Forum Update

Question

Back in 2012, players were almost all from either europe o usa, maybe one or two from spain. In the actual year there are big communities from everywere with diferent languages across them, this includes moderators for each language and customized tabs ingame for each one. Here on forum we only are allowed to post english because ¿Lack of web developers maybe? Idk. Pokemmo is grown enough and still be growing with time, and so new players from diferent cultures getting enganged w the game. There is no official place for these players with no english knowledge to ask for help or discuss deep topics the way we do here.

We can fix this two ways, one for quick shitty solution, by adding a lang switcher for each comment instead of posting in 2 languages the same text box:

Or we can get an enterely separate forum section for each language:

Need a web developer? I'll be glad to help.

What do y'all think of this?

Some sort of solution would be nice! Another option would be to make the current forum categories into sub categories under other popular languages and allow us to hide the ones we don't want to see. Not the best solution in the world, but I've seen various other forums handle it that way.

Hi,

Currently we do not have enough moderators for most of the languages to include one more platform specific for their language. It's not a matter that we don't think about it or we don't have the developers for it, we just don't have the manpower to maintain it.

Our staff members are volunteers and have their irl to deal with as well. While the EN forum can be moderated by everyone in staff, language-specific forums would depend on specific moderators. It's not something we are ready to do yet. Maybe in the future, who knows. 🙂

Hope someday this to come out, as you said, maybe in the future like every other addition has being made...
