  1. Been playing through the most recent version, and I just have a quick question. For Pokemon that evolve by trading, is it still instead where they evolve at level 40, or has something been changed there? I raised a machoke to the proper level, but it didn't evolve, so I was curious. Edit: So far, I've managed to discover that Seadra evolves at level 47. Still trying to discover more as I go along for the others.
  2. While on the subject of bugs, I've found one as well, and I hope it's an easy fix. The move False Swipe is not acting like it's supposed to. It's still a low powered attack like it should be, but as of the moment it seems to be able to make your opponent faint. Something is getting in the way of it leaving the Pokémon with only 1 hp.
  3. Just wondering, has anyone taken a shot online at a mega gardevoir sprite yet? Considering ralts can be caught early on in the mod, and the design not being too different, I was just wondering if anyone had made an attempt at it.
  4. After testing out the newest version of the IPS patch, I have noticed a thing or two to suggest. The main one that comes to mind is that the national pokedex should probably be made active as soon as you get your pokedex. This is mostly so that any non-kanto Pokemon can still evolve when they meet their conditions. I raised a ralts to lvl 20, only for it to evolution cancel as the sequence started. The only other thing I can think of to suggest is to perhaps make it so that, like Moemon Sigma Emerald, TM's be changed to unlimited use instead of single use. I wouldn't be surprised if OtherPlayers, the one in charge of that mod thread, would be willing to offer pointers on how to do this if needed.
  5. I searched out and downloaded that ROM after seeing your comment, and tried patching the IPS file into that one, but unfortunately I ran into the same issue. Perhaps it's the patcher I'm trying to use? Since I play by using an emulator on my phone, I do the patching on my phone using an app called Unipatcher, and up until now it has done the job. Perhaps I need to find a different patching app, or should I do patching on my computer via LunarIPS and then copy the patched rom onto my phone? Anyone have suggestions? Or is there an important step I'm missing?
  6. I'm so glad to see that Moemon is still alive and well, and I'll admit I've been lurking for a week or two on here. I've been trying the demos, and as such I just wanted to bring up a couple of things in case they are a recurring problem. I guess the first is that I've been noticing that approximately half of the Pokemon are discolored in this. I haven't seen any of the sprites be the Moemon versions just yet, but considering it's the beta phase, I can understand that. The other thing I've noticed is that the game freezes or resets with certain moves. Defense curl and harden have made the game freeze, and quick attack so far has been making my game reset. I've been patching the IPS right onto a clean version of Fire Red as this has been going on, so I don't think I'm doing it wrong, but I'm open to suggestions. The last thing I want to ask has to just do with the fact that there are going to be most of the generations included in this version. Considering the sheer volume of legendary Pokemon that would now be included, I was just wondering how all of that was going to be handled. Just was curious, really.
  7. Not sure if it's a remnant from April Fools Day, but the main header for this thread still says discontinued on it. I assume that just needs removed. On another note, returning back to the subject of backsprites, I know I've been rooting on the sidelines for a backsprite being done for the Rayquaza shown on page 235 from laGashetaHardcore, so someone picking up that torch would be a nice start to the work that needs done for the various sprites. Seeing as Moemon Sigma Emerald and Moemon Fire Red go pretty much hand in hand, with them implementing these sprites and all, I know they'd get put to good use. Sorry if I sound like a bit of a broken record, but at least it's an offered point to start sprite work.
  8. So, just so the record is straight here, what moemon are there that we are still needing backsprites for? I know laGashetaHardcore posted an assortment of sprites a page or two ago, and many of them are kinda sitting there, and have been for months. I've been kind of hoping for some of them for quite some time now, and hope that some would get finished up. As a Moemon Sigma Emerald player, some of these ones that have been sitting for some time would be a definite step up. I'd lend help if I could, but I couldn't sprite my way out of a paper bag...
  9. Since no one else is stepping up to the plate yet, I will be the first to do so. Thank you OtherPlayers for the work you do here. I always look forward to each update you provide, knowing how much time likely gets put into doing each patch. You deserve quite a bit of praise for this! Thank you for the time and effort you give in our behalf.
  10. This is just personal opinion, but maybe the upper part of the ponytail should have some loose strands? The current smoothness feels a bit unnatural to me.
  11. @toottoot That's unfortunate. I remember being quite interested when Rayquaza was being experimented with earlier this year, for example. http://s18.postimg.org/9p7hcsszt/2hrddts.png
  12. Just wondering, are there any other sprites for legendary Pokemon that are in the works besides just the bird trio? I remember seeing a possible new one for Rayquaza in the past, for example, but I assume that one was discarded. I just lose track of what Pokemon are being worked on for the next patch.
  13. I know this may sound a little left field, but does anyone have a modified GBA format rom of Fire Red (or any other gen 3 rom) that allows all Pokemon to get caught without outside help, one that would be compatible with the latest patch? I would like to take advantage of the game fully, instead of being limited in what can be caught. I know Fire Red Omega was able to work this way in the past, but no longer will cooperate with the more recent patches. It's a bit disheartening to see some of the changes, knowing I won't be able to catch then, especially only using a GBA emulator on my phone like I do.
  14. Thanks for the concise suggestion. I seemed to have used an already patched version previously. I did a patch with a fresh rom, and all is clear now.
  15. This is mostly my lack of experience talking, but what steps usually have to be taken so that a patch for fire red can also be used for emerald version (or in my case, sigma emerald)? I've been following this thread for quite a while, but only just today realized 1.95 only applies to fire red.
