Just caught my 2nd OT in an alt (The first was caught in an alt while ev training) while I was hunting for a shiny, I'm sad that I didn't get the one I wanted but it's still an OT =)

That's probably false. I know a lot of people who hunted for shinies and finally got it. I also got my shiny while ev training.
