Do Cute Charm affect the rate of shiny pokemon?

Cute Charm can affect the gender of encountered pokemon, so there is a question: can gender affect a pokemon shiny or not?

Why would gender affect a mon's shininess lol, you are just trying to find loopholes you know don't exist.

There is a cute charm glitch in original Pokemon Diamond & Pearl that significantly increases shiny odds for pokemon that would be affected by cute charm (like 1/4 odds), but that glitch does not exist in PokeMMO.

Yep. Gender only played a part in a Pokemon shininess in Generation 2, as DV's back then dictated everything about the Pokemon (something Generation 3+ and PokeMMO will never have to worry about)

 

Tl:dr odds are the same cute charm or no cute charm

Yeah its common for streamers to use this glitch in some challenges or just to get ez shinies, look it up.

But to confirm, its not in PokeMMO
