May 4May 4 Author I have improved upon the "guide" part of the sheet a bit by expanding the very first table to house all the berries, grouped by growth time and ordered alphabetically within each cell, and by adding a watering table for each growth category (16, 20, 42, 44, 67hrs). The PP Max Farm section is now renamed "Berry Powder Farm Methods", and I added all the items from the Elite 4 vendor that made any sense to farm for at all. You will have to copy the sheet to your google drive, once again, for full functionality as I've added more dropdown buttons. The different sections of the sheet are now collapsible, as the sheet was getting a little bit too long for my liking. Screenshot to show you what I mean:
May 4May 4 Then are we free to rename it with whatever?? For example, some japanese dark meaning names for boys ( https://cozmicway.com/japanese-names-that-mean-dark/ ) sound appealing, so can I these name to rename it?! Edited May 5May 5 by GlenKelvis

May 4May 4 Author I just came to find out that some of the seed combinations for berries were wrong this whole time. I copied them from guides that have existed for almost a decade, so it didn't occur to me to fact check or verify the berry recipes... but here we are. I verified all recipes myself and Belue, Custap, Occa, Petaya and possibly 1 or 2 that I forgot have now been corrected. Shame that it was Belue, but I guess it was too good to be true. The best vendor berry remains Sitrus Berry.

This little project is just taking me places.
May 6May 6 Author Added a new section called "General Berry Farming". You can look up any berry now to see approx. how much you make per day, growing and selling that berry, and you can get a sense of whether it's worth it to farm your own seeds for that particular berry or not. For the seed farming part of that comparison I applied the following logic : I never apply the GTL fee for the Seed variant you're farming for, because the information you want to know is whether the monetary value produced by farming the seeds yourself is equal to or higher than buying them from GTL and just planting the berry instead. If you have 'Evade Taxes' turned on, GTL fee will never be applied, if it's turned off it will look at the other seeds in the recipe and only apply the GTL fee if the recipe doesn't use that particular seed. For example: Tamato Berry requires a Very Spicy, Plain Spicy and Plain Dry Seed. In this example there would be no GTL fee for either of the Spicy Seed variants, because you'll reuse any extras to make more Tamato berries. However, there would be a GTL fee for the Very Dry Seeds, because I assume you would sell those on GTL, as you only reuse the Plain Dry Seeds to replant Tamatos. Or in the case of something like Watmel, where it uses the same variant of a seed twice (Very Sweet x2), I would apply the GTL fee on the "Plain" variant (Plain Sour). As always, if you are farming "Plain" Seeds and you have extra "Very" Seeds of that variety, it is worth it to replant those "Very" Seeds as Aguav/Mago/Iapapa/Wiki/Figy for an extra boost in "Plain" Seeds if the price of the "Plain" variant isn't in the gutter (like Plain Spicy and Plain Dry). I have a feeling I massively overcomplicated the Leppa tables, but I'll leave it as it is. Edited May 6May 6 by Lilyrain
May 6May 6 Author Under "Seed Farming" you can now check whether it is cheaper to buy seeds straight from GTL or if it is worth your time to buy Rawst/Pecha/Aspear/Chesto/Cheri Berries from GTL and Harvest Tool them for seeds yourself. So far it seems worth it for Rawst/Pecha/Aspear. This is, of course, only relevant for as long as berry supplies last on GTL at the listed prices. BTW, I am officially out of ideas of what i want to use the sheet for. If you have anything specific in mind that you would want to use the sheet for, but I haven't implemented yet, do let me know! Nah, I'd say it's foolproof enough. I suggested the screenshots/mini tutorial so they can see how it works without opening the document. I still think your guide is very good and easy to understand
May 9May 9 Author Added an Index with clickable links to everywhere. Each section now also has a link to go back to the Index, for faster navigation. Do be careful: when you collapse sections then hyperlinks to cells that are hidden will not take you there. I didn't think my sheet was going to be that kind of guide, but I decided to add a noob friendly section to explain the very, very basics, inspired by the old and beloved guide by xStarr (this one) that I have been referencing for the last year and a half for personal use and also in the making of this sheet. At some point in time I added all the EV items (Zinc, Calcium, Hyper Carbos etc.) to the Berry Powder Farming section, but I forgot to shout it out. This is me shouting it out. 17 hours ago, Klokt said: Nah, I'd say it's foolproof enough. I suggested the screenshots/mini tutorial so they can see how it works without opening the document. I still think your guide is very good and easy to understand I'll give the mini tutorial some thought. It will probably feature a lot of the internet's beloved friend: "the red arrow". In my mind it's going to be a lot of effort, so it might be a few days before I muster the will to finish it, but when it's done, I will probably repurpose the first 2 posts I made to slot in the screenshot guide o7 Edited May 9May 9 by Lilyrain
May 10May 10 Author Added a little extra something for fun at the end of the sheet: You can have a running seed shopping list on the sheet, it automatically pulls the seeds, calculates how much to add and updates the table to reflect the total of all the seeds you are going to need. In this example: Let's say you want to add Tamatos (Very Spicy, Plain Spicy, Plain Dry) on 6 characters and Leppas (Very Spicy, Plain Bitter, Plain Sweet) on 3 characters, this is what it would look like at the end: To start over, select all the cells in the "How many seeds you need" table, and press Delete. Edit: Whoops forgot to add the price total, also added what is in the list so far for your convenience: Edited May 10May 10 by Lilyrain
June 1Jun 1 Author So, uh, it's been a "few" days xD. I hope you guys enjoy the main character "Red Arrow". I have edited the first few posts on the first page to make a screen capture guide of how to use this thing. Wasn't totally sure what people might be looking for, so if you feel you still don't understand how something works, quote me and I'll do my best to rectify the situation o7
June 9Jun 9 Author A little update boys and girls, PokeMMO Hub is changing some stuff in the backend and @ColesNightfill graciously updated my functions for me to work with the new way they're doing it. Many thanks as always :DIf you were enjoying automatically having the prices filled in from PokeMMO Hub, please make a new copy of the sheet and it should work again (let me know if it doesn't!) o7
