Not at all.

This is a community mod now. You guys can distribute it as needed. If I make updates I'll post links for a short period of time and the community can download them if they want.
Then you guys can distribute and share as a community. I did my part.

if you need any help with the mod just hit me up, I know what it is to work with sprites mods, dont doubt to ask me

Okay and maybe one person asked him to. The other mod creations don't act so condescending towards everyone for no reason. Not sure why you're defending somebody looking down on everybody, even in the OP.

It's a good mod but the disrespect is just weird and childish. He chose to make it and then act holier than thou throughout the entire thread

I'm sorry you feel that way, and you may not be entirely unfounded.
I took a step back to look at this without all of the knowledge, private messages, Discord DMs, and perspective that is on this side of the fence.
As a developer, the majority of my forum use is in Unity/UE/StackOverflow. They are much less tolerant than I.
Although you guys have chosen to mod your games, you may not have the mindset of a modder and I realize that.

I also took in consideration that I was military, and my sense of humor may differ from most people. This is a new generation.

I may have pulled a Truman with the "bug reporter".
From my side of the story, this is one of over twenty messages I have received just telling me to fix something that is the developer's design. The "bug reporter", like many others, has no other posts except to tell me there is something wrong with my mod. The majority of them do not say what is wrong, just a photo or a plain text statement. I am not a mind reader.

It is very easy to get irritated by the many messages received during and after developement. I have recieved mesages from this community asking me if I need help with my English because I spelt the name of the mod wrong. I am constantly told I need to update the mod, but after I ask for more info, I am not told what to update. I get messages attacking my personal character for not doing something that was never asked of me. I even get private messages telling me the animations I used are stupid and I need to change them.

I was requested to make this mod by the community. I said yes. You are right. I shouldn't have.
Every day of making this thing, I wanted to quit. But I said I would make it. That is part of being an adult. Doing things you don't want to.
This mod was designed by the community. They chose what animations were used, what colors were used, and how often I had to redo hours of work.

The purpose of the F.A.Q.s, no matter how irrelevant the information may seem to you, was to stop frequent irritating questions. Yes, people messaged me them.
The purpose of the "How this mod was made" was to give you guys the tools to make this mod the way you want it. Which clearly no one cares to do.

I didn't stop hosting this mod because I don't want you guys to have it.
I stopped hosting it, because it is not my mod to host.

"If you don´t like any part of it then change it, make your own or use another one."

You guys chose to download it. What did you expect?
Maybe we are both lying to ourselves.

I expected a community to solve problems and be the change they wanted to see in the world. To make the mod how they wanted and enrich their experience. If they didn't want to mod, why would they be downloading mods? The base game functions fine without having to read additional documentation.
Heck, the Theme modders are doing it like rabbits.

Either way, I'm sorry if you were offended. I will post upgrades for the community to patch and release. I am nothing more than a contributor to the mod.

What an amazing write my friend! 👏

As a prior military background myself, I can understand your point of view and unfortunately this community is the way it is due to the ever so lacking moderation done on the forums. Been like this for years. It is sad because the customization forum could be an amazing area for users that want modification.

I do want to say thank you for creating... sorry... assisting with this MOD and making it what it is today. Even though I personally will not use or download, I still can appreciate hard work and dedication to something that the community can only benefit from.

And by the way, do not apologize to ANYONE when you have done nothing wrong. Period. 🙂

If you’re open to showcasing / teaching me a bit I wouldn’t mind taking a look at a mod and trying to fix it to 1. Learn to apply my skills to PokeMMO modding outside of basic themes & 2. Help possibly get more info off these forums for you when bug reports are posted. Feel free to ask in our messages and I’ll gladly help. I understand how frustrating it is but yes sometimes people don’t also understand it from how a developer may think but you are also producing free work so really thank you for what we have so far.

I appreciate the enthusiasm.
However, the issue is that the "bugs" are on the game developers end and not in the scope of this or any other mod.

The sizing issues you will see here, and on other HD mods, are related to the way the game devs set the scaling of GIFs.
Some of the menus use scaling. Some do not.

This was a known issue in the PokeMMO mod community long before this mod was ever thought of.

Sprite modders have been telling the community to get the game devs to change it for years.

I have previously tried overwriting it in xml with a custom theme. No luck.

The only steps are to ask/wait for the game devs to fix it, or come up with a crazy solution noone has thought of.

Wailord is 14.5 meters long (47' 6").

I reduced him down to 11 meters. Hopefully the purists won't hate too much.

I only have a few photos left from the testers. For more screenshots, you'll have to ask someone who has the mod.
I don't have the game installed.

Dude, i really loved your GUI which is? It's yours?

I don't think that quote is legit. I wouldn't ask where the download link is.

But if you look, I assure you, you will find them. Budadeth made it very obvious. ↑↑↑
