This event is really cool! It's nice to have a long term goal like this, I really like it.

On the initial post, it would be nice to make the “Week 1, Week 2, Week 3 (etc)” texts clickable so that they redirect to the associated event pages, for easier navigation.

I see so many people struggling to find the right posts for each event, I think this would help a little.

Many players don't know about the forum, and some don't make any effort either, it must be admitted, but I think it would be much simpler for many players.

Due to the amount of missed entries can we ask all participants to keep their entries until the December finale.

Furthermore, we will not check if entries are missed 4 days after the event has taken place. Once leaderboards are updated please let us know as soon as possible if we have missed your entry.

There's a spoiler under 'Next event' with a link to the next event, it's updated each week
We can also make clickable links as you suggested for current and previous weeks, i'll edit it in a minute

What happens if the player no longer has their OT Pokémon (entry) in their possession? Whether it was released or sold.

If your points have been registered on the event sheet already then it's fine. But if not, if 4 days since the last event have elapsed, we wont look at/fix this for you like Elizn said. So basically, look after we update the score and let us know ASAP if there's any issues so we can fix this.

Hey guys!

Based on feedback - we've decided to up the amount of points needed to qualify for the finales from 400 > 800. Thanks for your comments :)

I don't understand this change. You literally said you wanted many players to reach the final stage of this event. Based on "feedback" from your friends you then proceed to change it because your friend thinks too many players will reach the final stage ?

It's not because 400 is easy to reach for someone that has the time and the luck (timezone-wise) to be able to make it that it's unreasonably easy for everyone. Being able to participate in 3/8 events is already an enormous factor to reduce player participation in finals.

Making it harder is just demanding more player investment, but the jump from 400 to 800 is insane, basically it is from "you need to participate 3/8" to "you need to participate 6/8". You just lost an enormous amount of player to play final stage when your goal was "many players". You could have make it harder with like 500 points or so, making it 4 participations required, which would have been enough.

For me it's a major issue as staff member to give up on your event goals and design just because of a minority of player's influence, minority that isn't neutral and doesn't represent the average player. Big L.

The reason this change was made was because it was discussed with the people organizing the event and we decided as a whole it was too easy to qualify for the finale (I still believe now too easy). We do want people to make the finals, but it has to be considered this is not a regular casual catch event - it's a seasonal event thus should be treated like one. I hope this clears things up, thanks for your input.

Hello organizers and GM's, I saw the total points in the season pve, but you only added the points of the pokemon I caught to my total score and did not add the 50 bonus points for first place. Greetings, I hope you can correct it, thank you!

"Thank you so much, @Elizn! That really means a lot to me. I’m truly happy I had the chance to make it happen, and I hope I can hold onto first place on the scoreboard throughout the whole event. 😄 My team and I even worked out an interesting catching strategy for the next round. Now the pressure’s really on!"
