Welcome to the Official PokeMMO Team Tournament of April 2024
These are monthly competitive tournaments where teams can test their skill against each other.
Players battle as teams (3 at a time). Teams can switch out which members compete between rounds.[Oa] Original
will be given the opportunity to defend their title from March 2024. They have earned a registration slot.
In each round, three players from each team will be placed in line in the following order :
The top spot will be an OU Match
The middle spot will be an UU Match
Below, there will be an Doubles Match

The captain is someone we will contact with important information during the tournament. If you put someone as a meme, it's on you if you do not hear information.

4. The process of TT
SpoilerTeam Tournament will be held in the same way every month:
a) The thread will be open with the tournament date and registration
b) Registration will start on the Thursday before the tournament. Check the timezone converters.
c) Registration will end on the Friday before the tournament—the same time as the start of registration.
d) The final bracket and match information will be visible on Saturday.
e) At the start of the tournament, the host will confirm where each team plays a match and then matches will be called
5. Penalties
SpoilerPenalties will work like the general warning giving to a team for unsportsman like behavior or trying to ruin the fun for other players. An example of this would be a match-fixing or standing on the spot of fighting players to make it harder to see who they are playing against.
It will include taking away points and/or dq in the tournament, or further actions.In situation when penalty has to be given, hosts will inform Team Captain or representative about it, explain why it is or will be given.
6. Time to start a duel + penalty
SpoilerOnce match is called, team has 10 minutes to show up. If THREE players will be lined up, we will consider the team ready and announce the start of a match.
- If a team will then suddenly shift players, its dq for said matches- If 10 minutes will pass and team will not be present fully, it's DQ for missing players
7. General points system
SpoilerTeams effort will be calculated using the points system:Champion: 8 2nd Place 4 Semifinal: 2 3rd Round: 1 The hierarchy in the General Standings Table will be:
1. Points
2. Highest position in tournament during year (Champions > 2nd place > semifinal etc)
3. Won/Lost Matches (more the better)
4. Direct Matches between teams during 2023
5. Points scored / TT attended
6. Tie breaker match if needed.Cup of the Year will be played between teams in 1-8 standings at the end of the year.

Hi.
To explain the restoration of assets in your case:
One was sold for 1,22m. The current one lowest on GTL is 1,111m.
another was sold for 650k. The current value on GTL is 750k for ready comp and 600k for the breeder to be EV'd.And finally, the last one was sold for 1,08 m. The current GTL prize is almost the same, and I see the original price of buying it was around the same.
The fourth one was restored.
Also, you've paid for service- 95k.This totals +- 3,050,000, which was sent to you. If we receive a ticket that the mons are underpaid, we always check the case out.
To address returning of pokemon and paying buyers:
It's not possible. They could've been traded away, released, or chain-traded among many players for different assets, not only money. This makes the reversal of trades impossible. In rare cases, like expensive shinies being scammed, we negotiate with the buyers (not scammers, legit buyers) to reach a positive outcome, but it will not always be positive.
An example would be trading a comp Pokemon as one of many assets in exchange for a rare item, which also gets traded for other stuff—it creates a loop of trades.
Players get banned for scamming, and they lose all their assets. Understandably, losing money on those trades because of those players makes people mad, as they lose time that they must put into re-breeding assets or—in the case of items—part of the money lost in the process. There will be cases where players lose some money, but I would say that in most cases, players get back the total value of assets.

If someone scams, we ban all accounts involved and can see if someone traded Pokemon to an alt or sold in a legit way. If Pokemon ends up in a banned account, it's restored, and it doesn't matter if it's alt or not.
I hope that clarifies. Of course, we understand strong emotions about the subject. I hope you will enjoy the game despite this situation. We will continue to try to catch and punish all scammers. We will not change this process so I will close the suggestion.

4. The process of TT
SpoilerTeam Tournament will be held in the same way every month:
a) The thread will be open with the tournament date and registration
b) Registration will start on the Thursday before the tournament. Check the timezone converters.
c) Registration will end on the Friday before the tournament—the same time as the start of registration.
d) The final bracket and match information will be visible on Saturday.
e) At the start of the tournament, the host will confirm where each team plays a match and then matches will be called
5. Penalties
SpoilerPenalties will work like the general warning giving to a team for unsportsman like behavior or trying to ruin the fun for other players. An example of this would be a match-fixing or standing on the spot of fighting players to make it harder to see who they are playing against.
It will include taking away points and/or dq in the tournament, or further actions.In situation when penalty has to be given, hosts will inform Team Captain or representative about it, explain why it is or will be given.
6. Time to start a duel + penalty
SpoilerOnce match is called, team has 10 minutes to show up. If THREE players will be lined up, we will consider the team ready and announce the start of a match.
- If a team will then suddenly shift players, its dq for said matches- If 10 minutes will pass and team will not be present fully, it's DQ for missing players
7. General points system
SpoilerTeams effort will be calculated using the points system:Champion: 8 2nd Place 4 Semifinal: 2 3rd Round: 1 The hierarchy in the General Standings Table will be:
1. Points
2. Highest position in tournament during year (Champions > 2nd place > semifinal etc)
3. Won/Lost Matches (more the better)
4. Direct Matches between teams during 2023
5. Points scored / TT attended
6. Tie breaker match if needed.Cup of the Year will be played between teams in 1-8 standings at the end of the year.

Certain topics do not belong in our chat and will not be met with a warning. However, players can report their mutes to us using the support platform, where we (sgm+) will check them.

Even with more mods (for example, EN chat), we sometimes can miss some arguments or inappropriate chat/other rule-breaking due to different tasks. There are motivated individuals within the FR community alone willing to do this work voluntarily, and it's a shame they're stuck on a criterion that doesn't seem coherent considering what is expected of a CM (and I'm not the only one who thinks so, judging by the forms).The Community Manager role is a trainee role before becoming a Global Moderator. It's vastly different for each staff member since their additional tasks, like translations, support, etc., could make the CM phase longer. They are not given the right to mute for simple reasons— one is that transitioning from player to enforcing rules is not easy.
The aim is for all CMs to eventually become Global Mods.
The English requirement is present for organizational purposes. All our guidelines, discussions, and meetings are in English, requiring at least an understanding to avoid creating inner issues during our work. An example would be a CM misunderstanding policy or assignment, which could result in a player receiving unjust treatment or a wrong response to their issue/behavior. I am not a fan of recruiting staff members unable to properly communicate with HGM/SGMs at least.
We aim to have a few mods for each major language, but sometimes, life is life, and there will be moments without it. Players don't enforce our rules and sometimes don't even fully know them, so this will never be implemented.
If players think their mute/ban is unjust, they can appeal. In this case, the person who has not issued the punishment is checking the appeal.
I'm sorry to hear you got the negative outcome of your appeal. This will not change our way of moderating chat. There are some rules you've agreed to follow when you've accepted them upon creating your account.
