Introduction Team Tournament or TT, is a monthly competition between in-game teams, who fight for position in general standings, to become team #1 for each year. For few years now, we are following points format in which players earn points for their teams in each TT. Tier Rotation Registration includes registration on forum, and guaranted spots for each month. Guaranteed spots in 2022: January- Cup of the year 2021 winner + Dec 2021 TT winner + Teams that attended all TTs in 2021 February- nr 1 Spot on standings March- Nr 1 spot on standings + winners of February April- Nr 1 and 2 standings, + winners of March May- Nr 1 -3 standings + winners of April June- nr 1-4 standings + winners of May July- nr 1-5 standings + winners of June August- nr 1-6 Standings + winners of July September- nr 1-6 Standings + winners of August October- nr 1-6 Standings + winners of September November/December- nr 1-8 Standings + winners Each month +3 first teams from General standings 2021 Those teams needs to provide registration, but will be put on top of registered teams - IF they will make a reservation in within one hour of registration, otherwise they are registered normally without priority. 3. Registration Rules: TT Registration Rules: When Action: Up to one hour AFTER registration Up to one hour BEFORE tournament Up to the start of tournament (by message to the host) During Tournament Registering a team: Yes Yes Yes No Having a reserved spot Yes No No No Changing Captain Yes Yes Yes Yes Editing players Yes Yes No No * All teams must provide all information in single post after registration starts. - Only registered players are allowed to play - No alts of players from other teams or DQ * Entry must be made by a member of the team. * Entry can't include one team, then be edited to have another team registered. * Team must have at least 3 players ready to fight. Failing to meet this requirement, will result in disqualification, and 1st reserve team will take place * Registration must include all information below: Team Name: Team Tag: Registered Players: Team Captain: (Note: The Team Captain is who I will contact if I need to relay information to your team.) Example of valid entry Spoiler Team name: GameMasters Team Tag: GM Registered Players: SecretDjinn Rache Teddi Team Captain: Munya Team Players Gap: 20 4. Penalties Penalties will work like the general warning giving to a team for unsportsman like behavior or trying to ruin the fun for other players. An example of this would be a match-fixing or standing on the spot of fighting players to make it harder to see who they are playing against. This system will run in similar rules to some sports events and will include: -Yellow cards that will work as a warning to a team about certain behavior. -Red cards that will result in taking away the points from general standings, disqualifications of certain players or the whole team- depending on the behavior. In situation when penalty has to be given, hosts will inform Team Captain or representative about it, explain why it is or will be given. Each TT thread will include explanation of playing arena. 5. Prizes Teams from 1 - 3 spots in 2022 will be rewarded with custom vanity. Golden, Silver and Bronze 2022 Best Team Trophies will be awared to three best teams from the Year 2022 Thank you @Darkshadeand @Rache, for this amazing reward!In order for player to get vanity, he needs to be a member of the team for more than 4 months They will not be retroactively given, and will be awarded first time for this year's winners. Team's effort will be calculated using points system: Champion: 10 2nd Place 7 Semifinal 4 Round 3 2 Round 2 1 Note: If a team will get free round 2 due to smaller bracket, no points will be given for round 2 if they will lose a match in r2. The hierarchy in the General Standings Table will be: 1. Points 2. Points scored / TT attended 3. Highest position in tournament (Champions > 2nd place > semifinal etc) 4. Won Matches 5. Lost Matches 6. Direct Matches between teams during 2022 7. Number of TT attended (More is better) 8. Tie Breaker Match Additionally Each Team Tournament will be met with prizes: 4500 RP sent to the players from the Final Match Points for the Team of Year Competition A poster 6. Cup of the Year 2022 At the end of the Year, teams from places 1-8 will be granted entry to the Cup of The Year competition, where teams fight for additional prizes. The competition will be held in 5 vs 5 format, with 4 tiers being OU, UU, NU, and Doubles, and the 5th one being the one chosen by Team of the Year 2022. The challonge will not be randomized. Instead, a team from 1st place in General Standings will face the team nr 8th, 2nd team nr 7th, etc. *** Each Team Tournament is met with a lot of text to read and we want to address it. Soon there will be a guide available with registration rules and where to stand during the tournament, aimed at newer teams who get into the competition. Till the very end, [SLSY] Soul Society had chance to win a Team of Year 2022 title. Im very excited for 2023 edition and I wish luck to all teams.
