Welcome to the Official PokeMMO Team Tournament of December 2022

These are monthly competitive tournaments where teams can test their skill against each other.
Players battle as teams (3 at a time). Teams can switch out which members compete between rounds

 

 

[OpTc] Optic

 

will be given the opportunity to defend their title from Novembear 2022 They have earned a registration slot.

 

 

 


December: OU/ UU/ Doubles

 

 

On each round, 3 players from each team will place in line in the following order :

The top spot will be an OU Match

The middle spot will be an UU Match

Below, there will be Doubles Match

Those teams needs to provide registration, but will be put on top of registered teams - IF they will make a reservation in within one hour of registration, otherwise they are registered normally without priority.

* All teams must provide all information in single post after registration starts.

  - Only registered players are allowed to play

  - No alts of players from other teams or DQ

* Entry must be made by a member of the team.

* Entry can't include one team, then be edited to have another team registered.

* Team must have at least 3 players ready to fight. Failing to meet this requirement, will result in disqualification, and 1st reserve team will take place

Points for the Team of The Year Competition:

Notes :

  • Disconnecting during a match will result in a DQ.
  • Do not block the Staff running the Event. If you disregard requests for you to unblock staff members then you will be disqualified.
  • Once your match is called you will have 10 minutes to report to the table. No time extensions will be given.
  • Teams must have 3 players for each round. If team is registered, but fails to have 3 players, 1st reserve team takes their place in bracket. 
  • Matches must have 1 hour limit time. - In rounds 1-3
  • Please listen to staff members instructions during tournament. The behaviour of ruining the event for other players on purpose will be met with a yellow/red card system of penalties, as explained in the main thread HERE

Checked again and 6 teams have chance to become team #1 in 2022.  This post is still WIP and its goal is not to laugh at teams for not having enough points, but for them to be aware of their situation during TT. Expected it to be fully done by 5.01.2023

 

 

 

[OpTc] - If VGC wins December, they need at least 2nd place. 

 

 

[VGC] Vermilion Golden Champions  - They need to be at least in Semifinal to have chance. If OpTc will go to Semifinal, they have to win.

[Aw] Asgard Warriors need to go to final match, assuming OpTc will not go higher than semifinal.They have more won fights already so it could've secured their title.

 

 

[SLSY] SoulSociety will need to win December, and for OpTc to score less than 2 points. If OpTc will score 2 points, it will again be about won fights- so that would secure trophy for SLSY.

 

 

[SIÂ] Sic Itur Ad Astra has 2nd hardest situation cause they need to count on OpTc to not score even a single point, and for other opponents to score less than 4, 5 and 8 points- while also they need to win December's TT. By doing it, they would have same Points/TT score as OpTc, but higher won fights number, making it 1st place.

 


[HDLM] SonsOfTheDeath has a chance, assuming they will win TT and OpTc will not get a single point. Then, the opponents can't score too many points as well

 

 

I wish good luck to all participants! During the Team Tournament, I will try to link live TT scoreboard for those 6 teams to make sure players will be aware who is currently #1.

Close fight on Championship table to decide Team of the Year. 3 teams have realistic chances to win: Asgard Warriors, Vermilion Golden Champions and Optic.

To VGC - Vermilion Golden Champions , win the championship, one of following situations need to happens:
- They need to win and pray for Optic fall on semifinals
- They need to reach on finals, as long as Optic fall on round 3.
- They need to reach on semifinals, if Optic didn't score at all, and Asgard Warriors can't win this TT or reach on finals.

To Optic, basically if they reach to Finals, they're the Team of this year. Just having 3 or less point difference to VGC on this tournament make they unable to pass Optic

Asgard Warriors are on more problematic situation, to win the title of Team of the Year:
- If they end as Champions, both VGC and Optic cannot pass from semifinals.
- If they end as runner-ups, both VGC and Optic cannot pass from Round 3.

- Falling before semifinals means no chance of title for they unless Optic/VGC take point penalty for any reason, but most likely will not have any on this TT.

Is 100% possible that this championship end on point tie, and champion gets decided on Tie-break. 

Also, @Bearminator you didn't typed event name Wrong? The name are December, wasn't supposed to be Decembear?

Romantic and Solemn Promisse cannot score. 
Lord can only go to round 3 at maximum
Kingdom of doom and Nore can be at maximum runner ups.
They need to win this TT.

This is the scenario that must happen in order to they qualify to Cup of the year. If any of those 4 not happen, they need to some team of top 8 not sign to Cup of the year.
