Let me make clear some points about johto.

We will be able to play johto in septembre because they will first add a server test for johto and it will be open for at least one week so people can declare if there's bugs after that the server will be close and after 3-4 months (maybe more) johto will get released

A few months ago I saw a guy who shared images of him playing in johto, the images seemed very real, there was probably a very closed beta that we didn't know about ;(

My guess is they hand picked players to test out the closed beta. Though I understand their reasons, I would like to be able to test out upcoming content a bit beforehand.

The staff set up the PTS server to a state where they believe its "functional"

 

Once thats achieved, its opened to the public so we can crowd source any missed bugs
