Posted February 12, 20232 yr First of all, I am Spanish. I'm in a club with people who are mostly from Latin America, and only 2 or 3 of us are Spanish. When I started playing this game in the summer, the club was active, they held events, etc, the chat didn't stop... in short, it was alive. I played until halloween, and there I stopped until a couple of weeks ago when I came back, and the club has gotten much worse. There is hardly anyone left from when I joined. Events that were attended by 30-40 people are no longer attended by even 5 people. And according to what the creator of my club says, he has contact with other clubs and it is a reality, it is happening with more clubs, just as it is happening to us in our club, people are stopping playing, the game is dying. I wanted to ask you, whether you speak English or Spanish, it doesn't matter. Is this happening at your club? Are you noticing that people gradually stop playing? Thank you and good night!
February 12, 20232 yr Regarding my experience in clubs, I can say that it is normal, generally when there are official seasonal events, the players and the clubs are super active, when these events finish, it will depend a lot on the motivation and things that the participants of your club have to do and want to do in the game and also the activities they carry out in the club to entertain themselves.
February 12, 20232 yr If a team will kept alive or not heavily depends of how good the team leaders will manage the team. Depending of him, team can keep months or years alive. A player on chat PT called Shelmo never found a good adminsistration to their teams and they usually dies on 2-3 months with him getting kicked out by all other players. And Asgard Warriors have a excellent one and managed to kept 10 years alive.
February 12, 20232 yr The game isn't dying, it's just that the pool of player rotates often. Such an MMO without real long term goals to achieve won't keep its playerbase for years, except a few % of the most addicted ones. You'll often have people leave and new people join, it's just how it is. If you want a team that stays active all year long, first it is quite difficult to find, and second you should look into older structures that have been around for a longer time, they likely have old players that are not going to leave the game 🙂

May 17May 17 Yes, and it's going to be even more dead once Champions is released. The game has been going downhill for a few years now, primarily due to a lack of events and a poor moderation team. The only people playing full-time are those who have invested their social lives into it. At this point, it's basically Habbo with Pokémon. However, the biggest issue is the staff. From lies and false bans to blatant favoritism, the problems are endless. For years, they insisted that Shiny Lock wasn't a thing, only to turn around and gaslight the community, acting as if they'd always been transparent about it. At one point, there were daily ban waves, many conveniently targeting players the mods didn't like, even YouTubers like Pat. It's not far-fetched to say that items are being generated for players the mods favor. This is the problem with having a game moderated and staffed primarily by members of the community who often lack basic social skills. Edited May 17May 17 by Syntexqt Truth

It's not far-fetched to say that items are being generated for players the mods favor. This is the problem with having a game moderated and staffed primarily by members of the community who often lack basic social skills. I would want to address this first: As staff, we have corrected the information about the shiny lock and presented to the public. A lot of players who thought they were shiny locked (and still do, judging by questions on the in-game chat) have assumed they are locked cause they haven't gotten shiny in X encounters. I understand where this comes from, though- we aim for better communication wherever it's possible, hence why, for example, our support articles exist, to explain situations like shiny lock to newer players. We don't ban people "just cause we don't like them". I had to ban one of my best in-game friends at some point, so trust me, we are objective in that matter. Any GM found banning people just because they don't like someone would've faced consequences. I'm happy to report we had no such case as far as I remember. I don't know where the items generated for players we favor come from, but feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Only HGM+ can spawn assets like rewards for the events- so no lower staff would've been able to do it. ______________________________________________________ As per the thread question, you notice the same kind of threads around the times when no big events are going on, or when traffic on the forum becomes smaller. You can only trust me, but no data suggests the game is dying. Lastly, I encourage players to contact me if they have any questions, regarding of the work of the staff team, or if they want to report any issues. HGM's goal is to expand communication with the player base and, as always, correct anything faulty.
