highyo's Shiny Wars!
[This event is for all of the PokeMMO community to join!]

Event info
Hello all! I am hosting an event for all of the PokeMMO community to join. This is a 2-week long, 3-team, group shiny race.
All players wishing to join can sign up by mailing highyo the 250k sign-up fee, and then be randomly drafted to 1 of 3 teams.
For the subject add "Shiny Wars" when mailing the 250k participation fee. Fees / Donations will set the final prize amount!
The draft will take place 1 day before the event starts. We will use a randomizer to draft the participants for each team.
Each shiny found during the event will gain points for that player's team, and the team with the most points wins. Points per shiny will vary depending on how the shiny is found (single encounter, 3x horde, 5x horde, etc). 
You may mail me in-game with the 250k fee to sign up to participate. Let's catch some awesome shinies!

Point system

69 Points - Alpha shiny

7 Points - Safari shiny (fled = 0 points)

5 Points - Single Encountered shiny
3 Points - Double Battle Encountered shiny

2 Points - 3x Horde shiny

1 Point - 5x Horde shiny
3 Point bonus if the pokemon is a secret shiny (secret shinies are found in single encounters +5)

RULES
-To sign up to enter this event please message me or mail me (IGN: highyo) in-game with the 250k fee (may also be traded) and you will be drafted to 1 of the 3 teams before the event starts
We will be limiting the teams to 10 slots per team (not including Captains) for a total of 33 participants!
-This event is OPEN to the general public - Please refer to the rule above to sign up
-Players will meet at the Sliph Co. - channel 3 at the draft time (7:00 PM EST on March 12th, 2023) the draft is not mandatory to be placed on a team
-You do not need to show up to the draft to participate in the event, as long as you sign up, you will be drafted to 1 of the 3 teams
-Participants will be randomly drafted to 1 of the 3 teams - You can choose to show up in the game at the draft location listed above.
-The event will officially start 1 day after the draft (at 8:00 PM EST on March 13th) players will hunt for two weeks to get as many shiny pokemon/points as possible for their team
-Team members may vote to kick inactive players from their team (captains will have the final say on this decision)
-Players may sign up to join a team after the event begins if a player has been kicked from a team due to inactivity. (These players will still be required to pay the 250k participation fee)
-Shiny pokemon that were caught before a player joins a team or after they have been kicked do not count towards that team's point total
-After the end of the event (at 8:00 PM EST on March 27th, 2023) prizes will be distributed evenly among the players of the winning team
-Safari shiny pokemon must be caught to count (fled shiny pokemon DO NOT COUNT!)
-Egg / Fossil shiny pokemon will NOT be permitted in this competition!
-In the event of a TIE between 2 or more teams at the end of the event (8:00 PM EST March 27th, 2023), the event will go into SUDDEN DEATH, - the first team to score ANY points wins
-All participants must pay a sign-up fee of 250k to participate in this event (please pay in pokeyen only) - No refunds 
-Cheating will not be tolerated, anyone caught cheating will be disqualified and banned from all future events
-Signups start now! (as of this posting)

-YOU MUST SCREENSHOT THE ACTUAL SHINY ENCOUNTER BEFORE BATTLING OR CATCHING IT TO PROVE WHAT TYPE OF ENCOUNTER IT IS.
*OT & Capture Time / Location / Date must also be included in separate screenshots as shown below.

nice event! I suggest you just remove egg shinies from the equation as there is no way to prove it's a new shiny in a public event. Met at war would make things easier. GL all who participate!

Same thing i'd say here, there is no way to check if someone cheated or not, people will go around this and cheat egg shinies with breeding shinies they already got
in a team oriented event we know who has what shiny and what is everyone hunting, we link egg breeds once they hatch in chat to indicate that we're shunting eggs, in a non team/public oriented event there is no way you can know if someone cheated or not

Shiny Alphas are hype but can we consider removing or lowering the 69 points value for them?

I appreciate the meme and understand how rare and unlikely it is, but it would completely skew the balance of the event.

Maybe it could be lowered to something still substantial but more reasonable like 20 points, or 15.
