Paying for Data Collection on Rock Smashing and Lure Data

Recommended Posts

Ayo Folks o7,

RNG Fallacy [ RNGf] is looking for folks interested in helping with Data collection and getting paid to do it. We are currently looking to crowd source the data and are currently paying 50k per hour of collected data on the current two topics (Rock smashing and lure data) and intend to expand in the future to other lesser data collected areas

Tl;Dr: I am paying 50k for data collection on Rock Smash Data and Lure Data. Contact in advance if interested in helping

We are looking for anyone wanting to help collect Rock Smash Data for all four regions (Johto once we get an idea of routes) and lure encounters. For anyone interested, please message me (shamorunner#6965) or join our discord server to get started (https://discord.gg/JQWfM27k2s). Please contact in advance so that Rock Smash Data includes the needed data or for the limited lure data needed

For Rock Smash Data we're looking for rocks smashed (or using an approved route or getting a route approved, this lets us make sure the algorithms are correct in the spreadsheets are correct), how many mons were encountered, how many of each item were obtained, and how many runs of the given route were completed

For Lure Data, we are just looking for the raw encounters on the route for what is encounterable. The reason for wanting data on encounterable mons with lures is two fold: using lures add mons that are normally not encounterable at a given location and the other is that some normally encountered mons are not encounterable while using a lure (ex: shellos/Gastrodon on Route 224). For Lure Data, we are looking for roughly 1h of data at a given location while using lures to know what is encounterable. Currently all locational lure data is needed for water, grass, dark grass, and fishing. This does mean that once the initial data is collected for what is encounterable with a lure, no further data will be currently needed for the given location. If there is demand for the encounter rates of specific locations, we will then add the location to our list of data to collect
