Although we sometimes use pre-written responses to address common issues, the response you received here was custom and contains no misinformation. If you feel uneasy accepting a gift from a stranger, you can either send it back or send it to an SGM/HGM to eliminate any chance of it being misinterpreted. With that being said though, 20k is such a minuscule amount that it will never result in a ban.

Hi to whoever may be reading this. I was basically sent a random donation of 20k from someone I don't know. I figured I could write a support ticket in case this person had the intention to have players banned by committing RMT, and sending out the money (yes this really happens sadly).

I've written support tickets in the past to confirm whether or not a donation was safe to accept, and I have also received confirmations from SGMs for these instances. However instead of hearing back from a real person this time, I was given whats seems to be an auto-generated response. saying that I can "send it back to the party" or forward the mail to an SGM/GM.

After playing for about 3 years now, there are always new things I'm learning, but I don't believe it's possible to simply forward a mail or send it back (without accepting first).

I'm still left feeling uncertain so I guess I'll leave it in the mail box and try my best to never hit accept. I also understand the staff may be flooded with support tickets daily, and I can only imagine how difficult that must be to manage. I don't know for sure if this response is AI, but I don't believe there's any way to "forward" a mail to someone.

Also I'm not trying to bash the support system, it just feels a little disheartening to receive a response that is likely AI and also seems to be misinformation 😭

(not trying to critique the staffs way of doing thing, just wanted to put my thoughts out there, I wish the support system could still feel like we're talking to real people, like how it was back in the day. also writing this post in case I need to save my account in case I ever accidentally hit accept)

We will soon be implementing name expiration for inactive characters. An inactive character may have their name claimed by another user if they meet all of the following conditions:
 
Has never purchased Reward Points.
Has not reached max level cap in all available regions.
Has no shiny OT monsters.
Is inactive.
Is not banned.
 
Being inactive is based on a character's last online time and total played time:
 
100+ hours of played time:
Will not be considered inactive.
60-99 hours of played time:
Last online over 4 years ago.
48-59 hours of played time:
Last online over 3 years ago.
24-47 hours of played time:
Last online over 2 year ago.
6-23 hours of played time:
Last online over 1 year ago.
<6 hours of played time:
Last online over 6 months ago.
 
For the first month the conditions are met, only a Name Change Contract may be used to claim an expired name.
 
If your character's name has been claimed by another user, you will have to choose a new name to continue playing. It is not possible for staff to recover your name. Attempting to buy or sell character names will result in a permanent ban.
 
Name expiration will begin on June 1st at 00:00 UTC for Name Change Contracts.
Name expiration will begin on July 1st at 00:00 UTC for general availability.

The Q&A subforum mode is no longer supported in this version of the forum software. We don't develop it ourselves, so can't bring it back.

Although voting was helpful to draw attention to certain threads, it didn't significantly impact a suggestion's chance of implementation, partially due to how easy it was to ask friends / teammates to click the button. I regularly browse new threads in the section and if I like something I see, I add it to the to-do list regardless of the number of votes it has. Although it often takes a while for them to be given attention afterwards, every suggestion is seen and considered, and the lack of voting won't change that.

If you want to boost a suggestion's chance of implementation, constructive posts which attempt to improve it are also read and taken into account. If you just want to show quick support, a 👍 reaction is the best way to do that, and I do look at the number of those too. Low content posts like "+1" only clutter the thread and make it harder for useful discussion to happen.

Depending on how my week goes i might be able to squeeze in time. we shall see!

I don't know if you're interested, but there's a way to automatically fetch the latest prices of items, such as seeds, and display it as a number in google sheets, using pokemmohub api. I can send you a demo if you dm me, and you can decide if you wanna implement it into your sheet/calc.

I've been playing this great game for nearly 5 years, and spent about half of that being staff. I have enjoyed my time playing and being part of this community; but all good things sadly have to come to an end.
 
If you know me, its no secret I haven't been active for a bit, and moreso less since I left staff. Activity has been spiralling down after I moved; with unfortunate life events and health issues. After spending the last few weeks away, I feel like its the best time to say goodbye to everyone. I am grateful for everyone who plays and every staff member who had to put up with me I spent so much time with. There's some who I would love to mention:
