Three years ago, I started my adventure as a trainer into the world of PokéMMO, a place where you can meet people from around THE WORLD, play with them and do many other things together. When I initiated I didn’t know what to do first, so I searched for a team. My friend Megasaf, who introduced me into PokéMMO, recommended me to be in the same team as his and offered to join a team called “HolyWarriors”, but at that moment I declined his offer. I wanted something different, so I joined a team name COIN. The people there was nice and helpful, but 3 days later I received a notification informing that the team was dismantling. I was in disbelief, how the team I just joined 3 days ago could be disintegrating? I asked an executive (don’t remember his name at all) what happen and he said that the leader was bored and wanted to do something else with his life. Then he gave me a SemiCompetitive Magikarp, some apologies and later he left. I left the team too and then I went home to sleep a bit. Later when I woke up Megasaff texted me asking if I still wanted to enter HolyWarriors and well… I accepted. In the following days I made a lot of friends in LÁD (that was the tag name of the team), LAD was a super fun club to be in, it was like my second home. I met wonderful people in there like Varti, MegaBladers, Scribbern, Artemis and the leader Pechan. We talked a lot every day while I trained the Magikarp that executive gave to me. Months passed since I joined LAD and October came like a lightning. At that time my Magikarp evolved into a Gyarados, I built a competitive team, I captured Rayquaza and Mewtwo, I got my Cloud Nest Hat and, finally, participate in a Team Tournament although we lost in the 1st round but we compromised to return someday. In PokéMMO, the Admins announced that the Ferry to Unova was going to be inaugurated Soon ™ and we were excited to imagine how awesome the next region will be. On the fifth day of October, I was talking with my friends about what Unova Pokémon would they catch first when suddenly I got a notification telling me that the Leader Pechan left the team. I couldn’t believe it, how this happened? I texted Pechan at her Rotom-Phone and she answered me the following: “Artemis accused me of having spoken ill of her behind her back and I said that this is no true but she refused to hear me. Then she leaved the team but I told her that if you leave the team, it will be divided. So I joined her back and I left, for the sake of the team”. I texted back Pechan saying it was the most stupid discussion I’ve ever seen, then I told her to meet with Artemis and clear things up. Later, we, Pechan, Artemis and me, sit down to dialogue but nothing useful came of it. Artemis didn’t want to reason about it and finally, at 11 pm, she left the team forever. Things didn’t get better in the following days, Pechan entered the team 5 days after what happened, only to found it in complete anarchy. When Unova came in December, many people emigrated from HolyWarriors to the new team Artemis created. And then, several months later, almost nobody was in LAD, even my friend Megasaf went into that team. Finally, I decided to leave, not without first leaving a letter to her saying how much I appreciate her as a friend and how much I appreciated the team I once considered as a home. 2 years later, I went to the Pokémon Center at Vermilion and entered the PC, checking box after box until I found a Gyarados in the last box of the PC, it was the Gyarados that evolved from that special Magikarp I received a long time ago. I noticed that she still didn’t have a name so I went to the name rater and named her like a very special friend of mine: Peechan.

Ok hear me out: The only way to "change" the name of a team right now is obliterating the team and creating a new one. I would like to propose another way of changing a team's name. Make it so there is an extra button in the Team Window that says "Name Change". You need to be the leader to be able to change the name AND the Tag. And, after the change, there's a cooldown of 24 hours or 7 days. Well, what do you think? If you like the idea hit that Up-vote button plz.

I agree that the game is difficult to new players who have only played the vanilla games or the newer ones (the easiest imo), but let's put the things into their perspective tho: Imagine that you just started the game in Sinnoh, everything is fine until you get to the first gym and get rekt cuz your lvl 9 Chimchar can't deal with the Rock gym. Then you have 4 options: 1) Go and grind some more levels until your Chimchar reach something like lvl 15 or you have a better prepared team. 2) Open the Gtl and rent a lvl 20 Pokémon. You sweep the rock gym and go on with the adventure until the rent pokémon gets overthrown by NPCs with stronger pokémon or the time for renting the said mon expires and you stay with your underlevel Chimchar and maybe not enough money to rent another one. 3) Open the GTL and buy a lvl 20 Pokémon. The scenario it's the same as if you rent a pokémon except when you buy it you will keep it forever and it'll gain EXP, and at the same price (maybe). 4) Join a team/Go into the Channel chat and state that you are in the need of help. In that situation someone may help you... Or you die ignored. TL;DR: We don't need the rental pokémon system because the GTL is basically better. postdata: Someone defeated the Unova E4 with 4 Spindas, so just git gud.

But the whole concept of rental pokémon is literally "Pay to win", is isn't smart at all imo. Grinding is the way PokéMMO was meant to be played, even in the vanilla games you're constantly grinding for everything (like in HGSS), except in Sword and Shield, those games are too easy. So my answer is No: We already can buy Pokémon from the GTL, and use them in the adventure. If you don't want to buy anything, just join a team and ask someone to lend you some Pokes.

I don't think so, buddy. It's not that the admins can just grab the X & Y ROMS and slap into PokéMMO and make it work. And if somehow we get to play in Kalos (Not Soontm), not so many computers/android devices will run a 3DS game smoothly. So, just wait for the Dungeons and probably Johto.

I make a call to the "Eternal Mayor" of PokéMMO @Bestfriends, how it's possible that the Mayor has no decreed the State of emergency in PokéMMO because of the Novel Coronavirus??? It is now official that a guy in Kanto, (one week later after eating a Zubat lol) has been diagnosed with this new and highly infectious virus and the government hasn't taken any measures against it. The Ninja Mask is at an inaccessible price (500 rp each 1, 900k~ in convertion), the Pokémon center only admits Pokémon (dah), and Pokémon are not affected by the Coronavirus, also the Vermilion port connects with the biggest city in PokéMMO, Castelia city in Unova, directly. We need to take measures immediately to prevent a bigger problem, maybe cancel every Catch event, Tournament and the TT. I'll be waiting a official response on the matter, meanwhile i will be in Quarantine with Zekrom in my house. Peace!

When you have Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Keldeo or Arceus in your team, you're forced to accept challenges, so that's a reason.

There is one thing i don't understand at all, yesterday i decided to watch the bans of the Tiers in PokéMMO and i observed that the catchable legendaries of the game are banned from Ubers, what does this mean? Are they gonna start to introduce the Uber legendary Pokémon in-game? (Like Zapdos or Celebi?) And if not, why they are banned? We can't use them in any matter except from the KoH event, so what's the reasoning behind this?
