When becomes available the egg's breading?

I am doing again the Unima story with a new caracther. My plan is to advance up to the moment when I will be able to breed eggs. Do you know at what point of the story this feature will be unlocked?

in Unova you should be able to start breeding once you reach Nimbasa City, where the 4th Gym Leader is.

 

The Day care is all the way back on Route 3 though.
