PVP Randoms Interface Bug

Today in my Randoms game I encountered a bug where I tried to switch to another mon in my party, but when the party interface pulled up it asked me to confirm my team. Not realizing something was wrong, I clicked ready again and then it just hung in empty space as it "waited for my opponent to confirm their team". I could not find a way to break out of the waiting message and had to just let my timer run out to end the game. My screenshot of the battle chat box documents my experience. Has anybody else had this experience?

Specifically, I don't know what the problem is due to, but something similar has happened to me, the only thing I do is close the session and re-enter, and this is how it is solved
