Calcs for my pokemon vs garchomp Porygon vs chomp: 252+ SpA Adaptability Porygon-Z Swift vs. Lvl 88 0 HP / 0 SpD Garchomp: 192-228 (60.9 - 72.3%) 252+ SpA Adaptability Porygon-Z Swift vs. Lvl 88 0 HP / 0+ SpD Garchomp: 176-208 (55.8 - 66%) 252+ SpA Adaptability Porygon-Z Swift vs. Lvl 88 0 HP / 252 SpD Garchomp: 148-176 (46.9 - 55.8%) 252+ SpA Adaptability Porygon-Z Swift vs. Lvl 88 0 HP / 252+ SpD Garchomp: 136-160 (43.1 - 50.7%) So chomp has to be no special def investment, or +spdef nature ONLY But, Typhlosion vs chomp: 252+ SpA Typhlosion Eruption (150 BP) vs. Lvl 88 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp: 153-181 (48.5 - 57.4%) 252+ SpA Typhlosion Eruption (150 BP) vs. Lvl 88 0 HP / 4+ SpD Garchomp: 140-165 (44.4 - 52.3%) 252+ SpA Typhlosion Eruption (150 BP) vs. Lvl 88 0 HP / 252+ SpD Garchomp: 108-127 (34.2 - 40.3%) (Underlined calcs show possible Chomp EVs/nature based on damage) Both Typhlosion and Porygon-Z are 252 spA modest Typhlosion was 100% hp Would be nice if someone sheds light on this Ty^^ Link to comment
Rache Posted August 11, 2022 Share Posted August 11, 2022 Damage on spread moves is reduced when they hit multiple targets, you can get accurate ranges for this by switching your calculator to doubles. The damage output returns to normal when there's only one target on the field, which is why Swift did the amount of damage you were expecting afterwards. Edwardinho and akaHeroGarou 2 Link to comment
