Stop with the artificial difficulty

nyta

Question

I've run through this game a few different times. The AI moves (hypnosis for example) have an accuracy of around 85. While the players lucky to hit  the 60% mark it states. The Ai have multiple pokemon evolved multiple levels before it's even possible. They have moves they shouldn't learn MUCH later. It makes 0 sense and makes what would be a good game just lazy and overall bad. The wild pokemon spawn pools are horrible, comparing them to the actual game is a joke. What is the point of going and editing things that have no reason being changed? So people buy gold with real money from other players to buy pokemon? Most likely. Level 22 Haunters that know shadowclaw is just stupid.  The market place is flooded with offers obviously posted to get gold they paid someone for. Making this game exactly like 90% of MMOs on the market an artificially hard pay to win mess.

If you've run through the game multiple times you'd know you can also get moves you originally can't learn until much later with the move relearner. As for the overall difficulty there is a wide base of people who genuinely like the difficulty curve to this game. If you don't like how this game is setup you can genuinely just not play it if you find yourself struggling so much, or being irritated so much at this game 😛 I love and appreciate this game for what it is. A nice Pokemon MMO.

The NPCs have same rate as you. What happens here is that you can't one shot half of map so you get hit with status moves more often. In standard games, AI often uses things like leer etc when it could end your pokemon with attack- our AI is less dumb.

If you are hit with attack 10 times instead of 1, its easy to feel cheated

I can think of 2 NPC's you could be referring to here; Ghetsis and Iris. They Both in the regular games use Pokemon that are underleveled but fully evolved.

iirc Haunter's have a swarm that appear underleveled, but Shadow Punch is a move Haunter learns on Evolve. It could be that rather than Shadow Claw?

Personally I like the difficulty "adjustment" to the game.

The problem is that the original games were way to easy and kinda dumb. The fact that you had the option of shift where it tells you what the next pokemon is going to be sent and if you want to have a free turn to switch shows that point very well.

Pokemon that are evolved while being less level than its possible is super rare and not even a pokemmo thing as it was the same in original games.Like hydreigon lvl54 ghetsis.

Pokemmo made almost all trainers have good moves and have held items. It was kind of dumb in original games were alot of trainers would just use useless weak moves like leer tackle even that higher level like 20 30s.

The game is still too easy as they have given better moves and held items to random trainers but there is one important thing missing.Trainers like rockets which is a important class in firered they have pokemons like zubats rattata at like 30s levels. They should give latest possible form as long as level is right.

And while npc trainers have advantages so does the player. You can buy and trade from players to get alot of stuff right from the start.Need 4 badges from 1st region to use gtl but literally your first second of gameplay 0 badge you can get items from players manually.
