Introduction Team Tournament or TT, is a monthly competition between in-game teams, who fight for position in general standings, to become team #1 for each year. For few years now, we are following points format in which players earn points for their teams in each TT. 2. Tier Rotation January: OU / UU / NU February: UU / NU / Doubles March: OU / NU / Doubles April: OU/ UU/ Doubles May: OU / UU / NU June: UU / NU / Doubles July: OU / NU / Doubles August: OU/ UU/ Doubles September: OU / UU / NU October: UU / NU / Doubles November: OU / NU / Doubles December: OU/ UU/ Doubles 3. Registration Registration has place on forum, and includes guaranted spots for each month. Guaranteed spots in 2023: January- Dec 2022 TT winner + Teams that attended all TTs in 2022 February- Cup of the year 2022 winner + nr 1 Spot on standings March- Nr 1 spot on standings + winners of February April- Nr 1 and 2 standings, + winners of March May- Nr 1 -3 standings + winners of April June- nr 1-4 standings + winners of May July- nr 1-5 standings + winners of June August- nr 1-6 Standings + winners of July September- nr 1-6 Standings + winners of August October- nr 1-6 Standings + winners of September November/December- nr 1-8 Standings + winners Each month +3 first teams from General standings 2022 Those teams needs to provide registration, but will be put on top of registered teams - IF they will make a reservation in within one hour of registration, otherwise they are registered normally without priority. 3a. A. Registration starts on Thursday and ends on Friday - same hour. a) Teams must provide all information in single post after registration starts. b) Only registered players are allowed to play c) no alts of players from other teams B. Entry must be made by a member of the team. a) entry can't include one team, then be edited to have another one registered. C. Team must have at least 3 players ready to fight. Required information: Team Tag + Name: Registered Players: Team Captain: (Note: The Team Captain is who I will contact if I need to relay information to your team.) The process of TT Team Tournament will be held in the same way every month: a) Thread will be open with the date of tournament and registration b) Registration will start on Thursday before the tournament. Check the timezone converters. c) Registration will end on Friday before the tournament. Same time as start of registration so if it starts 8pm GMT Thursday, it ends Friday 8pm GMT d) Bracket will be shuffled and made visible on Friday, after end of registration. Information about where matches are going to be held will be released either on Friday or Saturday. e) On Saturday, before start of tournament, teams will be able to claim they are ready to fight on discord, forum, or in game. f) In case of team being unable to play, reserve spot team takes their place- or opponents gets Round 1 bye. g) In-game team call will be held on ch4. Only captains needs to be there, playing players can safely be on ch3 if that's where their match is going to be Detailed describtion will be shared within a TT guide. 5. Penalties Spoiler Penalties will work like the general warning giving to a team for unsportsman like behavior or trying to ruin the fun for other players. An example of this would be a match-fixing or standing on the spot of fighting players to make it harder to see who they are playing against. This system will run in similar rules to some sports events and will include: -Yellow cards that will work as a warning to a team about certain behavior. -Red cards that will result in taking away the points from general standings, disqualifications of certain players or the whole team- depending on the behavior. In situation when penalty has to be given, hosts will inform Team Captain or representative about it, explain why it is or will be given. 6. Cup of the Year 2023 Team's effort will be calculated using points system: Champion: 15 2nd Place 7 Semifinal 4 Round 3 2 Round 2 1 Note: If a team will get free round 2 due to smaller bracket, no points will be given for round 2 if they will lose a match in r2. The hierarchy in the General Standings Table will be: 1. Points 2. Highest position in tournament during year (Champions > 2nd place > semifinal etc) 3. Direct Matches between teams during 2023 4. Points scored / TT attended 5. Won/Lost Matches (more the better) 6. Tie breaker match if needed. 7. Prizes Teams from 1 - 3 spots in 2023 will be rewarded with custom vanity. In order for player to get vanity, he needs to play at least one match for the team during the year Also, player needs to be registered for a team at least four times Each Team Tournament will be met with prizes: 4500 RP sent to team Captain or to the players from Final Match Points for the Team of Year Competition A poster *** We wish all teams good luck in this year's competition! To clarify, a reminder about registration: - Registration time is 24 hours in the monthly thread, not in this one - If a team registers after 24 24-hour period, we will not count it, even if the bracket has empty spots If you have any questions, please let me know via post/message. It will not matter which team is 2nd during December. [VOW] Solemn Promise has also a chance to win the year if they become champions and the rivals: - Nore: Lower than 3rd round, 3rd round then it's an equalizer, but due to direct matches Nore would've been champions - Lo: Lower than Semifinal, if it's Semifinal then it's an equalizer, but due to direct matches Lo would've been champions - Lava: Lower than 2nd Place, if it's 2nd place then lava wins. This week last check of the points will happen.
