You cannot catch the static birds. They rotate on a monthly rotation in Kanto after u obtained 8 badges there. Catchable outdoors in Kanto, each month another. This month is Zapdos. Same goes for legendary beasts in Johto after having defeated the Ho-oh Boss battle. Shaymin is Chinese New Year event only. At this point u cannot keep any other legendary permanently. There's one king of the hill uber legendary per region which u can find and keep until you log out or lose a duel (you're forced to accept duels then), these being Mewtwo, Lugia, Rayquaza, Keldeo and Arceus. U can get Zekrom in story, afterwards, it becomes unusable. The other legendaries are either boss battles or not implemented to be caught (yet).

You are replying to a more than 7 year old post, shiny rate is in fact the same for everyone (1/30k) unless u alter it with shiny charm and/or donator - available to everyone, so everyone has the same chances of finding a shiny.

no, u give everstone to your snivy and breed a male 4x31 with 3 overlapping 31s of the egg grp and give it the item for the 31 it has that snivy doesn't. Then u breed your 3x31 timid snivy with the 4x31 male. Then choose female gender for snivy. Then u breed a 5x31 male of the same egg grp and give it the item for the 31 which is still missing and breed your 4x31 timid snivy which carries an everstone with it and you will have a 5x31 timid snivy. Here is a visual example: Your snivy would be the 3x31 below the Pikachu, just with other ivs but which iv u breed first doesnt matter.

Guys, it is rng. U can have a shiny on your first encounter, might aswell be your 300k encounter. Personal example: Took me 1.5 years shiny hunting daily for a specific horde shiny, on the other hand, found 3 shinies in 5 days...On average, shunting daily for a shiny like Breloom probably still takes quite a few months. You won't get Lugia as a permanent addition to your team, same with all legendaries to this point in PokeMMO. The only mythic u can have permanently in your party is Shaymin which will probably make its return next Lunar New Year. Lugia being an 'uber' legendary will almost certainly never be available for u to keep permanently. I got told Lugia will be the King of the Hill legendary for HGSS. Wide lens aerodactyl rock slide+banded chomp eq. Only kinda annoying is Rotom W and Eelektross. Mold breaker excadrill probably better than chomp there but wasn't out then yet and i'm lazy.
