheese was posted, the thread needs to be edited to include team Cheese2 in the description.

    2. Bumping is accepted as long as:
There is a cooldown of 24 hours after a bump for the next one, including from different members. You only bump your own team's recruitment thread. The team is not already full or recruitment is paused for any reason.
    Examples of bumps:

    3. Posts that do not contribute to the team's recruitment will be considered spam and dealt with accordingly to our policy.
This also includes posts on rival teams or any toxic behavior. Respect is required.

    Final considerations:

    1. The PokeMMO Code of Conduct as well as the general forum rules will be applied in this section with no exceptions.
    2. If you would like to remove your thread, send a private message to one of the Team Recruitment Moderators mentioned at the end of this post and change the title of your thread to "Please Remove".
    3. It is always in our best interest to attend to your requests quickly, but we might be busy attending to other requests or tasks. Please be patient, we will answer as soon as we can.
    4. If you would like to report a player who is disrespecting the rules, please contact a Team Recruitment Moderator through direct message in the forum linking the post you want to report.
    5. For any suggestions, issues or questions about this section, please contact a Team Recruitment Moderator through direct message.
    6. No cheese was harmed during the creation of this post.

Special thanks to @Bearminator, who has dedicated his time to help creating this section!

MochaCola reacted to Xaiyee in Instance/Raid Ready Check Concepts
One of the biggest flaws of raids is that you can't view the teams of other players. If you play solo queue, you won't know a battle is doomed until you've wasted too much time. Even if you're in a link that's more coordinated, having to repeatedly share your Pokémon in chat is a serious hassle. To solve this issue, I designed my own version of the Ready Check for PC and Android. These are just visual concepts that are entirely made from assets already in the game, except for two icons I designed myself.

    Features:
The Pokémon of all players are shown. Additional info such as which raid you are currently challenging is also shown. You can click a Pokémon's icon to open a menu that allows you to view its summary. There's also options to reposition your Pokémon without leaving the Ready Check screen. If a Pokémon's level is higher than the raid boss's level, it will be scaled down and the summary and Speed stats displayed in the Ready Check window will reflect that. You can click a player's icon to open a menu that allows you to do the following: Change positions with another player. As the link party leader, you can kick players or invite players without leaving the Ready Check screen. On Android, you can view Chat or open the Main Menu to do things like browse the GTL while waiting for your teammates. You cannot access certain functions like the Bag, similar to when you're in a battle. (Note: I'm not familiar with how Instance Ready Check works on mobile so these may already be part of the game.)
The following images are quick animations of the features mentioned. I'd like to read people's opinions on these, so share any thoughts you may have. I hope the devs have made improvements similar to or better than this for the Lunar New Year raids which are coming very soon. If not, then I hope this inspires them to do better. Also, the images in this post are included in an Imgur album I uploaded. It contains full resolution versions of both concepts and an example of how the PC version would look in-game. The album can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/pokemmo-raid-ui-concept-9c2oWnL

MochaCola reacted to ricochang in Add raid weather/effect turn counters to PvP
The raid battles have been fantastic, and one huge feature was the turn counter for tailwind/weather/trick room and safeguard turns. This would be a huge quality of life improvement in PvP as counting weather turns can be a pain if you are a braindead weather player like I am. That is all, thank you.

iOS: Fixed a crash which could occur with controllers Fixed an issue where Field of Fire would apply to semi-invulnerable targets Fixed an uninteractable Rock Smash rock on Johto's Rt 40 Fixed an issue where Toxic Orb / Flame Orb would broadcast their activation message every turn Fixed an issue where Field of Fire would broadcast its activation even if there were no valid targets PP is no longer healed when using Mooncakes Mooncakes now allow multiple to be used at a time Improved server performance when handling very large amounts of logins occurring at the same time Fixed an issue where, when Liquid Ooze would activate, the message target would be the ability owner instead of the damaged victim Fixed an invisible wall in Johto's Rt 47 Fixed an issue where, if Dry Skin caused damage at the end of a turn, the ability owner's held item would activate before damage was applied Fixed an issue where players could fish off the cliff in Johto's Rt 47 Fixed an issue where White Herb would not activate on an opponent swapping in with Intimidate Fixed an issue where, if a wild monster steals and Flings an item from your party, and the player had another of the item in their bag, they would opt to replace the item with the one in their bag instead of restoring it from the battle Fixed an issue where Trace/Role Play would not update tooltips with the active ability Typing overrides are now shown in battle tooltips Fixed Future Sight / Doom Desire animation playback Fixed an issue where the "Show Affordable" button would show in the PC's Advanced Settings menu Fixed ability description rendering on Chinese/Japanese/Korean platforms When challenging Ho-Oh, Giratina, and Red boss battles, the player's party is now healed on battle start Fixed an overpriced Fluffy Tail entry in Hoenn's marts When Heal Block is applied, it now halts usages of moves which would be affected by it (such as Rest) Sacred Fire☆ can no longer be absorbed by foes

MochaCola reacted to Requi in Strings were intentionally nerfed/removed???
Haven't seem much on this topic yet but so far i've seen sources suggesting that the devs removed the advantage strings gave to players.

If this was intentional I need to ask why not just make strings a default option if it's about fairness. There is nothing more annoying to the player experience than spending 3 minutes slowly clicking through text bubbles on each berry plot while planting or being forced to sit through long text when trying to breed eggs on a charm. This will 100% kill the berry farming market (unless your a chinese bot xd) and peoples motivation to do difficult egg shunts.

If devs really did plan to do this in the update I would expect some clarity on what's happening.

Snow lasts 5 turns, or 8 turns if extended by Icy Rock Charge now remains active until the next Electric-type move is used. Ally Switch may now fail if used consecutively This move uses the same failure percentages as Protect, but is counted separately. See below in the Balancing section for details of Protect's changes. Protean now only activates once per switch-out

For example, Protect's success odds will be reduced from 100% -> 33.3% -> 11.1% -> 3.6% for 4 consecutive uses. Previously this move abided by Gen3 rules, where the minimum value was a 1/8th chance of success. Team Preview now shows gender of the opponents Gracidea can no longer be harvested into seeds or crushed into Berry Powder Gracidea's sell price has been updated from $100 to $250 Gracidea's yield has been reduced from 4~6 to 3~6
    Bug Fixes
Fixed various client crashes Fixed various issues with Macho Brace / EXP Splitter interaction. Fixed an issue where controller inputs would not be mapped correctly if there was no keyboard key bound to a function Fixed an issue where, when reconnecting while interacting with a Mart, the client could become stuck Added an animation for egg hatching Extra animations can be turned off in the Settings menu Fixed an issue where duplicate entries for Lures would show up in the Dex for certain entries (e.g. Crobat) Fixed an issue where Magic Room would cause a targeting error in-battle when it ended Fixed an issue where, when using Elixirs in battle, a message would play stating it had no effect Fixed Natural Gift typing shown in various UIs When an item is held, the type of this move will now be updated to reflect the move type, if any. When no berry is held, typing is now considered "???" and will show no label. Fixed an issue where Wide Guard / Quick Guard increased Protect-type moves' failure percentage if they failed to be used Fixed an issue where, if a player used a Repel while a Lure was very close to ending, they could be spammed with many messages about lures wearing off Players can no longer unbind essential hotkeys (A/B/Up/Down/Left/Right) Multiple Gracidea can now be used at once Fixed Curse/Protean's interaction Curse is now targetable in double battles Chatter is no longer blacklisted by Me First Encore can no longer call Sleep Talk Sleep Talk can no longer call Nature Power or Chatter Mimic can no longer call Metronome, Mirror Move, Transform, Struggle, Sleep Talk, Nature Power, Assist, Me First, Copycat, Chatter, or Fling Fixed an issue where Encore's targeting behavior could fail if the user-selected move was not the same as the encored move Fixed an issue where Encore's turn count would be shortened by 1 if used after the target already moved Fixed an issue where Sap Sipper would not suppress secondary stat drop effects of moves such as Leaf Storm Fixed an issue where, if logging out while placing a decoration item in Secret Bases, the client would pretend it's still placing an item upon reconnecting Fixed an issue where Fancy Butterfly Wings' lighting effects wouldn't work properly in GBA regions Fixed an issue where Skill Swap would cause abilities to be activated if it failed to be used Transform now affects the weight of the user Fixed an issue where a Golduck Alpha Swarm in Unova would not be interactable Magic Room now negates Choice item selections Fixed an issue where, when fainting a wild encounter with Sticky Barb with a contact move, the item would not be retained Fixed an issue where, when using Trick against an opponent which had the same Choice item, it would lock the move selection after usage Rules for held item retention against wild encounters have been standardized Previously, held item retention was implemented differently per-move. This led to different behavior depending on what move was used, such as how Trick would never allow held items to be obtained from wild encounters. In general, players are now able to retain a wild encounter's held item as expected if their original held item was destroyed (through consumption or Fling), if they captured the opponent, or if they had no held item at the start of the battle. Wild held items are not retained if the player would have destroyed an Untossable item, or a permanent, non-consumable battle item (such as a Choice Band) Sweet Scent is now used immediately after being prompted to refresh it with a PP item Fixed Trick's message broadcast order Fixed an issue where swapping positions of a party member in a battle box would eat the entry for the target slot Fixed an issue where Darmanitan, while in Zen Mode, would incorrectly use base stats instead of calculated stats for damage calculations Fixed a targeting error which would occur if Rattled was activated by Intimidate The Alpha dex now properly shows Glameow / Lillipup evolution lines (released in LNY 2023)
    Special Notes
Items which were marked with the tag "This item is event-bound. It will become untradeable after this seasonal event is over, and will be deleted at a later date." have been deleted in this maintenance period. This pruning will occur automatically for future events. HeartGold/SoulSilver support is still in-progress. We expect to announce a public test server event for it Soon™
