  1. dude is simple pumpkin farmer and you expect from him to know things
  2. Calm down bro. Every post you published since you created that account contain the same sentence "we want halloween event" and a word "please" in different configurations. It won't speed up things, trust me
  3. Let's make this protest about Christmas event too. We will feel like it was thanks to us if they make them happen
  4. It's not so important but it also doesn't sound difficult to implement. Move animations are also unnecessary and they look like they cost much more effort and time to implement. Sometimes you add stuff to game just because it's cool
  5. You have very right to express your ideas on forum but dont expect ppl to like them. People are giving a feedback for your suggestions and your reaction is tantrum. If you want to improve quality of your suggestion then try to play for a bit, learn how games work, what is implemented, how some problems are solved. Im not saying you should study it, just play more consciously. You could share your paintings on painting forum and you would receive criticism. Sharing anything publicly is tied with receiving criticism, use it to your own advantage and try to harness anything useful from it. As for suggestion I agree with Linfanz. What you've just described is Phenomena from Unova region with extra sprite. Implementing it on it's own is just pointless. Enhancing phenomena with sprite could look cool. The problem is how much effort would it cost only to add some polish to the existing rare encounter. You would need to figure out a way to represent all phenomena pokemon sprites in a way they dont look shitty, above all. To me, that's sounds like very expensive polish that is not worth the hassle
  6. Problem with PC in secret base is farmers who could use it as a PokeCenter. If they would implement something like this, it would need some limitations
  7. I think he meant adding IV after breeding.
  8. what's going on with all these "when next gen" topics lately?
  9. From Emerald Pokedex: "A glare from its single scarlet eye makes even burly grown-ups freeze in utter fear"
  10. That's a very fat dog or very expensive food. You must love your dog very much to spend so much money on him.
  11. I have meowth with hyper voice+icy wind and use him for EV training. Pick up is just bonus
  12. Oooh, right, they have system like that in USA. But they were segregating by skin color. Dividing by nationality will be PokeMMO twist on the idea
  13. You are giving examples with Fortnite (Free Pass and Battle Pass, one you can earn the other you buy with real currency) and PubG (you HAVE TO spend real currency to open some chests). For me, it sounds like getting advantage by paying real currency. In PokeMMO you can buy a limited vanity and sell it later. Tell me, are event vanities also Pay to Win for you? You can sell vanity, buy bags/boxes from GTL, get event vanities and sell them later. Too bad you can do exactly the same thing with yen you earned in the game. Were Moba also P2W? You could farm soft currency to buy champion or buy premium currency to buy it right away afterall. No you can't, 6x31 is maximum, you can breed it with yens from farming NPC or from selling stuff you bought for real currency. Yes it will be much quicker way. Spender save his time, Breeder earn his cash for breeding, non-spender get his favorite vanity, devs get money to run this game. Everyone is happy. I see your point but I fail to understand it This is called investing and like in real life it's tied with risk & frozen capital. He is spending cash he got, so he is unable to breed a comp(because he is hoarding this money he could spend on comp) as a reward he probably (risk) able to sell it later (frozen cash in time). If he decide to not to farm, then what's the problem? If he decide to not play pvp, then we can be sad because it's always one less player? But what's the problem if he dont farm and play? In this situation game generated donation out of thin air because they dont provide anything to this guy and he still gave them his money. You can't "win" a MMO. This is not game you can complete. You can get through story (you can't skip it with real currency). You can win a PvP match/tournament (you can't buy the win). But you cannot "win" multiplayer game. You can win matches/battles/rounds in Multiplayer games. Can you do that with infinite amount of Yens? Of course you can't.
  14. You are paying for ocarina for comfort to not run to the PC everytime you need HM. Buy 100 Ropes and you will not run out of them till 2030, then you could buy next pack of 100 to celebrate new region or team preview
  15. what? :D doesn't it cost like few hundreds?
  16. then every game with microtransaction is P2W. By your definition games is either Pay 2 Play OR Pay 2 Win, nothing in between. Imagine situation, 2 players, (for the purpose of this example they are exactly the same when taking skill into account). One spend 0$ in real currency the other over billion $. Can you predict who will win in a battle? Let me answer for you: No. They have equal opportunity to win. The rich guy might wear more fancier vanities and maybe more shinnies, this is the only difference. That's the point of good microtransaction, to not sell power. If the only thing microtransaction is offering is a more convinient way to play or some fancy skin, then it is not pay to win. If you spend real currency to buy some yens and buy/make every possible comp you could imagine then this is convinient part because you dont have to waste your time on grinding/breeding. Some ppl dont have time to farm in this game for hours but they still want to play this game. Will he be stronger than player who dont spend a dime? Ofc not, because you cannot buy stronger item/pokemon
  17. What you guys are talking about :D P2W is when paying gives you advantage in game. Since you can bring only 6pokemon into battle and you cannot obtain anything stronger than others because you used real currency. You can buy resources to make new Pokémon but you can't get any advantage in game, this is not RTS. And no, having more Pokémon to choose from is not advantage. We could talk about P2W if some Pokémon, item or Stat boost was behind pay wall
  18. sorry, thought you are saying level caps, E4 scaling and lack of legendaries are reality because they want to set a wall to force player into grinding. For me, those are things introduced to apply a bit of weight on players to make them think a bit more about game -> making them more engaged -> being more interested in battling -> playing more. Was it done correctly? Dunno. Im bit skeptic that devs are so out of touch with game design they are not aware it's like the worst thing ever when players starts to notice grind. Constant grind(especially the one which is forced upon you) is boring, and when players start to be bored by the game they leave it, which is pretty opposite of what you want to accomplish. Does this changes introduce a mindless grind into game? Maybe, but claiming it's worse than before changes or it was put in on purpose is in my opinion a bit dishonest.
  19. rolling over story with single charizard and leaving E4 as a farm-able dummies would be more engaging Im sure
  20. This means you will selling for more than on GTL
  21. Toupi
