No. OT only transfers if the original mon being bred is your OT. (In case of Shiny) You can not breed your Shiny OT with another pokemon and expect the offspring to have your ot.

Unless the non OT pokemon is a Ditto, then the OT will transfer. But that's the only way.

  2. Friendly reminder this is in 2 days time.

  4. I've had a few people ask me about Swords Dance chomp and whether or not it's viable for this seasonal finals.

I'm going to go ahead and allow it to be used because there's a few days still for people to prepare, and people that already own Garchomps can just teach it, so it doesnt require rebreed or anything as it's easily accessable. So yeah, Swords Dance Garchomp is allowed.

Just by curiosity, it didn1t't happen due to a stroke of luck, the 32nd player happened to be 1 pt ahead the 33rd player. But what if the 32nd was tied between multiple players, which tie-break criteria would be used? Would have a Play-off between tied players for the spot?

We trackers everyone's participation through every single qualifiers event too, that was the next factor after points directly. So nah, there wouldnt have been a playoff - highest spot would've been based on how many events they participated in. This is outlined in the original post.

Obtaining 10 points overall will secure your spot for the final tournament on Saturday 17th February 2024. Remaining seats will be decided by point totals + participation across the qualifying events.

  6. Hey guys!

I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong, but I can’t get Daisy to raise the happiness, she just talks to me and does nothing else. Thanks for the help.

Daisy only raises happiness one time a day, yes. If you need to do this immediately there's a neat guide you can use here that will allow you to use soothe bell/berries etc to raise happiness yourself.

  8. Apologies for not updating this with week 6s results, but Weeks 6 & 7 are now behind us. Only one more week left of qualifiers!

Congrats to OU & LoveSiNiLe for winning the Week 6 tours & ALLLZ & OrangeManiac for winning the week 7 tours.

This brings us up to 11 guarenteed invites now for the final tournament with the potential for some more this coming week also.

LoveSiNiLe, YJos, OU, OrangeManiac, AeOKC, enchanteur, Axellgor, MarginalPersons, NuzlockedMAG, GabrielAZ & ALLLZ.

This is a reminder that the final tournament is on Saturday 17th February. I'll send a mail to everyone that has an invite after the final week of qualifiers to confirm their spot and with information on the finals too.

    GG guys 🙂

Do I only qualify if I get to 10 points or can I qualify based on where my points position me at the end of all the weeks?

Correct, you only qualify if you get 10 points. There's 5 weeks of qualifiers left.

Believe me every DuBz player in the game is very talented, i played against em all

All players Who always play are great

It s all about match up and rng

    Good luck all

I'm aware. I've got a long long period of experience myself, I know theres lots of great players. But you only need 1-2 good runs from 16 tours essentially really to guarentee qualification. That's not alot at all.

Those who already won tournaments don't need to prove their skills nor to win points to play against lower in ladder, théy are already skilled and talented

As well 700rp won't make any real différence

Don't be greedy and let noobs win some invites 😁😏

Definitely not. The whole reason I made it this way is because I want the best of the best players in the format to play in the final tournament, banning those players from playing takes that away and adds some "free wins" to the final bracket which I dont like. I want it to be competitive. It's still possible to qualify even if youre making it to round 3/4 most weeks.

I want to confirm something, once i qualify i can't play the other tournaments? In other invitational editions the host explicitly said that you couldn't play once you qualified, but this is not the case, i don't see that rule anywhere @Parke

Correct. It's encouraged that you play the other tournaments after you qualify as you get points still which go towards your seat position in the final tournament.

  12. Congratulations to the winners !
