It does only affects pickup and items provided by defeating mons? or it also increases items held by wild mons? I dont see any clarification about this anywere, the desacription from the item suggests it only affects pickup and items provided by defeating mons.

From what I understand it only affects the chances of finding items after a wild battle, not held items by wild encounters
