  1. What about adding harsher penalties to forfeits as a way to dissuade players from abusing it in early matches? This could overall increase the length of certain duels by punishing those who forfeits at the slightest misplay/struggle/hax. Right now, both players are penalized for the decision of the player who forfeited, which kinda seems unfair. Imo, forfeits should only be used as a last resort option and not for laziness.
  2. I won't get into details but it's impossible with the current IV spread of shiny prizes unfortunately. It's either 2x31 or 2x0- with the rest being 25s and I don't think the latter would please anyone.
  3. The game isn't meant to be cleared with Blastoise Water Gun, maybe you should rethink your approach. Plenty of players have cleared all regions so it mustn't be impossible.
  4. Buying/selling any in-game asset/account for real currency or assets of other games is forbidden. It's a serious offence that may result in a permanent ban.
  5. Hi, Even if we do put restrictions for tournaments or split them into 2 different brackets, you would still see competitive players excelling in them anyway. Better IV'd Pokemon don't guarantee you a win. It gives you better odds at best but you would still need to acquire certain skills and knowledge to reach later rounds of any tournament. Adding restrictions just limits tier diversity and removes certain Pokemon of the grid that would normally do good with specific IV spreads (0 IV Speed for instance). It would also become the new standard and players would inevitably breed Pokemon based on the restrictions so it’s not any better. The competitive scene isn't meant for any new players to succeed and it's normal if they struggle at first. They'll eventually learn from their previous mistakes, breed better comps, learn new strategies, adapt to new meta, and eventually they'll reach later rounds. Tournaments are supposed to be challenging and only the ones that put in the most work and are the most dedicated will see the fruits of their labor. What you are probably looking for is an easier way to obtain better IV'd Pokemon but that's another story for another day. On a side note, we already have a thread that was made especially for event suggestions so please use that for your future suggestions, thanks:
  6. For now 256-man tournaments are only during weekends and we aim mostly for OU tournaments since it's the most popular tier. Doubling the amount of seats from 128 to 256 only adds an extra round and at worst it makes it an hour longer because of the 1-hour max time. Making 2 tournaments with 128 seats doesn't seem like a good idea. There would be an 8th round in any case if we want both finalists to fight and it would be more complicated and would probably require more time to set it up in the end. If we go for 2 different tournaments where the winners never meet for a final round then we would be doublling the prizes given out for something that would require less effort and would be less challenging. As for official tournaments, we shouldn't be going below 64-man tournament for now (CCs not included but they should be increasing in sizes anyway). There is still the signup fee option that hasn't been considered yet. It would work as a way to segregate players and perhaps it could reduce the amount of signups significantly. Feel free to share your opinion, we're still open to any suggestion.

  13. Just post at 7pm UTC - 3pm EDT - 8pm CET. EST has stopped to be observed like 2 weeks ago but UTC never changes and CET hasn't changed yet. Just a small mistake with the template.
  14. We're aware that certain time slots are more likely to have a higher participation rate than others but we can't just squeeze them all during weekends because it's not possible and also not fair. We scatter official events on every day of the week on multiple time zones to give a fair chance for everyone to join in. Moreover, 128-seat tournaments can last several hours and not everyone has a couple hour ahead of them to spare for a tournament. We try to prioritize rarer shinies for 128-seat but we also like to alternate with a 64-seat once in a while. In the end it's up to the host to decide but we can't please everyone, sadly. That's not true. Just because we don't comment every suggestions doesn't mean we don't look at them. Criticism is good when it's constructive and well-reasoned, unlike this:

  17. Overworld swarms if i'm not mistaken
  18. You've seen all of them but you need to have owned all 274 catchable Pokemon
  19. Rat costume comes from Red Envelope that you get from trading Coins to the Politoed next to Nacrene's Pokemon Center
