Able to change pokemon when enemy's pokemon dies

jeanvanax

Question

This is a super important future, because its the only way to easily and quickly level up low level pokemons. I don't know why this is disabled but it's a common thing among a lot of pokemon games. The battle goes on without the game asking you if you want to change your pokemon!! We should be able to change our pokemons before the enemy selects the next pokemon in order to change it back once again and the exp get's shared. That is particularly useful for beginners since we dont have the exp share device.

This feature was removed as it trivializes the game's difficulty. "Switch" mode allows you to maintain a type advantage 100% of the time and bypass the drawbacks of powerful moves, all with no penalty. Although the free switch makes training weak party members easier, it comes at the cost of all storyline balancing and poorly prepares players for the postgame.

The game instead only offers the "Set" mode from the originals as we'd like for it to be challenging. We won't be changing this, even as a setting, sorry.
